Last year. Wow. Just saw the video now, May, '24. Glad to hear you're still with us. I too am an old fart with heart issues but still wrenching and riding. I wonder if you realize how appreciated you are.........

I can hardly believe the parallels between old me and you, loving mechanics and motorcycles yet limited by the physical as we age. I had a low speed bike crash on my CB1100 in a roundabout breaking my right arm. I just remarried 3 days before and the broken arm seriously interfered with my move from Jacksonville to Lake Panasoffkee. It took six months before I regained full use of my right arm, during which I went to Marietta Georgia to purchase my VFR 1200F. Now I have a beautiful shop on the property to sit and work on my 3 bikes, but I can't seem to find the time to do what I would love to do best or feel my best. Your incite into the physical is showing me my limitations too.

Congrats on the nuptials, sorry to hear about the slow-speed incident. I have no beautiful shop, but frankly, I don't want one. Too much work, expense and with my health ebbing, how much use would I get out of it anyway? My anniversary is New Years Eve and reminds me that there are more important things in life than even motorcycles, when I look at my lovely spouse everyday. Here's a story to perhaps help: my financial advisor's assistance is a very nice lady about my age, who likewise suffers from the vestibular issues I do. Come to find out about it two years ago while in her office through normal chit-chat. I turned her on to a special eye doctor here in Florida who deals with the vision side, in fact the only one in the state who does. We talk on the phone from time to time (yesterday in fact was the last) and she told me something that hit home saying, I'm the only one she discusses her issues with, because nobody in her family even, understands. I guess that's the point here, find someone who you can talk to and compare notes about things, not only may you find some insight on the medical side but it just helps to discuss things with a kindred spirit. Cheers.

Glad to see you are doing well, I feel ya man on the riding, I took my self off of my bike because of some health reasons, but I still love the bikes and I still wrench on them. I look at mine settings in the corner of my shop and just remember the great rides😎🌴 we had together. At least we are still on the right side of the dirt my brother, so just take care and be safe. You keep posting and I will keep watching. Thanks for the video.

so glad you're back and hopefully feeling better, give yourself time to heal and "pace" yourself when you feel that you can resume working on the bikes. nothing is as important as taking care of yourself, we can wait on new content, good luck and God bless!!

Got a quick check from the PA at Cardiologist office yesterday morning, wound check etc... looks good. At this point I can start working my way atop two or three wheels. Cheers.

Sorry to hear of the pace maker troubles Tom. Glad you made it back home safe and sound and got the care you needed. You could always cage it up to the mountains. Don’t give up yet, you got more mountain rides left man. Hang in there.

Hi Mike. Thanks for the reply. I think you're missing the point -- last time I checked, the distance between A and B was the same no matter what the mode of transport. It's the distance away from home that's the issue and plus, every time I try and do a trip, something happens medically, or weather wise, etc. It's just too much hassle. Take care.

Well, i am glad you got the pacemaker issue resolved, and you can at least continue to enjoy wrenching on bikes. Your channel is beneficial to you and its viewers, so its sad that father time is forcing you to stop riding on trips though. I know how you feel , cuz we are probably about the same age, and i have had my physical troubles, compounded by injuries, surgeries etc. So, keep on Truckin, we will keep on watchin :)
