Imad TT Not as bad as you think, real world its close to a 1.1 litre (Ford Fiesta European model) - had one for two weeks as a courtesy car. The Cayenne weights as much as 3 fiestas and and engine capacity over 4x more and also has a proper 4x4 drive system - yet the mpg - real world is only 3 to 5 mpg difference.
Just installed these on my 2009 Cayenne GTS (957). Sounds very similar - the 2006 Cayenne S in this video has a 4.5L and mine has a 4.8L. I also have the Hanksville resonated secondary cat bypass but I wanted to pass along the part number if anyone else is curious about ordering the exact part. It is the Flowmaster 843015 Super 10 Series Muffler (3" inlet/outlet). There is some drone which it to be expected but it won't cause headaches like a straight pipe. I was able to buy them for $160 and installation was $175 (prices will vary but not too much). Hope this helps!
I have watched basically every video on youtube for Porsche Cayenne exhaust and this has to be the best sounding of all of them. I rewatch this all the time lol
9/10 sound (only cause I ain't able to hear it in person!!). For reference I drive a 2022 7.3 F350 with headers and Dynomax mufflers. I LOVE V8 NOISE!!!
Tx. Have not had a problem with the bulkhead. Have had the problem on the A/c resovoir on the passenger side. Very annoying. A bit of a pain to empty, but not horrible.
David Miller Hi David, the top one in the list could be helpful along with the other items in that playlist. ruclips.net/p/PLFVuIMWVznk_9U2-sQIHlNyTiHiyimbSM Be sure to like, share and subscribe and if you honestly have any questions please feel free to ask on my video as I've done many things on my Cayenne with more to come being edited even now (including a bluetooth install that will play music/app audio with steering controls).
This sounds friggin tremendous. I've just bought a 2014 Base Cayenne for my wife...V6...it's a bit gutless but fun and she loves it...actually so do I. Will this exhaust system you have fit it, and make it sound throatier? What complications are involved.
Sounds great but that drone would be old after about a day of driving. I can't stand drone, i'll bet it was headache inducing too. Not great for passengers either, it cheapens the experience.
Agree on drone. Was annoying. Don't hate on me, but I changed back to OEM because the wife claimed the neighbors were complaining (which was part of the original attraction). But, the drone was not great. Now, one of my neighbors has the Ford 150 Shelby pick-up which wakes up the neighborhood anyway!
Sounds great! I've been looking at every stinkin' exhaust I can find for the Cayenne and this is up there as one of the best sounding. I've used FM mufflers in the past, but only on Mustangs. Did you do the work or have a shop do it, and do you have the secondary Cat bypass?
Man this is the best sounding V8 Cayenne I've ever heard in my entire life. Upload more videos please
Imad TT
Sounds the same as mine to me 😂
iVlogBuzz What's the set-up n yours?
I just have K&N panel filters and the factory sports exhaust, maybe I should do some tests!
We all love V8 noise - right XD
iVlogBuzz Sounds beautiful man. Enjoy it. Even though the gas mileage is bad, isn't it?

I agree
Fact Check: ✅ True.

Wow the tone is really nice in the higher revs
Sounds pretty good. Makes me want to try out a Blackwidow Venom muffler because of no drone in their mufflers
Music to my ears
which flowmaster did you buy and install? any link?
Nice sound. Fast I like it.
Smokes good bore score signs
Does it add any extra horsepower
Be sure to drain your bulkhead on that, it prevents a lot of problems.

Clear the bulkhead drain as the A/C drains to the same location. I have a video in my Porsche Tech playlist that could help.
Tx for that. Can you post that link?

@@balthazarbratt8194 I agree, you can never produce the sound of an 8 cylinder!!
Holy shit that sounds nice as fuck
I have a 2005 Cayenne, and what exactly did you have done to the car
Id be interested in knowing too.
Sounds great but that drone would be old after about a day of driving. I can't stand drone, i'll bet it was headache inducing too. Not great for passengers either, it cheapens the experience.

Had it done for about 200 bucks. No bypass. Pretty loud as is.
