Can you try and play Onrush?
More midnight club 2 yea.
Ok👍👍👍

Bro iam from india in tamilnadu do u like tamilans
This game's soundtrack is literally the reason I became a musician and got into DIY synths.
Love me some 303's
@LykanPrototype Mine is Blue Owl by Art of Trance.
Ur Channel issa Vibe
Same! This game was my first real experience with electronic music, and looking back, it's probably the reason I became obsessed with synths as well. Glad to know I'm not the only one!
This game is responsible for my obsession with French house. Whoever gave the idea of adding some songs from Roulé deserves a raise.
Fun fact for GTA bois: the guy who voiced Savo also voiced Ray Bulgarin from Ballad of Gay Tony.
And original GTA 4 too?
Interesting
Bruh man said Bulgarin Ballad of Gay Tony like he wasn't a huge part of the GTA 4 storyline
Also the girl who voiced Gina also voiced Amy Sheckenhausen from GTA Vice City.
(Amy Sheckenhausen is the host of the radio station in GTA Vice City called K-Chat)
bruh
It was never really a clone, if anything Underground copied Midnight Club 1. But in the end who cares, both Underground and MC2 are classics!
Amen brother. Both are in their distintive side. UG focused more on the tunning side and MC2 focused more on the vibes and the atmoshphere
@@altrd_mango MC2 focused more on being batshit insane with its driving and map design.
True. Midnight Club 2 had it own way of doing things and focusing on a true free roam racer and UG had it's own way of being a racer with being able to customize your cars. To call MC2 a Underground clone is unreal bc MC2 came out in April and UG in November of 2003
@ferronway yea, it was close circuit but ofc NFS UG2 & Carbon took the open world approach. I commend MC for being open world from the very start with the first game and its Midtown Madness series roots.
They didn't copy another, street racing and another customisation were things people did irl
I kinda miss fictional cars in games. I just loved when devs went crazy on the designs and made a weird looking spaceship with wheels that sounds like a jetplane. It's kinda charming
And had some proper damages as well as tuning.
Well none of the "fictional" cars in midnight club 2 are crazy, they're just real cars (jettas, RX7s, integras, etc) with aftermarket parts
My first Midnight Club, still a guilty pleasure in my book.
YOU ARE EVERYWHERE
Midnight club 3 looking so more beautiful better.
The Midnight club Ghost is here
I watched my mom and dad play the first and second midnight club, and then I was introduced to the third one, having the first win on my first try.
Guilty pleasure? Its the best midnight club game.
Midnight club 2 was such a huge part of my childhood. I still have the old strategy guide for it. It's amazing.
This game probably the most brutal Midnight Club with lots of different route you can imagine with pure discovery and action in each city
Also amazing Soundtrack of Hip-Hop as well Some kickin' ass trance music race around L.A,Paris, and of course Tokyo
I didn't played the game myself for the sake of preserving my sanity, but I vaguely thought it was that difficult unless you are Reiji, in which I saw some Brazilian youtuber rages so hard he broke his controller out of anger of losing on this game
@@adlibbed2138 He's really godly (Reiji)
He even make even harder by using cheat "howhardcanitbe9" to make game harder
Also,Savo 3rd race
@@Mx64MaxyImpress I remember watching that guy's earlier videos as a kid that he played Midnight Club 3 without even firing up a single nitrous, and that was back in the early days of YT before PewDiePie, that we had ISuckAtDriving we're even a thing (formerly known as MySisterWasGateR***d, had to censored that name to dodge the potential YT's shadowban)
@@adlibbed2138 His actual nickname was "pinkslipracers" (I guess) which was back around before 2010s
This game made me so mad I couldn't beat the final boss as a kid. I opened the ps2 disk tray and broke the game off inside of it. Now.i play the game on the hardest setting
Imagine thinking MC2 was an underground clone.
Midnight Club 2 was released before nfs underground
@@eevee5jdm483 Yeah that's the point. Sorry if it sounded like I meant the other way around.
100th like.
MC2 is a clone of Midtown Madness for me.
@@Cykelpump33 maybe bc it was also made by Angel Studios, lol.
Totally disagree with the title. MC had its own flavor of street racing imo.
I agree and respect your opinion.
True
Lmao such a controversial title, it had to be changed
I disagree and disrespect you opinion.
More arcade and more past paced I agree
That title gives me cancer, sorry Kuro but that is just wrong.
I love Kuru's content, but you're right dude
I first was believing this was a bootleg midnight club la complete edition because i was unable to actually see that it is a midnight club game..
Still i wasnt wrong tho lmao
@@altrd_mango Armando paga la pensión
Hah, you even don't heard about Lada Racing Club
Agreed
" You can never buy again. "
Torrent Users : "You underestimate my power. "
I am also an torrent user from russia
U can search midnight club 2 pc iso and easily find a direct download with patches cause rockstar dosent care about the franchise at all
Who needs that shit when I got it on OG Xbox
Midnight Club 2 is much more than just a NFS Underground Clone, it introduced a lot of mechanics that would be used in MC3, also the fact it has 3 cities and lots of content to unlock.
Need for Speed Underground is the real clone Here.
The fact is it even released few months before Underground 1, as well as the first game Midnight Club Street Racing being a launch title for PS 2, plus it being much more arcadey than the entire NFS siers [bar prob NFS 2 and Nitro]
Yeah, but NFS was an established racing game brand by then... Also NFSU came out just a bit after MC, both companies have been creating a street racing game at the same time. SO I guess your argument is invalid.
Midnight Club 2 never copied Underground, was released months before the first Underground.
"NFSU clone". NFSU launched months after Midnight Club 2! ( NFSU - November 2003; MC2 - April 2003 )
And before that, MC Street Racing, and before that, Midtown Madness games, and even before that... Streets of simcity... couldn't think of the last one.
@1:50 I've always thought those traffic cars were having their own street race down in the sewers.
They are! It's an Easter Egg, and apparently a reference to "Grease".
Fun fact midnight club came out before the underground series and was highly regarded as the first street racing game
Kuru: You can never buy again.
Pirates: Hahahaha funny guy.
I am also a pirate too cuz i from russia and there is no anti piracy
@@DXXMGUY2024 chad Russia vs virgin west
@@supermaster2012 hahaha funni boi
The best racing game ever made. I finished it like hundred times and still enjoy it after all those years.
'Underground Clone', BRUH. Who wrote this title?!?!
It a troll title and hey Alex if you the real one.
It got changed LUL
@@bitelaserkhalif Still a troll title
@@lycanthrochick At least this one's more accurate, because you can't buy the PC version of MCII (Despite it still being on Steam...?)
@@GoredonTheDestroyer Got taken off Steam unfortunately
5:53 - "Denuvo is necessary for games to be released on PC" now that's a stupid take if I've ever seen one.
I think its meant as a joke like 'every new game must have this shit', which, kinda is somewhat in truth how it happens that denuvo does plague alot of stuff.
i agree , up to a point that it sometimes slows down the game
This is the hardest racing game I've ever played but I still love it.
Btw this game isn't really a clone of underground cuz it came out before that game.
He's just trolling
@@darknova1552 Not really a good troll to be honest.
7:50
UFO PORRRRNOOOO
Torille!
whoever made the title needs to rethink it a bit. just saying
This game changed my life, my music taste and my nerve system.
The Midnight Club series was NfS was too afraid to be, and it's main problem was that at times it was just too hard and frustrating, which also made it rewarding and fun at the same time, it's one of those game which you love and hate at the same time.
not rlly.. nfs is about tuning.. mcl started with tuning later on in its series. nfs has no real street racing, the traffic is way too forgiving, but the cops are better in nfs.
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. Nfs is a braindead arcade racer with barriers for 5yr old kids. mcl is an open street racer.
Fun fact the lead designer of this game got Oscar for his work in James Cameron's Avatar.
I remembered this game was too hard when i was a kid so i set my graphics higher than my pc can handle and the game slowed down a little bit and it was perfect
Considering how common PS2 piracy was, it was certainly not the reason why MC3 didn't come out on PC. Most likely, this was due to platform porting costs and exclusivity deals. By no means is a pirated copy a lost sale, so missing out on a platform either means there was no interest from the start, or something else compensated the loss. It's just that it's easy to blame piracy for a flop, as there is hardly any way to justify otherwise.
I like more what Rockstar did designing these cars compared to what they did 20 years after in their current GTA game
The Main menu sound effects and the ost of this game idk but it had aomething magic to it haha
Who knew what game this was just from the thumbnail? "Who doesn't?". Lol
this game, with midnight club 3, made my entire childhood. MNC 2 is such an underestimated game
00:02 That's the calmest "What?!" I've ever heard
Dude Midnight Club is a fucking pioneer, its basically the grand daddy of underground street racing game
I remember when I use to use the Citi (Moses' car) from the beginning of LA to the end of Paris. Using it in Paris was so much fun but then became out challenged by Tokyo cars.
Kuru: You can never buy this game again
Me: **finds 24 copies for sale on Amazon**
I've got this game somewhere,
I feel so lucky that I have this historic masterpeice of the very early 2000s and showing the beautiful ricers of the time
This games soundtrack was ridiculous. One of the best of its era
"This looks like the scout from Team Fortress (2)." I heard his "BOINK" in my mind at that moment.
“You can never buy again”
Me with a Playstation 2/Original Xbox emulator: Laugh.mp3
This game even on PC
This game is even more fun with cheat codes... You can have an automatic RPG and a machine gun attached into your car (used with horn and high beam)... I spent 2 full years playing this game, bought it randomly as a kid and never regretted that :D So much fun!
Had this on PS2. Best times of my childhood, remembering getting stuck in Tokyo. Damn.
But i am being stuck only at paris
I fucking love this game!
Except for customization they did the rest so well
The cities, the atmosphere, gameplay and of course the Killer music
the first midnight club game came out years before underground and fast and furious
7:49 got me thinking about whether I'm watching Kuru or Vargskelethor Joel
how the hell is it a nfs underground clone if it was released before nfs underground?????????????
It a troll
My most favorite Midnight Club game in the series
Steam: You will never going to get this game again!
PS2/XBOX gamers: hold my physical copy!
I have a physical CD copy of this.
Both CDs, because that's how it worked back in the day.
It's still a lotta fun playing, Savo is a real challenge.
Btw, you can cheese LA and Paris by doing the car unlock races in Arcade mode (after using the unlockallcars cheat to make it significantly easier) and you'll get a few unlocked in Career mode, for whatever reason.
This works on the Fripon, Stadt, Victory, Lusso XT, uhhh there was one or 2 more but I can't remember them.
I like how they used tokyo in 3 titles and they're all enjoyable
7:01 That's what i always do after i finished the game such pure nostalgia.
The tracks and layout as well as how the cars behaved in this game, always gave me Midtown Madness vibes
oh man i have so many memorys with this game
This game is sooo nostalgic from my childhood. I always found it so hard but so fun to just drive around and explore the city
This game now just feels like all Rockstar did what making another version of Midtown Madness 2 and sell it in another name. It's also a bit cheap how they just recycled the sound designs, pedestrians actions, finish line scenes and the physics.. Am sorry, but i think everyone lives in sweet nostalgia with this one.
Keep whining lol
I love how nitro works in midnight club games Great amount of boost. Such fun game to play.
7:02 npc gets sent flying
The only one out of the series that I played, and I want to return to it again
I love midnight club I have played this game soo much
Edit: 1:52 that's not traffic those are people who were having a picnic
This game is the reason for my life, and my RUclips username.
I just rebought all the midnight clubs recently man, 2 copies each for the games 1 digital other disc.
People: Mc2 is a nfsu clone
Midnight club 1: am I a joke to you ?
The reason for no pc release is not piracy.
The reason is the additional effort required for less sales and revenue than on consoles.
Also consoles are easier to set up, especially when you're using a tv, so they even reach the lowest hanging fruit.
That doesn't mean that console gamers are dumb of course.
Also Denuvo isn't working very well against piracy nowadays.
It was in the beginning (which didn't lead to more sales), but nowadays not so much.
It is mainly useful as an anti tampering tool, which allows them to add bs like micro transactions in single player games.
They might say that it's piracy, but that's just a scapegoat.
Have you ever heard the vanishing point. If you looking for old racing games you must play that game
Midnight club 2 is the best racing game of all time no cap second is need for speed most onetid.
Rubberbanding back with a vengeance.
Midnight Club 2 is one of the first Games I played ever. Thanks I got it on Steam and my PS2. I Love that Game. Specially that Soundtrack
this was my first racing game!!!
Midnight Club is the OG!
That title has GOTTA be clickbait, well played Kuru 🤣🤣👍🏽
I remember playing this on PC, I also remembered how many characters had cross-eye
This game is really hard, I could never get past the 5th race
Burnout 3
Mostwanted
Midnightclub 3 remix

I grew up with mc3 but I never played the first 2 I went to my local flea market and picked up a copy of mc2 I can’t wait to play it
Kuru really needs to play Midnight Outlaw Six Hours To Sunup
its not even nfs clone jesus
Thanks Kuru for checking my video out. :)
2:05 is absolutely legendary
Im 100% sure this game was on my steam wishlist. Im almost sure you can still buy this game.
I notice the PSP version of midnight club LA it's midnight club 2 but with the cars and tunning of MCLA. And has extra dialog for the races in Tokyo
as a kid i never knew the Rimbuk cheat code was a Batmobile
Love this game.
Still have it for PS2 and the disc still reads 😎 but man is it fucking hard
7:34 Oppressor MKII of 2000s
Every time I think about R* not doing anything at all with this series I die a little on the inside.
"The Lost NFS Underground clone you NEVER buy again!"
> It's Midnight Club 2
> Not really comparable to NFSU
I thought you were better than this Kuru
(Edit: I have checked steam and, yeah, you can't buy it now.)
Midnight club 2 release date: April 9th, 2003
Need For Speed Underground release date: November 17th, 2003
Not only was he wrong, but MC2 literally came out first
You can get this game on oldgames. You can also find other racing games there
Had this for PSP and lost the disc. Thanks for the nostalgia 🚰
*PS2, this game doesn't had a PSP port.
Holy shit the racing on this game seems soo good and fun that you don't even care too much about graphics... please Rockstar bring Midnight Club back...
it's the gameplay, and graphics aren't bad though
I was waiting for this for alooooong time dude
best racing game, got it on cd haha
I still have the retail version of this :D
Ah MC2, the time when i don't know what actually R3 button
This was my childhood
bro was like HEHEHEHEH the whole time lol
1:11 what you on about? early nfs games literally used to restrict you by applying those arrows on every exit and used to restrict the path to make sort of like a track
That cut off at the start of the video made me laugh too hard
I SAID RI-
Fuck me, MC series are mega-good ngl.
The clone that came out before the game it copied
Yeah, sounds about right
5:07
thats my favourite song
I know your title is just a joke to tilt MC fans..... AND IT'S WORKING!!!!!!
Seeing as he changed it, starting to think it wasn't a joke
