That rack is sexy as hell. Got one second hand that I have to fab up the rear bracket for. Looking forward to rocking this thing

Nice video! I have a JLUR and went with the Rhino Rack Pioneer.

Great videos! Pulled a lot of inspiration from your build.
Mind helping me out with the aluminum piece you homemade to mount your 4 round lights?
Where'd you pick up the aluminum material. Also, what gauge or thickness is it? Do you experience any rattling?

Thank you. I ordered a 12 by 12 inch with 1/4 inch thickness from Amazon. It was enough for the four plates. No rattles or any issue. I do have a video on it on my channel that you can reference. I’m very happy with it.

If you had to buy the Gobi again would you get the one with the pivot arms or the fixed one without the pivot capability? I’m about to order one for my Bronco and trying to decide

I think with the pivot arm you mean the quick release so you can tilt the rack backward for say changing hard top or something? If so I have that option but never used it/installed it. I’m primarily using it for overlanding and it stays loaded year round. So t get it initially as you can always order that if you feel the need for it.

@@OverlandPlus you’ve never had to lift the rack up? It can be lifted with or without the quick release as long as it has the pivot arms that extend down to the bottom bumper. They have ones now that don’t do that and attach to the back panel of the hard top for the Bronco now so deciding btwn the two

@@RebeccaTiffany1 oh okay I see what you mean now. Mine does have the pivot arm as it’s attached to the back. And yea I never had to tilt the rack back, not even once.

Can you show how you got the snorkel to fit?

Here is the link for how i installed the snorkel. One trick, I used clamps with A-pillars and snorkel to screw it in place. ruclips.net/video/kWrJZmsgWO0/видео.htmlsi=OQgWISh3GEZ7za37

Thank you very much. I love the look of your jeep. I’m ordering a gobi soon.

I saw another RUclips video that said the rack dented their jeep in the back where it rests on the back of the car, have you noticed anything? I guess you probably wouldn’t know until you take it odd
