I am not sure why, but your tutorial helps explain to me what the other tutorials are talking about. I watched about 5-6 other tutorials before yours and didn't get what they were doing. I guess it helps that you explain all your moves and why you make them while the other tutorials will just say something without explaining and then proceed doing the moves quickly. Kudos to you for helping me solve the 4x4 cube for the first time.
HI, Noah!!! So far, following your tutorials, I have learned to solve the 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4. There is only one that is left out. Will you do a 5x5 tutorial? Thanks in advance!
At first I saw the length of the video and freaked, but when I saw it was in segments and it was easy to find which part I needed, I can now solve the 4x4x4 Rubik's revenge
I finally solved the revenge after giving up on it 10 years ago. I learned to solve a 3x3 cube untraditionally about 25 years ago. I solve a 3x3 different than any instructional video I have ever watched. My son brought me his triangle cube to solve and after figuring it out, I looked over at my extensive collection of cubes where my revenge cube gave me the evil eye. I finally realized I had to get the centers solved and then I would likely treat it just like a 3x3. I did some googling and came across your video. I was able to use your detailed tutorial to solve the centers and then the sides. Once there I went backed to my move sets to finish. Thank you. My son is 9, the same age I learned and I have been wanting to teach him just like my dad did me. Your amazing tutorial with this 4x4 has given me confidence that he can easily learn the 3x3 if we follow along with your 3x3 tutorial. Seriously thank you for taking the time to make this video and for your clear and concise instructions.
I searched for it last year, around March and April. I was really bored that time. I, again searched for it for the 5th time this day. Thank you for this. I just learned it for about 2-3 days and just recalling them now somehow. Thank you again!
After looking at about 6 other videos, i have to say this is the best. He took his time showing the moves and not speeding through them to show how fast he was. Knowing the 2x2 helps get the first part but I needed help pairing edges that didn't match up. After that it's basically a 3x3
Yay! I've watched this for days and days and I've completed my sons 4x4 cube. He's away in Holland at the moment so I've just put it back in his room in the same place but completed now! It will be so funny to see his confused face when he sees it because he's never completed it even though he's very fast at the 3x3 cube!
@@redreaction4735 it was great! He was shocked that it was done and noticed it straight away when he went in his room.... however, He has to go one better, it has spurred him on to complete it himself. He has been working on it for 4 months now since his return from Holland and he won’t watch any videos on how to do it he has to work it out himself. He now has the top and bottom faces completed and just one square wrong on the other four. So very nearly done. He’s just not getting the last finishing moves in to complete it just yet.
6 years ago I solved the 3x3 with your other tutorial. Now, I've come back for the next challenge after getting back into cubing, thank you for making these.
I really appreciate that you don't have a super slick cube and that you're not flicking all the faces into position. "Tutorials" that do that don't deserve the name and have little interest in teaching their viewers. This was easy to follow, thank you!
Hey thanks man, got my first solve all by myself after having watched this several times and taking notes. I’m a sub 3min right now and just want to give a sincere bit of gratitude as my unofficial tutor on the 4x4 in my cubing journey.
That's great man, I wish you the best! Just keep on taking notes from various of cubers as you'll learn new methods and tricks. I really appreciate your comment and I'm looking forward to see where you end up! Feel free to join my Discord and keep me posted! discord.gg/beWbCwDf

Hi. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate this man for taking out time to make videos for us. Thanks to him, I learned how to solve a 4 by 4. Thank you ❤
Thanks Noah for the deliberately slow description of the method It really helps. It shows that you really wanted to explain it rather than show how quick you are. 🙏
I watched, learned, and liked on all your tutorials but the 2x2 cause I do not have one. And my parents won't let me because I have a 3x3 and Im getting A 4x4 Soon (What the heck is taking so long Amazon?!). I learned it and I am extremely Happy from your tutorials and I think it's time I sub.
Daniel Oh Aw, well I'm glad your parents let you get the 4x4!! Hopefully they'll realize how amazing you are at solving the Rubik's Cube and get you a 2x2! :o) Thanks for watching my videos and for the sub! If you have any questions, let me know!
Nah, They think the 2x2 is not hard and it's not challenging. I said, why do you say it's not hard if you cannot do it. lol. At my church, some guy let me use his 2x2 and I solved it without any help. They have a point of "No Challenge"
@@noahthecubeguy sir I don't know why but my fish and then when I solve fish my like the place where all yellow is done except for two corners that comes and it is endlessly repeating plzzz help
most guides tell you to solve the disoriented yellow sides at the end but doing it as the second to last step was brilliant. i just solved it without directions after memorizing your move (with a little luck of course). subscribed and thank you!
Tip for y’all: The algorithms that don’t require the middle 2 rows/columns can be practiced on a 3x3 cube, and lets you get a feel for them without potentially ruining your work.
Hey umm I need help with something . I’m at the last step, I’ve got all the yellow corners but I have a case which is different to everything HES showing. One side is completely filled and then 3 sides only have one piece wrong, is my cube h solveable?

@CodeNet YT ya. I do habe trouble sometimes at the end tho. Im on the last corner pieces and they never match up sometimes. Im like ok... guess i got a parity earlier on and didnt see it lol
This was probably the best tutorial all across RUclips, you explain every step in such detail that even a person that has never solved a cube before can understand, 10 out 10 from me. Good job!
All the other videos are too fast, and I agree, you are going step by step even if the video takes a long time. I a cube tutorial is more than an hour, and the RUclips channel is yours, I'll definitely watch it, no matter how much time it takes
I learn how to solve the standard cube when I was in sixth grade and it’s been a while since I tried to learn other rubik type... Once I got this type of rubik cube, I will probably start learning this.
Thanks for this tutorial i know how to solve it this dude explains the cube and the processes step by step even tho i got so many parities i still managed to solve it because of him, thanks for the explanation and props to you dude, also continue to do this
This is definitely the best 4x4 explanation that we found. Thank you so much for being so thorough. Most videos just show but don't tell. My 6 year old thanks you. 😁
I have just solved my 4x4 for the first time thank you so much for this detailed tutorial ❤❤ your explanation was so easy to understand🥺👍🏼 you have gained another sub ✨
Aw thanks so much! I appreciate that. I'm glad my video was able to help you. Feel free to join my Discord to chat or post cube photos :) discord.gg/R2K5Dq36tm
Noah... This is a great video. So nice to see someone who is truly interested in helping people solve the cube as opposed to showing off how fast they can manipulate the cube. Your voice is calming, your videos are very well put together and your explanations are easy to follow. Thanks for helping me keep the fun in "rubriking".
you could i just did in 8 hours after 3x3 just to know there is more algorythms than 3x3 so it get kinda hard to think but then you have parrity that f everything up.. its hard to understand but when you understand its just difficult thats all i am sitting here now 1hour in searching what to do bc i got parrity with 2 corners that has each other corners.. i am sweating... good luck
After you did all the edges you can do it normally but just need to do 2 algorithms for doing the the last step for edges and for the doing the yellow side for the half plus hope this helps good luck
I solved it once but I'm not sure if i can do it again as i haven't even seen what the parity is for the last layer and i couldn't get the yellow side parity algorithm to work
Very nice video and very very very clearly understood each and every step.....just keep on making such videos.....a video on 5×5 will help me alot....👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
awesome bro just now solved my 4x4 for the first time but this method will only be easy for the F2l users(only for the last layer) i solved my last layer using the begginers method which I used for 3x3 also teach the other method(begginers) so it would be easy for the begginers other than this no worries best tutoria hats off Noah
When I was a kid, we didn't have youtube to learn this. Now watching a video I can solves 3x3, and this one is tempting me to buy a 4x4 as the steps seems just as easy.

Omg the last step was scaring me so much. I watched the entire part first to make sure I watched the right parity so I would know what algorithm to use. And I did the correct algorithms I’m 99% sure and it just wasn’t working so after about 5 tries it finally worked 😅
I have struggled just with the two adjacent edge pieces. I was also able to resolve that using the algorithm @39:03. Thank you! As I saw my friend solve the 3x3 puzzle, I began to become interested in it. Now, I can solve 2x2 (intermediate level, solving in 30 seconds), 3x3 (intermediate level, solving in 2 minutes), 4x4 and 5x5 with beginner-level speed, easily within 3 to 4 minutes each. Practicing the advanced level algorithms for 3x3. All the best y'all.
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it's so straight forward and I really liked how you said simple terms like "right, up counter clockwise" instead of just R, U prime. As a beginner, it's so hard for me to connect the terminologies with the movement, and your plain language really helped.

Kudos to you for helping me solve the 4x4 cube for the first time.
This is great, thanks so much I appreciate it! Thanks for watching and congrats :)
HI, Noah!!! So far, following your tutorials, I have learned to solve the 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4. There is only one that is left out. Will you do a 5x5 tutorial? Thanks in advance!

DJTMoney honestly the only thing you need to know on 5x5 is the centres and last 2 edges.

Say u are black belt in rubiks cube 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Let's just say Rubik got his revenge on me.

It will be so funny to see his confused face when he sees it because he's never completed it even though he's very fast at the 3x3 cube!
How'd the surprise go?
@@redreaction4735 it was great!
He was shocked that it was done and noticed it straight away when he went in his room.... however,
He has to go one better, it has spurred him on to complete it himself. He has been working on it for 4 months now since his return from Holland and he won’t watch any videos on how to do it he has to work it out himself. He now has the top and bottom faces completed and just one square wrong on the other four. So very nearly done. He’s just not getting the last finishing moves in to complete it just yet.
