My Story was my HP printer C5550, I turned it on last week, and it made a bunch of Horrible sounds coming out of the right side. The light started blinking, and the Error message read “Clear Cartridge Jam”.
After hours trying to fix it. Unplugging it Completely, trying to Align the Cartridge, by pressing certain keys at the same time. I gave up.
I started doing research on the best home printer to buy. Which only Confused me more.
There were so many to choose from with Pros and Cons, after reading so many reviews. They mention checking out a Cannon Pixma.
I looked on E bay, Costco, Target, and Walmart, and finally realizing there’s just too many Choices, got more confused. Did nothing for a week. Even tried starting the Old HP to see if it healed itself, with no luck.
My good friend started sending me texts on Printers for sale. He took a picture of a display one at Walmart with a low price of 36.62.
It was 7p.m, I drove downtown to Walmart, but when I got there. They only had the Display one, no inventory ☹️.
I paced back and forth looking at all the Printers for Sale. A variety of Cannon, HP, and Epson. Back to Square one!
Decisions, decisions, DeCisioNs?? Not my strong point when I know nothing about them.
Finally after a half hour or so, I went up one model. Which was only 10.00 more. Reasoned it’s under 50.00, why fret? It’s cheaper than a bag of groceries.
I know better than to try to set it up by myself.
There you were on You Tube, calm, explaining Step by step how to set it up.

Trying to fix or repair a printer that has a hardware problem is normally not worth the time, money and effort. In my opinion, most of the time it's better to just go ahead and buy a new one these days. They are much more reasonably priced then they were a few years ago.

I don’t have a laptop, so I have to use my phone. Every time I turn off my printer, I have to re-setup on my phone. I have to turn off “auto-join” with my wifi so my phone will pull up the printer, click that, and then go back to app, wait for it to detect it, and then it says I’m not connected to “my wifi”, because I had to connect to the printer, so I join my wifi again and it will either connect or say a printer wasn’t detected and I have to start over. I thought this was going to be more of a Bluetooth thing, but it’s a lot more complicated.

If I want to connect a second laptop to the printer wirelessly, do I need to run the set up on canon website for the second laptop as well? Thank you
In order to print from a different laptop computer, just install the Canon printer driver in 2nd laptop.

No you don't need to go through the wireless setup again as shown in my video on other computers. You will be able to print from other computers using the print driver that Microsoft Windows will automatically install for you once it sees the Canon printer on your network.

Great video, I’m using a MacBook Air and I have completed setup but when I try to print, an error message pops up on the printer (the little triangle icon right above “black ink, color ink” I was able to print fine from my phone but I also want to be able to print from the computer......any suggestions?

Do you know how to print a letter size copy on Canon TS3522? No matter what setting I pick on the printer LED the largest I get is 5x7?
Most likely your Standard paper size has been changed (for some reason) in your Printing Preferences within Windows. Go into your Control Panel or go into Windows settings > Printer and Devices > go down to Printers > right click your TS3322 printer to open menu > click on Printing Preferences > change paper size and click apply.

My printer was not found when the software searched for it, I fixed this by going to my router control panel online by putting the default gateway in my internet url.. if you need help finding your default gateway on windows type "cmd" in the run bar then in the command prompt search "ipconfig".. once on your routers website (username usually admin and password is 'password' or 'admin'.) i found in the advance settings "WPS wizard and found the printers wps code on the network configuration sheet it printed out for me. once it starts searching for a wps device go on the printer and click the little button with tools on it and go up to number 10 on the printer screen then press start on the printer. The router WPS finder then found and connected the printer and the software was then able to detect it as well. This might have been poorly explained but i hope it helps others.

I'm doing it from my smartphone and when I print it prints into a small corner I changed the size to 8.5 x 11 as the regular sheet of paper and on the printing app it says 4103 and that my printer doesnt support it???

Hi. Right now I'm hating this printer. I can't get it to connect to my Chromebook although it said it couldn't but it finally did. Not completely though. It's on my phone but not the way it's suppose to by Bluetooth. Just the app. What is that USB in the back for? It doesn't fit any USB cord I have. Is it for an HDMI (although that seems silly right?)? I'm just fed up with this thing and I waited too late to be able to return it. Thanks for your video though and hopefully your response.
1) The port on the back is used for a "USB Printer Cable" when not using WiFi mostly on Windows laptops/computer devices. 2) When printing from Chromebooks you don't use Windows print drivers or USB printer port, you will need to use Google Cloud Print for printers and the Canon TS3322 wireless printer supports Cloud printing.
when I turn mine on it says E. 0 .4 and I cannot get it to 0 .
Here's what error code E.0.4 means you have: 1) a bad ink cartridge. 2) ink cartridge/s are not inserted/seated in their ink slots correctly. 3) some packaging tape/wrapper was left on the ink cartridge when you inserted them into the ink slots. 4) incompatible ink cartridge/s support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART174897

On average the standard ink cartridge will probably last more or less around 210 - 230 pages using plain paper print settings with multipurpose paper.

I'm getting an error of E1 on the screen , what could be? I did change the black ink that was empty
You can get E1 error when ink cartridge is empty or ink cartridge is not the correct one (wrong part number) or when the ink cartridge is not seated correctly in ink cartridge slot or print head is dirty and needs to be cleaned by Canon software maintenance unity. Hey everything went well for me but it brings up the hp print + jetadvantage window and won't load a preview of what I can print?? Know what I can do
Suggestion: If you have a HP print driver and utilities installed on your computer/laptop and you don't have a HP printer or don't need to print to a HP printer, try uninstalling them. Then try to print to the Canon TS3322 again.

Great video and all, but why didn't you use the little antenna button on the printer? I followed the instructions in the manual and I keep getting Error code 36. ARRGHH!
Your printer might not have been close enough to your wifi router/modem during the setup procedure. This will sometimes give you Error Code 36. Here's some more help: support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART167904

If you change WiFi Router/Modem or Internet Service Providers you will need to go back through the WiFi setup again.

Simple steps but I had two error messages pop up. I don't understand them either. It's telling me it cant create output file. (winzip self- extractor then the error behind this box says I have to click unzip but it doesn't let me due to the first error box on top of it? ahhh idk what to do.
1) You need to be an "Admin User" of your computer to download and install software driver files. 2) You might be having an issue with unzipping files on your computer. If you are using WinZip app you might need to uninstall it, download and install WinZip again. Then go through the steps again to setup your printer. 3) Suggest for some links to possible other solutions, do a Google search using keywords: can't create output file winzip self-extractor
Can you use the app to set up the WiFi connections? In other words is a computer even necessary if the documents you want to print are on your iPhone?
Yes, you can use the Canon Print app from Android Google Play or iPhone App Store to connect, setup and print with your smartphone to the TS3322.
My printer LCD screen shows B5 for paper size. Need to change to A4. Went to settings and changed but it will not change on the screen. copy's only part of document. Can you help?

Chromebooks use "Google Cloud Print" to print to printers. Both phone and printer need to be on wireless/wifi network for phone to print to TS3322 printer.
Just wanted to ask have you tried printing it with high quality image using a photo paper or thick A4 (300gsm)? Or sticker paper? Or is it just good for document prints?
Different paper types work good. Printing a high quality image using high quality photo paper turns out pretty good. But keep in mind you will end up using a ton of your ink very fast and it's not going to look like a color print image from a $3000 printer.

Not all Apps support AirPrint. Check your App info to make sure it supports AirPrint printing. support.apple.com/en-us/HT201387
My printer keeps printing lines on everything, i used to cleaning settings and cleaned it manually, any advice?
Might be a bad ink cartridge or print head might still be dirty. The print head can also become clogged and dried out over time, if the printer has been left unused for a long time.

You can use a USB printer cable connection, instead of a WiFi connection.

I'm trying to get it to print an 8x10 color photo, but I keep getting an 4102 error code. My paper size is 8 1/2 x 11, but I get the error code every time. Is it restricted to 5x7 for color prints?
I believe it's limited for photo prints: For Windows devices - 4"x 6" (10x15 cm) or 5"x7" (13x18 cm) For Mac devices - 4 x 6, or 5x7

1) It should have worked nicely for you. I performed the wireless setup numerous times while making this video. It work every time. Try powering off and on printer, laptop, router/modem. And give it another try after a few minutes. or 2) Question: Did you give the @7:30 "Alternative Methods" button a try?

Nick, any idea how to get this to stop going into power save mode. I have to continually go and turn the printer on first before printing.
I thought there was some sort of Auto on feature that would turn on when I hit print. I don't know how to turn the power save off. I Googled it and it says to hit the setup button 14 times but I don't know which button is the setup button.
Go to Windows 10 Search on Task Bar > type Control Panel and click on it in list> click Devices and Printers category > under Printers category, right click on Canon TS3300 Series> on Canon TS3300 series Properties windows, click on Maintenance tab> then click on Maintenance and Preferences> click on Auto Power category> then make Power Saver adjustments.

Do you have a troubleshooting video for this printer? Mine does not print out the full page. It prints maybe half or less and fades
Suggestions: 1) Check to see if the ink cartridges are empty or low ink? 2) The ink cartridges might be clogged or dryed out? Could be time to replace them. 3) Double check you print settings. 4) You could have a print nozzle issue like the nozzles are clogged, try printing a nozzle check pattern to see if any of the nozzles are clogged. 5) You might need to clean the print head.

Yes, I'm using wireless to print.
The printer was a bit complicated to hook up ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

Yes, the desktop computer would be connected via USB. And the laptop would use WiFi.
Please help! I made it 5 minutes into this video and my computer doesn't show the red download option. What do i need to do?
1) Are you a "Admin User" of your computer/laptop? You will need to be an Admin User in order to download to your computer. 2) Is your computer/laptop running Windows or are you using a Chromebook? It needs to be Windows in order to download and install a Windows printer driver. Chromebooks use Airprint.

You will see the steps to reset your Canon printer wifi, if you go to Google and type in keywords : reset canon printer wifi

this was very useful but the problem i’m having is that when i print a photo and it has the color black in it, it starts to print faint black horizontal lines on it. i have no idea on how to fix it ahhh
Time for new ink cartridge or print head needs to be cleaned and/or print head alignment might need to be done.

My printer is ts3522...test print good...but cant print or scan ....all black pg even color setting black
Suggest removing your color ink cart and then insert the color ink cart again. Make sure there is no plastic wrap on ink cart. Then try to print again.

How can you resize the image?. My images are coming out small when I print.
First thing to do is to take the image that you want to print larger is to make the image larger before you print it. You will need to open it up in a graphics editor like the app "Paint" that's built into Windows for free. Then you can resize it within the "Paint" app and save it as a bigger image. Very easy to do. Then print it.
Does this not print on glossy paper? I switch it to that in the settings and the error code comes up.

Yes.
I'm having issues with this. I'm trying to print a photo and the app will say printing but the printer will not do anything at all. The light will blink but nothing happens and the app says printing complete.
Suggestions: power off printer > uninstall app > power printer on again> re install app > check paper input tray to ensure paper is in place correctly > try printing a simple document first and see if that will print OK > then try to print your photo again.

Press the "Color" button on the printer prior to making a copy.

Font size is changed within the APP that you are using to print your document.

1)Try moving the printer closer to your primary wifi router/modem. 2) You might be typing in the wrong wifi password during wifi printer setup. Ensure you are using the correct wifi password.
