I’ve been loving watching your pond progress videos, it looks incredible! I am curious to know if you ever have trouble with raccoons and herons? I live on Long Island where they will snatch up koi if you don’t have a barrier net (which unfortunately ruins the aesthetic of the pond). Do you have any tips on keeping predatory wildlife out of your pond?
Depth When my fish sleep at night they will generally sit on the bottom of the pond where ever they are the racoons cant reach them that deep. I'm close to 3 feet dep for most of the shallow's and by the falls i do get to only a foot and a half. I have had smaller fish vanish on my THANKFULLY none of my larger KOI. I do know we have a monster Raccoon as i have seen the bugger . But he has not pissed me off by getting a koi i love . so i have not gone after him hopefully he can be happy with frogs and smaller fish. The vertical net seems to keep the Herron out
