THANK YOU , I have always got a little carried away with my fish even when it was a fish tank i always strived to create a eco system. My planted aquarium yearsssssss ago was pretty crazy i had a 2 foot waterfall into the top of a 90 gallon corner tank that had bird preproducing in the same area above the open planted fish tank. Contemplating another addition but i think i may be done.
People would ask when they saw them all in my pile saying what is with the tree stumps or dead limbs to them all they saw was dead wood i see character and a story
Insane, you have created art. I can only imagine what it's like sitting next to that in the evening. This is such an insane ecosystem that you have created.
As you can imagine the wife and i really don't go any where any more we have our chairs pond side , and we chill out to the sights and sounds . Thanks for the compliment
We’re just getting started & have a feeling that your channel will be a continual resource. Thanks for sharing your inspired masterpiece. Please keep posting. Question? What do you do in winter? Do you pull the pumps? 🌿
The pond ran all but two weeks last year as we had a mild winter here in the north east. I DO PULL the pump and I place it in a trash bag to keep the gaskets from drying out. I have a rather in depth post i made regarding the areas i built , why, and how the nuts and bolts are the second half of the post. www.gardenpondforum.com/showcase/honored-and-proud-to-have-been-chosen-aquascapes-diy-pond-of-the-year-for-2023-12-000-gallon-koi-pond-full-build.141/ discussion
I'M JUST UNDER 6 4:27 FEET DEEP. you only need to be a bit deeper than the ice gets thick. I recomend no less than three for a ungrounded pond. You only need to keep an area at the surface from freezing.
The pond is 6 years old I never stop tinkering. But the main story was mine was 6 years working on it when i came home from working out of town and home only one weekend a month so add it up 8 months a year work time so 16 days a year x 6 years = 96 days add in the mrs and what she felt was priority on my trips home and i got this built in about 2 months so yea i tried to give whomba some inspiration as i knew what he took on. And he too has the Mrs and a little one to DEMAND HIS TIME
Great music by the pond +1
Well done! Thanks for sharing.
Coming from a nursery , Someone who knows their plants , that's a heck of a compliment.
2nd comment. This video includes my three favorite things. Pond, fish, and pitcher plants.

Perfect!
This is honestly the best pond I’ve ever seen
Much appreciated.
Wow, this is a lot of hard work. Very impressive 👏 I put a small pond in during when covid first started. It's nothing like yours.❤

Dude that is outstanding! Well done!
Thanks @rustystork7477
How deep water in area … perhaps 4-5’? ….for the fish to survive very cold Canadian winter???

Cool video but it can’t go viral because the music will get it a copyright strike
Oh i'm not so worried about copy right and going viral. It's just me and my pond chillen enjoying the day
6 years? And you give Combat Wombat a hard time about how long his took! :) @tylertervooren
