I already have 3 google nest mini's right now, and I absolutely love them. For me, the most amazing feature is the amount of bass that comes out of such a small device!
I got my google nest mini over a month ago and I love the routine functions. Every morning and night I have my custom routines that make waking up at 4:30am so much easier. My mom isn't the most tech savvy person, so I think the broadcast function and easy use makes the product a win. She's been eyeballing my speaker!
I love that you can sync them up in cast groups so I can do chores throughout the house and listen to music seamlessly and at consistent volume without having to carry a speaker around!
I like the design built and i like to have one because its sound quality is too better and its a time saver by giving the commands, we can get to know anything which also improves our communication..please i need one in my home

Got mine for free. After watching this video understand why Google is doing it. Not going to lie, thinking about getting one for the smaller rooms in my home. Works good in places like my bathroom.

I overall love Google eco system and already have several devices including a Google Home Mini. Apart from the improved sounds, Google claim that now they do audio processing mostly on the device allowing us to get faster responses. I would love to try it myself.

Yeah it sounds like you are making great use of yours! I used to have a "good morning" routine that would change my lights brightness and hue, and then tell me the weather, news, adjust my thermomstat, etc.

Initial draw to this device for most will be the improvement in sound quality, however, the ability to stream to an external bluetooth enabled device is an extremely underrated ability for this 2nd Gen upgrade. I wasn't aware of this new feature, until your video. Thanks!! In my opinion, these new features along with several others absolutely warrant upgrading from the original device. I'd love to swap out all of my Google Home Mini for the upgraded model! Great video!

I love the Bluetooth support so I can use my bigger speaker with it instead of listening to the small mini. It's good for it's size but nothing compared to a bigger setup.

Nest mini sounds clearly better than the Google mini while at Sametime, the microphone is a lot improved as it picks my voice command quick and precisely despite my African accent.

One thing I love on google assistant is the routines because it will turn what i wantbit to turn of when i leave home or go to sleep Cool to play around with as well. And also when i cant find my phone. I tell my google mini to ring my phone because it rings my phone and i find it lol
My favorite Google Assistant/Home/Nest feature is setting reminders for other home members. And since I don't have Instagram, I will now say "Hey Google, remind my wife to like Mike O'Brien on Instagram when she gets home"
Yeah the added far field mic improves things, but it is still not perfect. If I am just around a corner, I sometimes need to yell to get Google to hear me
The Mic improvements is great finally dont have to scream HEY GOOGLE (When i get one). and those bass improvements as I use google play music where I transferred my music.

I just subscribed as you suddenly appeared on my stations. I have to say you are both incredibly good looking and a nice guy. All your videos that I've watched so far have interested me. I just ordered a Fossil Carlyle and I'm going to return my Apple watch as I have both an iPhone and an Android. I'm surprised you like the Moto watch. I had two and they were both horrible but that was back in the early days, The Fossil I've had; sold it and realize this is the watch for me. I considered hybrids but no; not for me. This video is interesting as I didn't know this design has a nest a not. I have three mini's, a Sonos TV suround system which uses Google assistant and in my bedroom two stereo Apple Homepods which are fantastic. The Sonos has the best sound followed by the Apple Homepods then the mini's. I have two visual nests and one mini. I must admit I'd never listen to music on these,. They're terrible for music but assistant can't be beat for speed and accuracy when asking it a question which is not the case with Siri. I would love to see you recommend a bit more strongly probably based on use case scenario. I suspect this is difficult as there are so many solutions but I have been a writer for quite some time and base it on a benefits based anaoysisl. It works but is hard to do.

My favorite feature is the "good night" command which turns off my lights, plays relaxing sounds to sleep and sets the alarm for me.

That's a good point! There is lag, but having a louder speaker could be nice. Especially if you're playing live converts on RUclips or something
You can correct delays in the settings. I’ve done that to a couple of minis that wasn’t in sync. Try it, it might work out for yours. I hope so.

Yeah it is hard to justify replacing an old home mini, but it is definitely a good reason to get a second!
The feature that I use most is "Hey Google, Play Friends from Netflix on TV"! Very useful not having to touch my TV controller or my phone.

I also use very often the "What is the weather" feature since I live in Canada and I could freeze my ass outside if not prepared
