Really hyped for this game, however I’m not sure how I feel about the generic animations I’m seeing. I know for a fact that I’ve seen them in free app store games before (especially the wolf and deer). Otherwise, I really like what has been teased so far! My favorite model is definitely the tiger, and the fur looks really great on the pics. Excited to see where this project will go!

So if you are speaking on the wolf models, those were used to simulate mechanics . All of the new high quality models that you see in those photos have been sent out to get groomed and animated. Once they are back you will see a real trailer

I was definitely confused when I saw the nice model of the gorilla, tiger, etc, but then the odd-looking wolf, deer, and fox. Definitely hoping to see some clean new models and animations! 👍👍

It's good to know about this game! But I would temper expectations of their expected release. IF this is where they are in development now, there is no way they can release by September and have it be a good one.

Those are straight up free models and animations online…then the bear is the only thing with fur. Really cheap. Will be interesting if they add their own models with good animations, but some of those models were models from other RUclipsrs like VFX Grace so I don’t even know if this is true

Looks very promising, really looking forward to this game, awesome stuff, hope later on they add the Cuban crocodile, the Cuban crocodile is the most terrestrial species alive today, and are very fast gallopers, very agile, nimble, on land and can jump very high, and used to live in fully terrestrial ecosystems in the past in the Bahamas. Also hope they consider a Cenozoic expansion or game where you can play as Pleistocene animals form Australia, North and South America and so forth. Or even Miocene or all species from different epocs in the Cenozoic. Also hope the animals are fleshed out with unique mechanics and abilities like saltwater, nile crocs can lounge grab and drag prey in water, tigers can pounce, and leopards can climb, and so forth. Also hope they add playable freshwater giant soft shelled turtles, and common snappers, alligator snapping turtles.
Look good but with the way the anaconda moves I don't have hight hopes for the dynamic animations :/
Well it’s still early and nothing is final
As far as the anaconda goes it will be very 2D as far as gameplay. We could use snake physics but that gives too much freedom to players to just look up and float around. Once we figure out how to restrict those physics it will be more dynamic. As far as our other animals, they have all custom animations.
Can’t find anything on the internet about this but I hope this game is promising like Path of the Titans is and the Upcoming Primal Earth video game 😎👍🏾

There will be Ai and yes those models in the “gameplay” are not custom they were just used to test mechanics when they first started development. The models in the photos at 6:00 are the custom ones.
… accidentally got here from the Kotaro Otter RUclips channel… seems kinda interesting. They said something about an evolving ecosystem… if this is all mmo style multiplayer… they are probably going to have ecosystems die fast, if I were a player, I’d want to make a group to get all but one species killed off ASAP then that species dies quickly after or it’s just a boring herbivore world.

Yay, another half assed Animal Simulator/Survival game that will never be finished and/or live up to its potential. The hype is real, guys e.e
I don't have much hope for this game tbh. I reviewed the development progress and it seems messy and uncoordinated. I understand the earlier clips are cheap, premade assets, but the lack of the newer models in the actual game engine is concerning (they bought these models btw, they are not custom made), especially given the very early release date (September 2023). I would NOT donate to this game at this current point in time, unless you are entirely confident in spending your money on this project.
That aside, there doesn't seem to be much structure in what they actually *want* for this game. There isn't a whole lot of information for this game, and I've only now just found out about this game, even though it's supposedly been in development for some time. The FAQ, description, and website are lacking. To be frank, all the details I have managed to scrape up from other people and developers is inconsistent and vague. I would not expect much out of this game. However, I would love to be proved wrong (as good animal survival games are lacking) and I will continue to follow along the progress of this project.

Yes, and they continue to add more creatures to the roster everytime I check on them!
