Danni, I remember having a microwave in the early 70's. And talking about huge!! Lol Good to see Noah working (or playing?) With you. God bless you and your family. Sherry from Alabama.
Hey Danni, I started a comment in another thread but when I stopped to help my blind Granny Lu the shih tzu onto the bed it accidentally posted. It was incomplete and I can't find it anywhere so if you run across it just ignore! Just a rambling Gma! Good content.
Old teacher tip: if you write over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker, it usually comes off when you wipe it all off. Kids (or substitutes!)used to pick up a sharpie to write on the white board, and this trick took care of it. Another thing that may take the rest of the residue off is White Board Cleaner- spray bottle in teacher supply catalogs/websites and probably at office supply stores as well. Writing on the item is just as stupid as covering the markings with the price sticker. What goes through the minds of the people who decide these things??
This is Grandma from Texas. I had my first microwaved hot dog at my friends house in 1967. Most people I knew did not have one. This particular friend of mine was from a wealthy family. I remember being amazed 😉
1970's My parent both the 1st one. Dad asked me to boil eggs in it. Dad started to laugh when the eggs exploded. Thanks for the memories LOL. Never boil eggs in a microwave.
The grey mug with ER 1977 was made for the late Queen Elizabeth's 25 year anniversary of been Queen. I remember being in middle school aged 11 and sitting on the school playing field at a celebration fair. Us kiddos were given a royal navy blue leather bookmark with all the royal signatory in silver. Miss our lovely Queen.
Of all the thriftiers I watch you are the most knowledgeable on what things are. Who makes the items and how they are made. very interesting and a whole education.
lol I never thought about the girl being a skier & missing her boat. She actually fits on a beer can or any type of soda can & becomes the handle. Guys love it.
I love that you are so picky with your mugs. I got two Charlie Brown ones for gifts and they are pristine. Thank you. My legs won’t allow me to shop a lot, so it’s fun to watch you and to be able to purchase them from you. They were packed so well too. Thank you for what you do.
Oh that was so much fun! Sorry about the customer service 😢. I almost cried when you put that lidded daisy bowl back, but I would cry if it was broken in shipping. Sigh. I know you can’t get everything. So I’ll wait for you next adventure and see what you find! ❤😊
Microwaves came out the late 70s... And my parents used that same microwave up until five years ago when I made them get rid of it. It was dangerous! I gave them one that goes above the stove
That gorgeous blue to clear vase that was huge and heavy. I thrifted that vase recently and mine had the made in Poland sticker still on it and when I googled it, it’s made my Shannon crystal. I have mine priced at the average price of $50. It’s gorgeous. If it doesn’t sell I’m keeping it cause I love cobalt blue! I don’t mind shipping heavy stuff. I’ve shipped many a large and heavy items and I’ve been okay so far with arriving in one piece cause I wrap and cushion and cushion again, everything.
55:07 If we remember, we bring newspaper and boxes, because sometimes a thriftstore will not provide wrapping for glass or ceramic, and my experience has been that Not Wrapping causes Chips. Yep, got home with 3 fresh chips. 😮 we do not buy items with chips or cracks. We take all the tape off, before purchasing, to examine the item carefully, because sometimes they will hide a chip under the tape, margins are too tight to buy damaged items 😊😊😊 we learn a lot from your videos! Thank You Danny😊😊😊
Loved it all Great stuff to choose from there Glad you pick up a couple things to give new homes Lots of fun shopping Safe and fun travels!! 🇱🇷🇱🇷👍👍💜💜🌻🌻🐾🐾💕💕🐡🐡🌹🌹🐕🐕🐕👍👍🐦🐦💜💜🐬🐬💜💜🐢🐢💜💜🌹🌹💕💕🐕🐕🐾🐾🐦🐦🌻🌻💜💜👍👍🇱🇷🇱🇷
Love your channel my friend!! Love to see what you find!! So cool you’re in Carson city!! A cool place!! You found good stuff!! Much love!! You’re a sweet person!! 💜💜💖💖🥰🥰💕💕🌺🌺🦋🦋🦋💙❤️❤️❤️😊😊🙏🙏
Microwaves were invented in the 40’s started selling for households in the 60’s and the market blew wide open in the 70’s when the prices dropped to more affordable. So definitely vintage. ♥️ I would have guessed the 70’s.
Hi Danni, what fun. Love what you picked up, especially the art glass planter & moon .You're looking so relaxed, and 😊 it must be the great company you keep & the thought of your new home 🏡 😀 💙 💙 💙
Love the video! -my son has the same moon light in his bedroom. -the Pyrex is Butterfly Gold. I would have picked up at $9.99 too! -I adore clear glass; it goes with everything. I snap up pieces I like on the cheap while others at estate/yard sales or GW are grabbing the colored.
I am behind on videos, but my grandmother had some stunning cut crystal. And when we visted we would go to Showcase Antiques in Fredericksburg, TX and visit the locked glass rooms. It was alwags so hard to leave everything.
My mom had that same pattern and colour in the pyrex bowl. I can’t believe back I the 70’s you could buy that pattern of pyrex at KMart and Cornish ware with the wheat flower pattern! Now they’re at antique shops! Showing my age! Lol! I managed to save some of my Cornish ware pans with lids, shipping them over to England 30 years ago. I wrapped it in bubble wrap and managed to keep it all intact! Love the jewellery section, a lot of the jewellery brought back lovely memories. Btw, love the music I the recap. I don’t know why, just do! Lol!
I believe that bell shaped yellow speckled ceramic piece was part of a hobbyist wind chime. There would have been 2 others in different sizes and you would sting them together vertically to make a cute wind chime. 😊🧡🌬️
Faceless floating astronaut was I believe MTV That GW could almost be a destination gor a shopping trip. So many beautiful things! And, as you said with the time crunch you barely touched the surface. I love the first lamp you picked up, the second seemed too plain.

You left Sully from monsters Inc on the
The ER mug was for Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee in 1977.
When Noah wrote that there was not going to be any room left in the truck, I smirked because I know that is what ALL of us were thinking.
I thought he was refferring to the "Space" in the truck as Danni was looking at a "Moon" item. A play on words. Lol❤
I for one was stressing there wouldn’t be enough room in the truck for all of Danni’s stuff ! 😅
🐢👍🏻🐢👍🏻🐢

Magic erasers take off permant marker
Or with a little isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball usually works.
This is Grandma from Texas. I had my first microwaved hot dog at my friends house in 1967. Most people I knew did not have one. This particular friend of mine was from a wealthy family. I remember being amazed 😉
We bought our 1st microwave in late 70s.
Yep,my parents moved in 67 and we (10 of us) pitched in to buy them a microwave
THE AVOCADO GREEN GLASS WITH LID LOOKS LIKE IT COULD BE USED AS A BEDSIDE WATER PITCHER AND GLASS. I HAD MY FIRST MICROWAVE IN 1977.
I was going to say the same. 👍
Really glad Noah is editing the videos again, really enjoy his commentary
Researching is my favorite! Love reading about artist. (Jewelry, potters, painters, sculptors etc etc etc).
This Goodwill had load of merchandise. Microwave ovens have been in the US since 1970-71. I liked the bird throw pillows! The colors are great!
Microwave ovens were introduced to USA in 1967, Japan had them 1966. Here in Australia it was 1980. Great shop. ❤
That Goodwill was a Gold Mine ❤️
Isn’t the green glass jar with the lid on top a tumble-up that you use by your bedside? The vessel holds water and the lid is the cup.
1970's My parent both the 1st one. Dad asked me to boil eggs in it. Dad started to laugh when the eggs exploded. Thanks for the memories LOL. Never boil eggs in a microwave.
You better show us “project pieces” soon!!! Or I’m going to loose my mind.

I'd make a weekend trip there just to go to the Goodwill, that place was 👍. Now let's see 2 for Jordan, 2 for Rachel, where's Noah? Good video.
Awesome place with lots of goodies. Enjoy your mini trip
Now that was definitely an interesting GW. I’m sure it’s nice for a change of scenery for you too Danni. Great finds:)
I love the moon light, I'm addicted to moons and stars 🌟 I love watching you ❤
Our first microwave was a Radar Range in about 1976
I love shopping with you. You show us the yays and the nays and explain why. I really love it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I loved how Noah said something about running out of SPACE when you were looking at the MOON!!! LOL Noah!! nice play on words!
I bet that truck could pull a trailer !! 😂🤣
Hi Danni!👋
I can’t help but smile when you showed the minions mug. They are so stinkin’ cute.❤
I love that you are so picky with your mugs. I got two Charlie Brown ones for gifts and they are pristine. Thank you. My legs won’t allow me to shop a lot, so it’s fun to watch you and to be able to purchase them from you. They were packed so well too. Thank you for what you do.

I love watching you and I am so glad Noah is back working on the Videos. I just love seeing his comments. You raised wonderful kids !!
That Goodwill is dangerous. Can you imagine not expecting all those goodies and only having 20.00 to spend.
Microwaves came out the late 70s... And my parents used that same microwave up until five years ago when I made them get rid of it. It was dangerous! I gave them one that goes above the stove
Your bird pillows remind you of the partridge family because that's what they are... Partridge/quail and they are a awesome find😊

I love those two oil lamps! So many things to look at! Thanks again for letting us tag along with you again! They are worth a lot!
It’s nice to see a store that is packed with goodies. That would be so much fun shopping there even for me I’m not a reseller .
The moon looks like one I had in the classroom that lite up to show the different moon phases- it had a remote to change phases.
It's wonderful to see Noah's comments again ❤

Thank you for saying that the pitcher was more decorative. I often wonder about that.
Wow!!!so many cool things in that goodwill,if you were home im sure it would have been a full cart day for sure❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🐢🦉🌸❤️
Thank you for looking at the dolls!
I love your review at the end. It makes your channel a clear winner
Always fun when I find you on again.
Gets my jealousy stired up.

Huggs
Loved the “hard to ship” orange daisies casserole lidded dish! I would have snagged it! 💕🐢
Absolutely love the sunflower ceramic pot with lid
I love thrifting ,you never know what your going to find.
We had those beautiful blue goblets when we first got married! 1975, and I wish we still had them! Brought back such memories.
Those pretty bird pillows look like Charlie Harper art! Very vintage look. Thanks for a cool shopping trip!!
I,love this goodwill! ❤️
I am happy you bought the lamps!
Wow! That goodwill was awesome!
The green glass with the lid looks like a bedside water pitcher and glass.😊
It is amazing how much stuff you are finding in that out of the way. Goodwill I'm gonna start road tripping with that kind of thrifting in mind.
holy moly that gw was filled to the gill lol... you must of had a blast in there until the check out ... love your videos
Love your channel my friend!! Love to see what you find!! So cool you’re in Carson city!! A cool place!! You found good stuff!! Much love!! You’re a sweet person!! 💜💜💖💖🥰🥰💕💕🌺🌺🦋🦋🦋💙❤️❤️❤️😊😊🙏🙏

The owl is a hoot! Funny Noah!💜💜💜
I ❤ the pottery mixing bowl. So pretty!
Nice store; some great finds.

Amazing Goodwill bonus it was great for filming pretty quiet. Customer service like that would never happen at Good Stuff .
My mom had that same pattern and colour in the pyrex bowl. I can’t believe back I the 70’s you could buy that pattern of pyrex at KMart and Cornish ware with the wheat flower pattern! Marbles are a good find. I found a makeup bag full of marbles at a thrift that sold by the pound( not goodwill) and sold them for $30
We got our first microwave in 70's. I was in high school
Hairspray is good for getting ink out
Exactly
Microwave countertop was introduces in 1967. Commercials and residential, late 1970s.
I adore that tomato red ball pitcher for 8.00! Very cool.
You found some really cool stuff, Danni. Yes, that Goodwill had great merchandise.
I love the things you love enjoy so much shopping with you and.your friends and kids from north Carolina keep shopping and have fun 😁
What a store so many beautiful things
My Mother had copper pans/pots, she polished the bottoms with salt and lemon halves
Danny you gave yourself the bird hahaha LOL
That was a blast! Great stuff California 👏
Yes the 2 pillows at 49:05 - Partridge Family for sure! ❤❤
Op shops are sometimes magical. I need something and go to the exact thrift that has a $15 item for $3.
Magic eraser generally takes off those types of prices best...
I am a big fan of the vintage clear glass.
Nail polish remover removes those marker scribbles
Funny people always talk about the grandmother’s cooking, neither my grandmothers or my mother cooked! 😂
I believe that bell shaped yellow speckled ceramic piece was part of a hobbyist wind chime. There would have been 2 others in different sizes and you would sting them together vertically to make a cute wind chime. 😊🧡🌬️
I love that Quarry Criter
The clear glass cream and sugar are beautiful!
I love your little comments, Noah ❤😅
I liked the map of Ireland. I think that it can be framed and displayed on St. Patrick's Day.
Loved the bottle of marbles for 99 cents. What a buy
The green jar with a lid is a tumble up for water on your night stand
Also love that yellow teapot
Usually when they write on the item it's with washable marker. I can mostly just sit a damp rag on the writing for a bit.
The 1977 mug was queen Elizabeth silver jubilee
Alcohol prep pads - or just alcohol in a spray bottle will remove permanent marker from most surfaces.
Love the mountain scenery!!
Hi Danni you brought a few good things lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
I loved the partridge pillows!
I also had that brown layered candle next to those wood items you were looking at
Faceless floating astronaut was I believe MTV
That GW could almost be a destination gor a shopping trip. So many beautiful things! And, as you said with the time crunch you barely touched the surface. I love the first lamp you picked up, the second seemed too plain.
Hope you left room in truck lol lovely items sweetheart. Looked like a nice big goodwill. Thankyou for sharing xxx
