In all the different utube thrift videos I find yours the most succinct, informative, educating, interesting... you name it!!!
She is the best because she has a doctorate which means she's very highly educated even with background in appraising things for museums. The other thrifting channels are just girls going shopping just giving you their suggestions so I don't even listen to them anymore. This woman is the most professional and you learn a lot by listening to them
i got a hummel for $3 from goodwill in the box with the receipt in the box from Marshall Field's for $38.98 from 1978. That was a deal!

My grandma had the real Blue Willow we ate off them many times. A great memiry of great, fun times. At 71 yrs old now, I have fond memories .

I wish I would have known about your specialized vocation. Being from central MN. and not being far removed from antiques, I would have loved to have gone to school in at least a relayed field. I was a art major and as you know in most cases the only way to earn a living was to teach. I inherited few pieces from my mom's side nothing from my dad's. Dad's were rich in children, nothing else. Grandpa built a home 2 room. 7 kids....
. Well I again love your vocation, your gift of showmanship. Love your shows. Thank you. I am the youngest in my family, 70. Mom would have been 103 and granny 130. But alas I wish I would have more treasures to inherit.

Dr. Lori! Yesterday I bought TWO child-size rocking chairs b/c you always say to never pass these up. One is black hitchcock style ($25), and the second is a smaller plain brown one ($7). Will be interesting to see how they do on FB Marketplace, b/c I ain't shipping furniture...
I bought a Homer Laughlin creamer "George & Martha" as in Washington for .75¢ it was manufactured in 1950 yup 73 yrs old!!!!?
I have inherited antique,silver,beautiful cutlery,linen sheets,etc.,set’s of China,one has 30 of everything,it goes for breakfast,lunch,Dinner,coffee set,Waterford crystal ,glasses,
And champagne fluids ,for dirks before dinner.

I laughed about the Pasta in the Microwave. I cook mine in the Microwave all the time. I tried it one time and my family could not tell the difference so I have been doing it now for over 20 yrs. Easier for me.

I've seen this response about the speech impediment several times now. I believe the sound people are asking about is from behind the camera, not in front.

I've been putting back single plates. I did sell 5 Pfalzgraf plates not that long ago within 24 hours Goodwill uses the worst price stickers to get off. The sticker ruined a Nine West handbag that I bought. It cost me extra to buy black leather repair cream in order to be able to use the bag. Won't be selling it now so it's mine.
