Also starting dorans ring and maxing W until you know that you can stop putting points on W (generally when laning phase is over) is pretty good. Dorans ring solves mana issues and gives you strong early push/trading with W. You also push faster, 3-4 points W with sheen and you can one shot the backline of the wave with Q. Putting points on W allows you to push and gives you more damage than maxing Q while laning. Also reduces cd so you can use it 3 times per wave-state instead of 2. The only downside being that you scale a lil bit slower because of Q CD, but not considerably tbh.
@Davidzinuhaha Pushing the lane is extremely dangerous top lane in general and even more so against the all-in threat of Wukong. The AD of Blade is more helpful against a melee champ to poke him out tha relying on spells that also push the wave and the extra health is better against the all-in. I think the Doran's ring idea is good mid lane though
@@dirtydard4870 I agree that pushing is dangerous in top, more if you are permanently doing it regardless of jg tempo, mid matchup and top matchup. But in a long lane as top, having reliable wave clear is good to reset wave state, especially if trading is dangerous against the top matchup. If you don't have wave clear, you can get stuck in an slowpush -> freeze against enemy top and jg and thats a big nono. Having push potential doesn't mean your champ has to permapush, just that has a say on where is the wave situated in the lane. Blade I don't think it synergizes well with the champ's kit, although I haven't tested myself to be sure.
having played a lot of smolder since his release in all 3 lanes i think he feels best mid/top. in botlane you just sacrifice every drake if they pick a remotely strong early jg/adc/sup where as top and mid you dont have to fight as much and can scale safely. currently im building tri force, shojin, rfc against range/squishies and liyandrys against tanky/short range then rift/hourglass/spell shield/ quickblades, ldr depending on what i need, to add on boots are cdr boots when the game is free once you scale, swifties against slows, and defensive boots if you get a ton of value from them
20:30 If you q something and your burn kills it, you still get the stack.

I do think it is ussualy good to only try to teach others if you actually are good at a game and not average with half knowledge.
This is a terrible idea in top lane against a champ like wukong
@@dirtydard4870 Why do you think so?

Against tanky/short range, liandries first item?
@@tommy9810 not first after 2 core items of tri force and shojin you dont need mana items cause i take pom and manaflow every game
Love Bwipo
Smolder delete, scales even better
"recalling for condition" means what?
Those comment sectioned turned into lots of peoplek giving expert opinions despite nor beinf experts at toplane or the champion.
My Bad, next time I will have a doctorate in Top and go to worlds before commenting on a champ's build
