Surprise your ford truck has issue already?! I drove my 2000 Tacoma down to death valley during July twice and once in August and didn't have any issue during 120+ degree weather. New trucks aren't built like what they used to be...simple and reliable. This applies to my Tacoma as well! I have a 2019 and had 1 major issue with gasket replacement under 20k miles. Might be a lemon...lol. I don't tow or carry any load on my new truck since it just looks and feels weak compared to my old truck which I still use as my daily driver and work horse.
Cool of you to highlight the geology. Most people don't realize they're traveling thousands of years per second as they drive along all the dipping beds.
Great video. Death Valley is amazing, but it doesn't suffer fool's lightly. I ended up with two flat tires in Ballarat last May, but got a huge break when I found a tire patch kit at the little trading post located there. We limped back to Vegas and got new tires the next day.
I am disappointed that you did not include video of the 3 of you navigating the tighter sections where the vertical walls tower hundreds of feet above and you have to almost scrape to get between the walls and huge rocks in the dry was bed. It's one of the more exciting aspects of the trip.
The high canyon exit is very cool. We did it in a Toyota Corolla a couple years back. We were there two weeks ago hoping to do the trail in a Nissan Rogue, but the trail was closed due to the flood of 2022.
We did it in a Toyota Corolla and started about 3pm, exited the canyon in the dark. Not ideal and scuffed the under side a few times. It would be so cool to do with some higher qualified equipment. Just left there two weeks ago and the trail is closed from the flood.
Do you think the Kia Seltos would be able to handle this road? I’m planning a trip out to California in October and would love to come visit this spot! Also is there any spots with soft sand or is it mostly solid ground? I got myself stuck in sand before and that wasn’t fun…
Keep an eye out for another Death Valley episode coming soon. In the meantime, here's some more info and maps on Titus Canyon: www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2807-titus-canyon-road
We were there in April. In the lower areas such as Stovepipe Wells the temps were easily in the 90s. Up in the higher elevations, however (e.g. Titus), the weather was very comfortable, usually in the mid-70s.
So the hose clamp failed? I think the reason he's saying this is because there wasn't a clear explanation of what failed. Cool vid by the way. Love the channel.
You guys talking about coming down a steep hill make me say what the hell with regards to the raptor. It has hill decent control also, asking if he will ride the brakes. Come on now. My 17 Raptor has hill decent. Just cut the crap and tell people they can use 4 low or use a lower gear.

Great video! As a member of Nitto Pit Crew, I would love to have an opportunity to do this in the Pacific Northwest (Washington).

nice trucks.
Very informative and enjoyable video , I would love to run the course on my 2018 f250 4x4 diesel , with a 6inch lift and 37 in. Tires.

I'll keep in touch .. I run with a really great group. Wickedmudders
Titus Canyon is very easy. You don't need 4wheel Drive.

Loved your video man. Great job.

Awesome video, as always. How can I get a copy of that trail? Will there be a part two to this video?

@@awmckenzie sweet brotha, thanks. Stay safe and hydrate.
Do you guys have rock chips all over the side of your trucks? I’m thinking of a running board/ rock slider just to protect my paint from rocks…
Beautiful scenery but how is driving a gravel road off roading? From what was shown I could drive my Jetta on this..
A Jetta would prob fall apart during the rough part of the road. The part in the canyon is not very rough though.
I'm amazed they none of these Fords rusted out cause death valley is covered in salt.
What was the ambient outside temp when you guys went?

Is it just me or did that Ford break down seem staged? Great video though 👍
Not staged. 😎 appreciate the love!
Hi Joe, it definitely wasn’t staged. In fact, the zip ties are still on there as the truck sits in my driveway.
So the hose clamp failed? I think the reason he's saying this is because there wasn't a clear explanation of what failed. Cool vid by the way. Love the channel.
It's a ford
I highly recommend going to Death Valley by yourself for an off road experience.... lol. No I don’t
lol a new ford leaking water?! How shocking. Get a Toyota/Lexus....
Of course a brand new ford broke hahahahahahahahah

Poor video lots of talking and vehicle repairs but not much of the canyon.
The Ford FAIL!!
Lol so don't take fords out there 🤣
