The washboard road to the racetrack was an absolute dashboard shaker in my 4.5" lifted short arm 2006 LJ. I look forward to going back in my Gladiator.
Now that is how to celebrate you're birthday happy birthday Jason awesome just absolutely Awesome would love to go there someday, you're jeep is cool I've watched you build it up from stock to the beast it is now keep up the great work 👍🏻 🍻🎉🎊
This is such an awesome video. You really nailed the feeling of the trip and it’s making me so excited to get back to Death Valley when all the roads start opening up again. Thanks for the great video, and hope to see more like this one.
Oh this is a remaster....dude I thought I was having a major Deja Vu moment. The first 5 minutes were me just going, "I have seen this before. I know I have! We even talked about it when I met him in Moab!"
I"ve done Lippincott and Steel Pass twice going the other direction. Cool to see it from your vantage point. Looked like a great trip. Thanks for sharing.
First off, let me thank you for how you broke the video down by attraction, man I wish everyone did this, AWESOME!! Great video and information, thank you for sharing.....
I had a WJ and loved it because of your first death valley video. Now I have a JKU like yours, and it's getting a full metal cloak from my local shop this month. One day I'll do the death valley trail. Love your content man thanks for the videos!
Happy birthday wish a beautiful and long life your videos are very inspiring, I love your Jeep and the way you build it, I hope you use the drone a lot so we can enjoy the beautiful places you visit, thanks 👍
Hi Jason... Excellent videos! I stumbled onto your channel a few weeks ago and have been binge watching at work. Don't tell my boss, Ha Ha. I drive a 2013 Rubicon with a manual that I purchased new almost 10 years ago. I am also in my 50's so we have a lot in common except I do not have the coolest car in the world, an all original 65 corvette. Keep the videos coming, I really enjoy riding along!
Before I started off roading I got a flat tire on a rental car on Racetrack Road. I only had a donut for a spare and it took me eight hours but I made it back to the crater on the donut. I couldn't go faster than about three miles per hour for the majority of the drive. Asphalt never felt so good when I got to the crater. I made it back to Death Valley Junction to spend the night and then back to Vegas to exchange the rental car... LOLLL I learned a lot from that experience and now have the right vehicle when I go out there.
Happy belated birthday kid and I get it sometimes you are much better off celebrating on your own. Trust me I just hit my 59th and I would have enjoyed celebrating mine out in the middle of no where. Great video and thanks for sharing!
I escaped Kalifornia years ago - and Death Valley wheeling is really the only thing I mis (well, that and the Mojave Rd). Like you, it was a place of solitude for me. Your vid brought back some great memories! Thanks.
I’ll always stay watching, brother! I love your content and charismatic personality! You never act like you’re an expert know it all, you just show us the things you do and how you do them. Sweet rig and keep on trucking!
Always enjoy watching your videos. Grew up in Southern California and always enjoyed dirt biking through desert areas. Would love to drive back in my Jeep and go to the areas you went to. What caused me to pause the video is the background of when you are filling with gas and seeing the gas prices. WOW. Sticker shock, I realize that was from 2022 but still. Again great video thanks for putting it together.
You're very much appreciated, Jason. Life's hard and taking the time to care for yourself is huge. Thank you for being so real. Btw, this was as good the second time as it was the first time I watched it!
Hey Jason! Thank you!!! Because of my work I am not able to watch every video right when you drop them, but once I do I absolutely binge them! Love your positivity and I can’t even begin to tell you how your vids have helped me! Love for Kelowna B.C !
This was a beautiful video to enjoy with my coffee on a Saturday morning. Must have missed it the first time so glad you reuploaded. Hope you are well!
Happy birthday. Keep after it!! I learned all kinds of stuff watching your videos. Like if I’m under my Jeep I should always clean those fun bits and also to be careful around compressed coil springs because they want to murder me and that would would be bad. Good looking out.
What a great trip Jason! That looked so relaxing just driv8ng along and taking in views! Thank you for sharing! I love just taking a drive to clear my head!
Great camerawork, editing and narration made it feel like we were riding shotgun. I’ve been exploring California’s gems by Jeep, and now a GX and DS bike for nearly 50 years. The deserts are my happy place and we’ve spent many birthdays covered in dust dancing around a campfire under the stars and satellites. Looks like you’ll chronicle more like this. Keep on keeping on.
Thanks for sharing your adventures. Your authentic enthusiasm is great to see. We all need ways to de-stress, decompress and refresh. My Jeep and paintball are my therapy. I think I need to change my T-case fluid, if I could only find that 10mm....
Happy B-day!!! "Cheap Beer in an Exotic location" Perfect. Yes, more of these vignettes please. Your presentation style is very enjoyable and engaging.
Jason thanks for this video new to the channel spend some time watching some of the how to videos and I must say I've enjoyed a lot sounds like he took a hiatus and now you're back glad to see that keep the videos coming
I got talked into a 2 day hike from trilobite ridge to the springs at 56 years old. The "trail" turned into rock hopping and dry fall climbing. Day 1 I knew I was in trouble. The family I was with just "flowed" through everything, and I clunked along. It was at this point their cow dog decided it was not worth shadowing me and dropped me from the pack. Day 2 was a visit to petroglyphs bordering a dry lake. Figured no more challenges except following a trail up to a plateau and walk to the springs. The "trail" was total scree and steep. Their 15 minute ETA to the top took me 45. The springs were attained around sunset. We were catching our breath with our packs still on, and a car slowed down. The people were first timers, and asked where we had come from. I straightened up and pointed at the hills behind us. Eyes got wide and jaws dropped. That made the whole trip for me.
Enjoyed it the first time…. And the second time around too!!! It’s been a long time since I’ve explored DV, and a nice tour through your lens hit the spot.
Great and very well done! I have watched quite a few Death Valley 4x4 trail videos on RUclips and this one that you did is by far, the best one I have seen!👍👍 I know it has been several weeks, but Happy Birthday!🍰 I have been to a few of those places, Ballarat Ghost Town, Goller Wash, Saline Valley Hot Spring, which is one of my very favorite places to go in the world. Definitely worth an overnight stay, or better yet, the 2 or 3 day relaxation, camping trip for me, because I live so far away. I usually spend 3 or more overnights when I go there. It's very much a healing experience for me just being there and spending time soaking and enjoying the night sky. I really enjoyed watching how you pick your lines on the trails. Most of the RUclips videos I have watched of people driving their 4x4's and on the more difficult of the same trails you showed, the vast majority of the drivers didn't pick their lines very well and some were obviously very inexperienced and even with the spotters they did have, they still didn't drive a good line, maneuver well, or get guided by the spotter as well as you did going solo in your video. Of course, quite a few of those vehicles probably shouldn't have even been on some of those trails in the 1st place and a lot of the 'built' 4x4's were not as dialed-in as well as yours is either.😉
Hey Jason, Happy Birthday belated of course, the first video I watched was the GC trip from Las Vegas when your had the smashed exhaust. It was the Kinda thing that happens on my adventures.
@@AutoEdits I have to make a correction… I forgot about putbull alarm clock… that might of been the first…. I have a poodle/schnauzers mix that wakes me up a little early every morning…. I pet her and say “snooze Mandy”. She usually goes outside and barks as the snoozed alarm. Anyway, keep it coming! Are you still working for motor trend?
I’ve been watching for years love your videos! Every time you have a video in Death Valley I want to plan a trip with my Jeep! Video looks great in 4K👍
If you ever get to Michigan I’d love to wheel with you. Drummond island and the U.P. Are amazing! I go as much as I can. It helps having a house in harbor springs as a halfway point. Tons of trails everywhere.
I watch your videos because you are who you are. I love seeing genuine people still out there in the world. I relate to your struggles and emotions. I can see you have had some hurt in your life recently. I love seeing you push through it and keep living. Keep up the content. We appreciate it
Awesome solo production! Very nice delivery and flow of everything.... information, emotions, all of it! Thank you!
Hey, thanks so much for the feedback!
(7.55) for gas? Nutz! I enjoy your videos!
Thanks!
Happy Birthday , thanks for being. Greetings from Poland

Thanks and slow down with that year long thing... LOL!!!
This is such an awesome video. You really nailed the feeling of the trip and it’s making me so excited to get back to Death Valley when all the roads start opening up again. Thanks for the great video, and hope to see more like this one.
That burro was less than enthused... Very cool wheelin area

Oh this is a remaster....dude I thought I was having a major Deja Vu moment. The first 5 minutes were me just going, "I have seen this before. I know I have! We even talked about it when I met him in Moab!"
HA! Yeah, sorry about that... just had to see this through to full resolution... literally 😂
Hahaha, I’m so on board. I swore I saw this before. 😂
I did this in July years ago, drove from Vancouver Canada to escape the rain. I love this place. It was HOT! I did MOAB as well. Thanks for the Video.

It was a great video first time around but it’s definitely richer in colour and contrast this time 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Made me crazy to see the low bitrate version drop out details so I just had to repost with all the resolution!
Enjoyed as much the second time around as the first. Definitely my favorite types of videos.
Thank you, I love hearing this! I wish I could get more views on these but I'll keep trying.
Happy birthday boss, love your video. Currently have a 92 Chevy Blazer I’m working on so I can do the same trip
