I love that. I lived in Sedona and Flagstaff for ten years. Ten of the best years of my 55 on this planet. I hiked every trail in Sedona. Cleaned the taproom and beer garden at Oak Creek Brewing for a year and a half and drank enough of their beer to swim in. Visited Mother Road the last time I was there. I get back every few years to hike and mountain bike. Flagstaff is still my favorite town. Northern Arizona is one of the most beautiful places on this beautiful continent. Can't wait to visit the north rim again and I'm hoping to hike the Grand rim to rim. Thanks for the video

Nice video. But this isn’t in any way a part of the Arizona Trail. The official Arizona Trail doesn’t have an “alternate” route from Pine to Flagstaff.

Yep. Said that. Know that. Don’t care. Had fun. Making your own route is fun and a good skill to have.

It's an alternate way out of Pine/Strawberry. Never had this alternate route been advertised as part of the AZT. The GC was closed and that left alot of hikers looking for "Alternate" routes. We had people that came from out of the country and had travel plans that couldn't be changed.

The video is titled “The Arizona Trail, Episode5”…that implies/advertises that this route is part of it, I was only saying that it’s not. It’s a beautiful video, a nice route, and a viable one if you’re unable to do the AZT for whatever reason. Hike your own hike, it’s all good!
