Now you can really get back there in the deep country. This is my setup too. Side by side and truck camper. When my beloved dog passed away (rest easy Marley) I lasted six weeks before I found my new buddy. Life is just better with a dog. Great video. Happy for you, nice can am!
I hear ya man. Not having a pup to constantly stumble over while in the small confines of my camper is a completely foreign existence and I too am not sure how long I'm going to make it before I get myself another pup. I'm looking forward to it but also trying to embrace the complete lack of responsibility and freedom being dogless presents. But...I dont like it so far.
@@exmarkmetroguy yes but he said his pup was injured so I figured he wasnt going to rally this weekend. I found an awesome trail in the tobacco roots yesterday, would probably take about 3 hours one way for the 4runner and taco but it could be done as long as yall dont mind some potential body damage. It is an epic trail!
also, I may be taking a trip up to the UP since I am currently in MN fixing up a family member's house for the next month. never been up there and figured it'd be a great trip to check out N Michigan.
If you need any tips on good camping sites, I'd be more than happy to share some of ours. I enjoy working on family projects, the food is good and the beer is free. Helped my brother put steel on the roof of their rental cabin a few years ago.
Yessir it sure is! I have to admit, though, it's not as fun as snowmobiling or dirt biking. But it's still a blast and it will help me show some of my family members who aren't as physically able(not excluding myself from this list) the hidden gems of this state.
Thanks, I swapped out for 30” maxxis bighorns. Only thing I wish I could do differently is waited another year so I could save 3k and also have AC. It is pretty dang hot in there unless the front window is opened(I know have a full cab kit.). Other than that, it’s an incredible rig that is amazing for work and play!
@@downbytheriver501 my mother and I have a 30 acre horse ranch in CT. We have a John Deere Gator TX, it’s starting to get up there with the hours, we like it but I’ve always had my eyes set on the Can Am 6 by 6 for our next UTV because the towing and hauling capacities. Do you think the 30 inch tires handle loads better compared to having the standard 27 inch tires?
It does pretty well except when you have to turn sharp on pavement. Then it sucks because the rear 4 tires are locked. It also sucks when trying to turn sharp on slippery surfaces because the rears have a tendency to push you towards the outside of any turn
First off sorry to hear about your dog. Second, I’m really glad I found this channel. It looks like you’re having a lot of fun out there!

I'm happy I found your channel. You're playing in my backyard. There's no better place to live than Montana. Safe travels.
Shhh! Hahaha, j/k. Thanks for watching!
Whatsup man I’m the dude with the 4-runner from yesterday. Haha hope you got some good video of all that carnage yesterday
Nice man! great to hear from you. You guys still wanting to go and do some off-roading this weekend?

Great footage, and 500 subs!!! 🥂
Half a thousand! I'm famous!
Love the 6x
Could haul a lot of firewood in that. Right now I drag it home with a Honda trx 250. Looks like a lot of fun. Thumbs up from the Yoop.
I almost want to get a piece of property just so I can use the hydraulic dump on it for that very reason! hahaha

Hi,
Sorry about dog, I have a Shepard that is very similar. What size tires did you swap out for and would you do anything different?
Thank you
Thanks,

Its your tires that kept you on that obstacle. Jeeps haft to compromise on tires to do road and trail. you have a dedicated off road vehicle.
My utv has DOT rated tires because it is fully street legal.
what size tires and stock rims? did you add any lift?
Tires are 30" and rims are stock as well. No lift! This thing is surprisingly tall from the factory.
What’s it like on the street? Do you cringe when you have to turn?
It does pretty well except when you have to turn sharp on pavement. Then it sucks because the rear 4 tires are locked. It also sucks when trying to turn sharp on slippery surfaces because the rears have a tendency to push you towards the outside of any turn

I can see the air quotes right now.
