park jisung wasnt about goals or assists, it was his work ethic.
Thing about him was that he was actually a top class finisher and short range passer, it's just that he had that gift for playing a supporting role. Those types of players have always been in more demand because they're rarer.

We love Park Ji-sung not only because of his performance but also his good personality. Very humbled and disciplined. Park is huge super star in South Korea, also in entire Asia.. yet had absolutely none issues or scandals. He was focused his entire life into the football during his career.

He was an absolutely talented player more likely a spine of the team. I loved watching the energy Park, Rooney & Ronaldo created. He played in the most of big games, except one champs final. He ripped many big teams like Chelsea, Barca, Gunners, etc. I agree with Furgie and Rooney saying that Park is one of the best and most unsung player of all. Never seen any players like Park before & after so far.

Many of Rooney & Ronaldo goals are assisted by Park. He looked an icon in the team in my eyes! Such game maker and always gave 100% to the team and his club. MU was lucky to have him. Now I knew why MU won several tiles during Park’s tenure at MU.

Can shoot, can dribble, can score with headers, can take on players, can pass the ball. Don't have to mention his defensive ability, and some people still think he's a player without skills? I think some people have a very skewed view of what "skills" are.
Underrated for his strength and balance. His ability for the simple and effective pass to turn defensive to attack instantaneous.

First he played at English giants club M.U. I always notice the way this guy plays on the field, the physical energy he has is incredible .. Versatile in all positions. So much so that it was difficult for the M.U defense to be penetrated by an opponent controlled by Park. The Asian player who rocked the European giants Club of his time (THE BEST ASIAN PLAYER OF ALL TIME).

Park was't called three lung for nothing, speedy and doing all the hard running that was Park Ji Song's strength in scoring crucial goals, the Korean attacking midfielder was a favourite under SAF who knows how to use the best of Park in important matches.
Always touches me how much respect and affection that Ferguson shows Park whenever they've met since he retired- he doesn't do the same for all his players. Obviously Ronaldo is his favourite, but after him Park is in a special tier for how he reacts when hes seen him on occasion.
