Im so lost on whether I should get this or the Akko Piano V3s. I LOVE the sound of the kang whites but the lesser travel of the Piano seems appealing for better typing. Anyone want to weigh in their opinions?

What plate did you use? Since my gmmk pro is pretty similar to yours, pretty much exact same mods except for replacing the case form with goka foam and lubed and holee modded durock stabs. I’m wondering if it might be just that the gmmk pro case sucks and is making my build more scratchy/clacky then I want it to be haha
This is a plastic case so it will sound deeper and less scratchy than an aluminium. Also it has all foams and polyfill. Each case will have a different sound profile so it may be that you gmmk is more “clacky” maybe? This is very similir en built as my cub65 which is aluminium and they still sound and feel different
Yeah it is the same for me! You can check my other video with a proper test sound that the rgb lights are off, only the white/blue light after hit, more beautiful. Also with the switches lubed
when you buy these in stock, are they loud enough? I have the milky yellow pros and theyre not loud enough so i was wondering if this is more louder. I want to be able to hear it when gaming thock.

Bro what? Lubing a switch is what makes it sound *less* scratchy. Are you implying that lubing the switch is what caused the scratch in the first place?
@@heraldezekielcastro7326 if you would ask me, any linear that has a actuation force of less than 50g is good for gaming. depends on your preference though- it can be clicky, linear, tactile or even have a heavy actuation force but it probably wont be any different for the average beginner. go to your microcenter (or any store that has mechanical keyboards) and try them out.
@@jzhu. Not true, switches with more actuation required also means that when you press the switch, it will rise faster. 50-60g is probs the sweet spot hence the amount of switches with springs around this weight.
@LunariteFox. In my testing of many switches, I liked 40-50g actuation forces the most. Again, this doesn't really mean much as some gamers prefer heavy switch. Also, actuation point and bottom out force matters too. I recommend you take a look.

Yeah check the 3rd the video in the channel about the gmk, I listed it all. Polyfill in the base and lubed the switches

I like more the ktt, I lubed the stabilizers and did the holee mod. And did not lubed these switches

What you are hearing are the stock without lubing, it’s not a really loud switch

Did you remove the battery when doing tape mod? I’ve heard that it’s a fire hazard or something. Or is it fine if I just use the wired mode only?
