Got 15 minutes into this movie and hit the back button. By the late fifties the Golden Age of Hollywood was over. The magic was gone and few good movies later were made and that goes up to today. No wonder why so many people say, why don't they make movies like they did years ago.

The movie's mot much, it's not even a whodunit. But the actors make it quite interesting. Honor Blackman as a frumpy, frightened housewife! Two Bond actors, with one of them, who usually plays military or government figures, as the murderer! And a lot of stalwarts of of British B movies, Sam Kidd and Ferdy Mayne! .Sid James, star of the Carry On films! Plus Dandy Nichols, Bernard Bresslaw and many more!

What a weird premise and weird times the 50's were. Watching a human being starve as entertainment? Now we just use every weapon known and unknown to man to wipe out entire planets. They must have really been "starved" for entertainment. Cheers!
Sam Kydd saves the day. John Ireland despicable gangster in Railroaded and in this the nice guy though a little dim as if he had thought about it he could have worked it out much quicker. A good Bond connection here with Honor Blackman and Geoffrey Keen and Sidney Tafler rounds off a good cast and all in under an hour.

I wonder why his son's voice was dubbed in?
I was wondering the same thing. How much worse could his actual voice be than the one they dubbed it with?
And it was clearly the voice of a young woman pretending to be a kid. Just wow. So bad.
Do these types of old films always have short endings?
If Honor Blackman is in it should be classy. But the music sounds quirky.
