When I was an usher in my teenage years, whenever James Bond came around, it was watching classics compared to beach blanket, bingo type movies after James Bond low I would catch all of his movies and then and I consider them all great. I would not discard being looked upon as James Bondand I feel that many actors would’ve been happy, but Sean Connery definitely proved himself to be more than one character.
Ahh yes, Sean Connery one of Scotlands most famous sons, even when playing Irish men in films he kept the Scottish accent. And such a patriot of Scottish Nationalism that as soon as he made good he made off, to Spain where he could play a lot more golf and pay a lot less tax.
Saltzman should never had lied to Sean about getting a share of the movies- profit sharing.
Sean was and will always be James Bond.
THEY DIDN'T GIVE HIM A .45
Sean loved Scotland but wouldn’t live there would he .

After he made his money he could discard the character
Then why did he play Bond in Never Say Never?
For the money and to stick two fingers up at the producers as it was not done by EON
As far as acting is concerned Connery was a one trick pony...he was always just himself...a performer not an actor.
Yes, but that's true for a lot of movie "stars."

The same could be said about Joan Collins .
There are only two " James Bond"s....Sean Connery and Daniel Craig !!
all the other pretenders were posers.
George Lazenby , was quit good to . Great action scenes , in on her majesty’s secret service .
