The Canon T7i/800D & 77D are more than just an entry level DSLR. With high end specs, fast autofocus, great image quality, and solid design, Canon's best DSLR might also be their cheapest. But does it compete with the Sony A6300 , Fuji X-T20, & Nikon D5600?

In this DSLR camera review we take a look at the Canon T7i / Canon 800D to test autofocus performance, image quality, and more.
Nice video. Although one minor thing is that I found the music to be too loud compared to your voice so I had to constantly turn the volume down when the music comes up.
I agree with your opinion
We are not tennagers to keep us happy with that loud noise
What music is that.... Wanna know the name.. Of the background music 🤔😊😁
Nonsense! I love having my ears blasted by music twice as loud as the voice....
I got this for my first DSLR and it's been a blast!
Purchased a brand new T7i/800D yesterday. Loving the touch screen ! Loving the Camera !
Awesome! Glad you enjoy it
Vincent S bro can u plz let me noe that what is the different between 800d & t7i..??
Or else both are the same can just name is different..???
Gog Says Both are the same. Just two different names☺️
They are the same cameras. The names are what they are called in different countries.
Vincent S could u tell how it performs in low light?
Thanks for the video. I just bought a refurbished T7i from Cannon along with their 18-135mm kit lense for an upcoming trip and for my RUclips channel.
Thanks for the video! I think I'm going with the T7i
I've subscribed to your channel for a few months because I like the reviews you and your wife do. I have been procrastinating on a dslr purchase for a while. A friend suggested the T7i, and I'm so glad to see you reviewed it. I think it's time to let the phone be just a phone again, and get me one of these. And new one aren't as expensive as I thought.
Thanks!!! Yes, the Canon T7i would be a great option. Also, Canon JUST announced the SL3 which is basically a smaller T7i for a little less $: bhpho.to/2UxEGqZ. The main difference is that the T7i is slightly larger with more controls (some people would prefer that) and the T7i offers better AF when using the optical viewfinder. However, the SL3 offers better video options and faster AF when using the rear LCD screen (live view)
Here are my recommended lenses/accessories: geni.us/eosrebel
Thank you for the info. I saw your post on the Facbook group, and was wondering how the SL3 was going to compare to the T7i. I was thinking of researching the 80D, but I have a tendency to over-think my options. Then I miss out when I could be enjoying myself. So, I'm going with the 7i. Looking forward to your next videos.
Thanks for the video... Looking into purchasing an inexpensive camera... This video review really helped me out a lot
I think this review is perfect, I think your background music is too loud than your normal voice.
Shame about the music volume. Makes your ears bleed with headphones as the levels are so off with your voice.
I Purchased the canon 800d today.Loving it
Would you recommend the T7i over the Sony A6300 now that they have fixed the overheating issue. you said you got rid of it for that reason a year ago. I like that its touch screen, flip screen and easier to use. Im torn between cameras and just looking for more advice.
Hey. So from a camera quality perspective the Sony a6300 is a big improvement over the T7i and the overheating does seem to be way less prevalent. The a6300 is a massive improvement for video as well, especially if you don't mind shooting 4k and it looks like you do a ton of video! But yes, you have to live without the flip screen which can be an inconvenience for self shooting with youtube. But if you can deal with that, or don't mind using a small external monitor, the a6300 offers better image quality for video and stills although their lenses often cost more. What are you shooting with now?
Thank you for the response! I use the Sony rx100 now . I do lots of DIY's and decorating so I'm not behind the screen that much. I know I can set up an external monitor but I'd like to keep things simple. Is the video quality that noticeable to the average person? If you could pick them up for the same price which would you choose? I really like how easy the canon seems to be to operate and touch screen. I know I can continue to upgrade but I'd like to make a good decision
Nice! For you I would honestly consider the a6300 more...especially if you are coming from the rx100. Yes, you can absolutely see the difference in a side by side test. That said, I don't think you will disappoint anyone (including yourself) with the quality of the T7i but I guarantee you will see the difference once you shoot on the a6300. The ONLY reason I would go with the T7i is for the flip out screen but again, you can combat that by using the mobile app or a small crappy monitor if you find it to be a huge deal. Hope that helps a bit. Unfortunately there is never a perfect camera!
thank you, I appreciate the help and advice. I was looking at getting the 35mm for the a6300 as I like the boka it provides! Let me know if you have any suggestions? Again thank you very much for the help!
No problem. Yep, the 35 is a great lens and it also has image stabilization. It's on sale right now as well at B&H: bhpho.to/2A2EDV3
Nice review. i am looking for my first dslr and to be honest i was torn and had no clue until i watched this
Thanks! Did you end up picking up the T7i?
hi, yes i did.
@@mrdavidjk Please share your experience with this camera?
@@sohail2318 I Love this camera, the easy mode is a nice touch if you come from point and shoot to DSLR, i quickly learnt to use the manual mode and have taken some amazing pictures of varying subjects. i have not used any other DSLR so i can't say how it compares to them but as an entry into DSLR cameras i am very happy with the results.
@@mrdavidjk Thank you
Do stores still carry the Cano t7i 800D am not able to find it online for example on the bestbuy website only show the Rebel t7 (200D)as well for the new one Rebel t8 could it be that cano already discounted the t7i :/ i like the auto focus the t7i had
Still a amazing mid range DSLR 😍👌🏻👍🏻💪🏻
What camera did you shoot this video with? It's very clear! P.s. I asked this before the video ended
I was set to buy this camera tomorrow, now after seeing your review i'll go happy to buy it!! Thanks a lot. I'm suscribed to your channel now! Thanks again!!
Thanks Ariel!!!
Tomorrow i'm buying the T7i (I have already a T1i, nice update!!)
Do you regret it?

My new Camera for Christmas ❤️
Same here! Have fun with yours
So I am trying to start a photography business as well as begin making videos. I have a budget of around $1000 (I am 17) and I have a few wants/needs for a camera. These include: Sharp image quality, at least 6 fps shooting, at least 1080p 60fps (slow motion is something I will be doing) but 4k would be much better, at least 20000 iso, wi fi and bluetooth as well as time lapse mode would be nice, tilting display, good auto focus, microphone port (not necessary but it would be nice), a touch screen would be great, Environmental sealing would also be nice, lots of lenses to choose from. So those are my needs/wants in a camera, It will be for everything from landscape photography, to product photography, portraits and the video will be used just as much. I have narrowed my search to 2 camera that I have found and can get for the same price right now. They are the Canon T7i and the Sony a6300. The kits I found have the following: Canon T7i, EF-S 18 - 55mm IS STIM, EF-S 55 - 250mm lens, filter, battery charger, 2 batteries and camera bag or the Sony a6300, 16 - 50mm lens, battery and charger. Both kits cost the same. I am having trouble deciding, I like the T7i for the ease of use i.e. touch screen, fully articulating, lots of lens options, good button layout, classic dslr feel and the 60fps 1080p is the only reason I want to pay more for it over the T6i which is $500 off at the moment as I want to do slow motion. But I am disappointed that it doesn't have 4k which is why the sony a6300 is nice. I like the 4k capabilities and the 1080p 60fps. Really both cameras have similar photography capabilities. But I am disappointed that the sony a6300 doesn't have a touch screen and the numerous articles about sony a6300's over heating are worrisome as well as the poor button layout. Anyways, my question is which of these 2 packages is the better option for my needs as both are the same price and if you have a better option to recommend please let me know! Thank you very much and I hope to hear some replies soon as the deals are time sensitive. Thanks.
Just Living Life did you ever pick a camera? I’m debating the t7i
robledo yes, I ended up going with the sony a6300, the quality is incredible, its fast, small and awesome! The only downsides are no foldable screen to selfie mode and not as many lense options as canon but for me the positives outweigh the negatives. 4k, 1080p at 120fps, 11fps photos, the list goes on. The silent shutter is also really nice!
i live in the UK and bought the Canon EOS 800D (same camera, just labelled different here, why do they do that?) Anyway, I bought it after your Review last year and I have to admit...IT'S BRILLIANT! especially for a noob like me...thankyou!
leonard from big bang theory
There us a huge gulf between those willing and able to spend $3000+ for a camera/lens and those who's budget keeps them under a thousand. Someone at Canon seems to have recognized this and while they are taking heat (rightfully so) for lackluster upgrades to their top camera's they are just killing it in the entree level/beginners markets. Just about every new camera they are bringing out now has the same photo quality as the 80D despite the price point. Canon has also seemed to come up with a much more intiutive menu system then any other -especially Sony's. They may also control the semi-pro market more if the rumered specs for the 7D Mark III are true (30 megapixels with (finally!) no AA filter and under 2 grand). :)
I'm considering buying this 800D vs D5600 v a6000. It's a tough decision for me as I have jumped back and forth between choices.
If you use live view or video, skip the D5600. The T7i and a6000 are different animals. The a6000 does offer better photo quality but lenses get expensive so keep that in mind.
Dan Watson Thanks, Dan.
You take nice photos. Most sample photos from the ef-s 10-18mm lens are total trash.
it doesn’t matter what camera you have it depends on the amount of experience the photographer has
For entry level this camera has Bang!
How can I find your T7i FB group, please? Thanks for your great work.

I’m really conflicted between getting this or the Sony a6000. I want to buy my first camera to get into photography and while I want a DSLR, the a6000 can be found for a bit cheaper and it might be better for photography.
The a6000 produces actually a slightly better image actually although the autofocus on the T7i is slightly better in some ways. The Sony a6100 brings a huge AF upgrade if you can afford it
Is it good for video and still worth it to buy? I have been offered one for $250
That seems crazy low. Is it broken?
No it's not. I live in Dubai and a sub company of Amazon is having their biggest sale of the year
Which better for photography two model between canon T7i and canon m50? please talk to me.
Technically they offer almost identical image quality so the major differences is the lens options, autofocus, and ergonomics/handling. The T7i has more options on lenses especially if you can spend more $ while the m50 is better for cheaper lenses.
Hi there. Just subscribed, this video is very informative.
I'm torn between 800d and d5600 mainly because I will shoot people and I know that Nikon has more crisps looking photos because the lack of AA filter and better battery life but mainly because of the better dynamic range. But I'm not able to find comparison in real life scenarios and low light situations. Although photography is with priority, good video Is needed occasionally and there is where Canon have an edge compared to Nikon because of DP autofocus.
I'm not technically obsessed, but want good focused and natural photos and I don't know how big is the difference in the real life.
Hey! Thanks so much for the sub!!! So I would go for the 800D unless you never plan on using live view or movie just because the D5600 has horrible focusing in live view. It does have a slight edge in image quality but I still prefer the color on the D800. You could look at the Nikon Z50 which is the best at both if you want to shoot Nikon
Thanks for the reply. Only thing I'm concerned before going with 800D is the dynamic range and noise in low light compared to d5600. But it is a logical choice.
Z50 is superb but is slightly above my budget :)
@@vlx4507 So technically the D5600 would have better dynamic range but you would only see that difference in extreme situations, shooting RAW, and when boosting the shadows significantly in post. I'd prefer the better AF in live view personally
Thank you very much!!!
For FILM: T7i/800D vs 80D and the headphone jack input question ... for filmmaking. How accurate is it? Same quality as in the control room/edit room as in real life? I'm a film composer but would like a nice good handy cam to bring with me for short films in the city/nature - so ofc I'll need a good mic+noise/wind muff. But...go those extra hundra bucks for the 80D only for the headphone jack?? Soo much leaning towards the T7i/800D Would appreciate feedback! Great channel man
The headphone jack is great if you want to monitor your audio from the camera and is sometimes helpful to have. Although for any serious audio creation you will want to use an external recorder as the preamps on most DSLRs are not that great.
Hi Dan! Great video there and I just want to get your opinion if this camera is great for astrophotography? I'm an astrophotographer however I've never used any DSLRs as they are so expensive for me, so I have only used camera from smartphones for years.. this will be the first time I'd be doing an upgrade so I'd appreciate it if you can recommend this camera (T7i) for my astro imaging (entry level)? Thanks in advance and more power to your channel!
Sorry for the late reply! It's definitely not a bad option although Sony sensors tend to do better with low light so I might suggest something like an a6000 series camera (a6300 is great) instead if it's not out of the budget
Hello i really like yr video very informative video but bit confused now i just seen this video today so wondering is it still best camera for beginner for vlog plzzz suggest me 2020 best camera in budget 1500 to 1700 dollar plzz .
Dan you should do a T7i + kit lens vs pixel 2 or iPhone 8/X
Confused between 800d or 200d coz i am looking for entry level and is it worth to skip 200d and choose 800d only for the more AF points and Little High buffer speed or settle for 200d and invest in good lenses, does AF points really count in future growth.
Chandan Gowda Please Buy Canon 800D + Sigma 18-35 f1.8 you will be blessed Bokeh and Great 49 Dual Pixel Autofocus.
Chandan Gowda actually even the autofocus is different. The 800d can focus in moonlight like light and the 200d can't do that.
Actually 200d has 9 points af :) It's kinda of a toy
Can you explain the difference between an entry level DSLR and a professional?
Sure. The level of customization, sensor size, features like 2 card slots, speed, build quality/weather sealing, battery, better AF systems, longer shutter life, additional accessories like dual battery grips...all kinds of stuff.
Hi Dan, that was a very nice review. I would like to see you doing a canon SL2 for photography. (Many of the youtube reviews of sl2 are vlogging centered)
Hey, thanks! The SL2 is very limited for photography because of slow continuous shooting with a horrible buffer and an old focus system that lacks the performance of the T7i. It works well for vlogging though because for video/live view it uses the dual pixel AF system which is actually pretty good but for photos using the viewfinder, especially if you are shooting continuous and moving subjects, you should step up to the T7i
Dan Watson thanks for your response bro
Hello Dan,
Thank you for your reviews and videos. Very informative and helpful. I would like to ask for your advice on one topic, if possible. At the moment I shoot with the Nikon D3300 (mostly landscapes and night shoots). I am thinking about upgrading either to a Fujifilm X-T20 or a Canon 800D. I would very much appreciate your opinion on which camera you think it’s best as far as image quality (sharpness, dynamic range, and so). I have been watching a lot of Fuji reviews, and I really like the colors and sharpness of the X-T20. Can you give me your take on which one you think it’s best? I could also consider a 77D or 80D, but I think that since the sensor and processor are the same for all these 3 Canon, as far as image quality there should not be a great difference.
Thank you in advance. Regards,
Bruno Melo
Hey Bruno
So I would say the X-T20 is technically better quality but it's not for everyone. I would more recommend it to people who either love the retro design or appreciate manual tactile controls and love cameras as it can be more difficult to operate. Plus there is less training available for that camera than the 800D or 77D. Right now the 77D is just about the same price as the 800D so I might consider that also but skip the 80D for now and yes, all the Canon's offer just about identical quality.
Thank you for your reply Dan. I think I will go for the X-T20.
Best regards.
canon t7i or nikon d5500 which camera is better for still normal photography (I don't need to shoot videos)?? I just want to know that which camera has the better image quality and more clear picture.
Dear, How to make the best food videos with this camera?
Which of the two would you suggest for amateur landscape astrophotography? Noise as the iso increases? Secondary it will be used for all around daytime shooting. Thanks in advance!
Is it possible to take night time pictures, that capture the stars, using the T7i?
Theoretically Yes but you will need a lens with a wide aperture of 2.8 or less ideally and a solid tripod
You said that the touchscreen was revolutionary (3:00) but then you said there is nothing revolutionary about it (3:32) so which one is it?
Canon's touch screen is revolutionary but it has been the same quality and interface for the past 3-4 years so there is nothing specifically revolutionary about it on the T7i. That was the point I was trying to make. You can pick up the T4i and get a similar touch experience.
What lens did you use for the pictures?
I’m looking for a camera to start my RUclips career apart from using my phone! Haha is the T7i video creator kit a good deal and where might be great to get a good deal? Great video bud!! love it
Hey! The T7i would be great for that. There is a great deal on the T7i kit with mic that you should absolutely check out: bhpho.to/2CjWTe8
If you are looking at starting up on youtube, check out some of my favorite youtube/vlogging gear: kit.com/learningcameras/my-vlogging-kit
Hero, hopefully this kickstarts more youtubing! thanks dude. checking out the vlogging gear as i type!
Thanks for the video, do you think the SL2 is a better option if I'm searching for a compact camera (maybe with the 24mm f/2.8 pancake) or would I miss too much?
I don't do sports, so could the Dual Pixel be enough?
I can get the SL2 + the 24mm for the price of the T7i body only.
If you shoot mostly with the rear screen instead of the viewfinder and are not looking to shoot high speed action, the SL2 is fine. The biggest improvements on the T7i over the SL2 are the focus system when using the viewfinder and buffer.
Is it good for Interior design photography?
Hello, great review! but so great you have put me in trouble
I'm looking for my first DSLR camera, and probably the only one for a long time. First I was looking at the D5600, but after comparing with the D5500, I rather like the D5500 (time lapse, NFC and Bluetooth, the most noticeable features, I don't need them).
Then I found this camera, compared with the D5500 is about 180 - 200 usd difference for (what I think I will use) 45/45 cross focus points vs 39/9 cross from Nikon, and the dual pixel. I know that you say that at 10:53, but in your experience, those 2 features are worth about usd 200 + a smaller sensor + a little bit lower picture quality + less pics x battery?
Hope you could help me, I really don't know which would suit better my future needs.
Haha, until there is a perfect camera, there will always be this kind of decision making!!!
I'll try and make this simple. If you EVER plan on using live view for composing/shooting pictures or shooting video using the screen instead of the optical viewfinder, I would ABSOLUTELY get the T7i or 77D (which is on a huge sale BTW: kit.com/learningcameras/best-gear-for-canon-eos-dslr-cameras)
The difference in quality/battery is minor and most people are not using lenses good enough or shooting RAW with large enough shadow pushes to even notice the difference in quality. What is massive is the difference in usability when using live view and MANY people love using it for photos and video. So for most people, I would recommend getting the T7i/77D over the D5600 as a result.
Hey Canon!!...Hello my friend
Thanks Dan!!!
@rologti wondering what you decided... I'm in the same position right now, I was originally planning on the D5500 but then it became impossible to find, so I switched to the D5600... until a few days ago when I saw the same info about the t7i with focusing etc, since I also would like to take video (kids/pets type stuff mostly) I'm now strongly considering the Canon instead.... but I'm still so torn. I have/had a Nikon DSLR but it was purchased 12yrs ago and is ancient so I have no brand loyalty.
@@cdaitch if you have kids and wanna shoot there sports. Go canon
Can you use bluetooth headphones(Beats) to connect to the T7i?
Thank you for the review. I purchased this camera online and I recieved the 800D. From what I researched online it shows they are the same camera apart from the name depending on the region its purchased from. My question is should I return it for the T7i or just keep it?
The 800D is the same as the T7i but in the USA they use the T7i branding while most countries outside the USA call it the 800D
I also got the 800D, but i knew it was the same camera as the t7i before buying it. It was less expensive for being a european version of it and not have the usa warranty on it, but I haven't needed any warranty since it has worked for me real good. I paid I believe $500 bucks for it, brand new.
WHY does everyone say there's just one adjustment wheel. There's one right by the viewfinder!
What does that do?
Do you really not know what that dial does?
After Laughing of Canon EOS 200D which one is Value for money for beginner 200D or 800D? Please suggest best one, I don't want to regret after purchasing.
800D is a little better, mostly if you tend to shoot moving things (sports, etc), but they are both great quality cameras.
Great review. Just got this camera for Mothers Day. I am happy I can use my other Canon lenses.
Awesome!!! Hope you enjoy. I have a link to a FB group in the video description so feel free to join and also grab some links to some of my fav/lenses accessories. If you are joining the FB group, just put that you saw this video on youtube and Dan told you to join so I know it's you and not spam lol
Just purchased this camera
Yeah, you mean it's "entry level". But think that there are people using those cameras on auto mode, or worst, real photographers that don't have enough money to buy it. People, try to be more humble!
i bought my first camera and it was a canon 400d 10.1 megapixel and i want a better camera with better quality i want to buy one and learn the camera and become one the best. i want to know if i take a great picture and i want to print the picture where do i go to do that
I m using this camera for a while and it's very good and can do everything we want but there is a one bad thing no 4k video and only has 50fps but otherwise everything is oky ✌
Which one better, 800d or m50?
Do you think its good For timelapse use
Would you recommend for a beginner in professional photography?
A beginner sure but if you want to get in to professional photography, you might want to step up. Unfortunately the upgrades from the T7i from Canon like the 80D and 7D Mark II are long overdue for updates so it's tough to recommend them. The Sony A6400 offers better quality for example.
Just grabbed one from Best Buy. Figure I'll play with it for 14 days, then return it and get my money back lol
Although, every time I make an impulse buy with that in mind, I end up liking the item so much that I keep it. The return policy and my plans to scam a 14 day "rental" is actually a very good way for me to lose my money. . .
Is there a battery grip for the T7i?
Hi Dan, very nice review. Does this camera have the same -3Ev AF in the central point as the 80D ? Thanks
Yep, center point is the same sensitivity. The SL2 has a much lower grade AF system without the -3EV but the T7i and 77D have it
Used power shot 530 s x h s still don’t know all features. But I’m. Thinking on this model . I do night day. Storms nature e c t . What package u suggest with A lenses option
Does this camera have Kelvin . Do we get audio level bars for monitoring audio in video recording.
which one is better in terms of photography?? sony a6000 or 800d
Very similar in terms of overall quality
what are the best lens for this camera for landscape photo
I’m thinking about getting this to do my videos with a ride mic I just sit while filming will this be a good choice? I thought about the Rebel.
Majority of the world is still below 1080p. This camera doesn't need 4K. It's gonna take about 2-5 years before people properly move to 4k
Even if you don't want to watch in 4k, there are TONS of advantages to shooting in 4k. The quality is better because most cameras can do a full pixel readout rather than binning, the footage is better for noise reduction or adding effects since there is more detail, you can crop and stabilize in post without losing quality...all kinds of things
Hi Dan... what lens did you use for that sea side shots? They are amazing!
Thanks! Was using this: amzn.to/2qmV6jU
Great wide angle if you don't have $600 for something better
Dan Watson totally worth spending on a wide angle lens.. Great shot
What lenses do I need to this camera to improve performance
great review man but damn, that music i annoying as fuck! hahah
I'm new to all of this but I am looking for a camera that would take great shots of sunsets and moon/stars...will this do that?
Absolutely the camera will do that but getting a great moon/stars shot will require you to shoot manual and certain lenses are better for that
Which lens did you used to take photos in the beginning of the video.
Hey man, I'm subscribed and even have notifications on for the new videos by you. Love your content but I'm getting annoyed by the volume of you music "breaks" while showing some footage. It's way louder than your speech. Maybe it's only me but I'm watching tons of YT videos and most of tubers have this leveled nicely. Sorry, I just don't see a point with increasing the volume this way. Keep up the great work!
Good to know. I lowered it a few DB but maybe I need a few more DB to level things out better. Thanks for the heads up and for the sub!
A6300 with 50mm 1.8 or canon800d 50mm 1.8 --- having trouble which one to buy as to photography and future references. Whats your suggestion man?? Thanks!!!
The A6300 is slightly better quality for photos and way better for video so probably that one. The big advantage to the 800D is a flip screen, familiar design/function, and better inexpensive lenses.
I see the T7i here in the US at BestBuy for mid $700 prices, but I see online (Newegg) labelled as the 800D going for quite a a bit (several hundred dollars) less. Are these the same thing?
They are but the 800D is the international version so non US version. Probably will not have a warranty attached
I plan to get the Canon t7i but which lens would you recommend for portrait photography? 50mm 1.4 or 85mm 1.8 for a beginner
Awesome! The 50mm F1.4 would be the best as the 85mm will be a bit long on the T7i since it has a crop factor
Which camera should I buy Nikon d5600 or canon 800d mostly for portraits ???
Technically the D5600 is slightly better quality but I the T7i is going to be a better camera if you plan on using live view which I think is about useless on the D5600
Hi Dan I am vivek from India and am a entry level photographer, and my prime use is for photography
So pls suggest me
Nikon 5600 dual lens
Or
Canon T7i
Which is better?
The D5600 has slightly better image quality but shooting video or using live view are SO much better with the T7i that I would only pick up the Nikon if you never plan on doing that.
Dan Watson thanks dan
What lenses do you recommend for beginners?
Get the 50mm F1.8 STM for sure. These are some of my favorites: kit.com/learningcameras/best-gear-for-canon-eos-dslr-cameras
which camera are uh using for shooting this video??!
I just order mine today from Best Buy I spent 900.99 it’s a kit I get a mic 2 lens and battery pack with battery and a strap and a bag with it :) they didn’t have it in store so I had to order mine I’ll get it Wednesday.
Awesome!!! Feel free to hit me up ideally on instagram if you have any questions @learningcameras
Dan Watson sure will :) I’m super excited about getting my photography business going :) now that I’m getting a good camera :)
what is the camera brand videoing you and what is the light set up?
Please please please match the music loudness to the speech
so is it worth ?
What do u prefer when it comes to all over image quality and colours...and quality in low light d5600 or 800d?
Image quality in general is better on the D5600 although I have a slight preference to Canon colors. But when it comes to features and shooting experience, the 800d is better
Dan Watson can u make head to head comparison of it plz?
Is It suitable for wedding?
The image quality is technically OK if you use decent lenses but I personally only recommend higher end cameras with metal bodies, weather sealing, and dual cards. Also you should use constant F2.8 zoom lenses and primes since most weddings are in low light...ideally metal with weather sealing
Thanks a lot , but people here doesn't pay as much as you think in weddings , plus it rarely rain here only few times per year 😃😃
Hi there, do you still recommend this entry-level camera or do you have an updated recommendation? I would like to graduate to a camera so I can stop filling my iPhone with nature shots. But, I'd also like to shoot videos when I'm in trips.
Hey. So right now if your budget is under $500-700, I would just update your phone to the latest and greatest and you can beat the quality of many entry level cameras with that...especially if you shoot video. Some entry level cameras like the Canon T series are still solid for photos especially if you want to edit your images in post. But the Canon R50 is the main camera i would recommend for starting out these days : bhpho.to/4701C2Y
I purchased the EOS R10.
What would be a good first DSLR for about £500?
Check out the Nikon D3300 or Canon Sl2
Is it worth moving from the t5i to the t7i?
Yes and no. There were a bunch of real improvements in both quality and features especially with autofocus so absolutely consider that upgrade. However, the T5i is still fine so I wouldn't upgrade until the T7i is on a nice sale of $750 or less. I actually prefer the deal on the 77d right now...its definitely worth paying $50 more for it bhpho.to/2FFoiNQ
@@learningcameras Thanks, Dan.

Unboxing Tech canon 1dx mark ii does 4k60
Bro please suggest me....on your opinion ...which would be the best SL2 or T7i ( 200d or800d ).
T7i for sure unless you ONLY use live view and never want to use the optical viewfinder
D5600 vs 7ti which one have good image quality plz tell me i want to choose one both of them....
I would probably get the T7i as it has better autofocus in live view and video while offering nearly identical image quality to the Nikon
Ty dan watson...
Which general lense would you recommend for this?
Just added a comment above with my recommended lenses!
We're here for the review about the camera, not to hear the music. If I wanted to hear music, I have channels that I will go to for that purpose only. I don't understand how the music is helping in any way.
Hi please I intend to change my camera for you tube shooting ! Please kindly suggest a very good camera for such use .
The Canon T7i would definitely be my recommendation. Super easy to use, has a flip screen for self shooting, and great autofocus. Check out my favorite lenses and accessories for the T7I: bit.ly/2zKZvjZ
