    I dont remember where I go this tip from but its a good one. You can map the filter cutoff of your hihats to a knob and just ride the knob for a some bars or a verse or the song. It can make a very plain pattern come alive. It's a joy to see you work.

These are like the goose that laid the golden egg to me. I cannot wait to dig deep into this 10th wonder of a machine. I get so excited watching these videos, and you helping me learn by teaching me how to use this baby, is simply amazing, for real. I can't stop thinking about this and the bke beat thang too, but this is on the market, and I have been waiting for this machine my whole entire life, and now it is a reality. Thanks again, I'll owe you one then, and I will give you a shout out when I get on. Look out for me then...

Please lmk if theres a setting to change or how i can adjust multiple midi notes velocity at once? thanks!

    Great video and great teacher, I'm a big fan of your channel! I know this is off topic, but i'm curious about the round / mellow / warm sub bass at the end, you use (that dilla/madlib style of bass). I've spent hours of trying to emulate that sound e.g. in Monark, then saturate it and then refilter with low pass again. When filtering too much, it is missing the low end. Any advice or tutorial about this type of bass would be really helpful. I know you probably use a sample, but how do you edit it to sound so fat? Thanks!

  • @marceloribeirosimoes8959
    @marceloribeirosimoes8959 2 года назад

    Thank you.
    But you can assign the velocity to the attack position.
    This makes them harder, = more transient / softer you hit = less transient because of the sound will start from after the transient...

    You cant create 'Swing' thru 'Velocity, velocity does not move events L/R on the Graph, it has to do with Volume. (:54 in to video) ....you probably mean the using the 'velocity grid, just trying to polish whats 'heard, facts are important with many listeners. Great Video BTW! Fast - Great View - To the point!!
