In IRL claims that should be the case, but in WT? nah, it starts to feel like flying a stock performance Ju-87 D3 with max payload... and everytime you turn... you just dont lmao
I know that my comment is a bit late to the party, but you definitely can fly 335 on a single engine in WT. You just need to turn on manual engine control and then feather the propeller on a dead engine, so it doesn't create air drag. You can even take off on one engine using this trick (if strip length allows it and there's no trees/hills behind it).
Last time I steamrolled a team with this beast gaijin had lowered it to 5.0 or 4.7. the satisfaction of clipping the wings of a B-17 orbital bomber with the 30mm is in another level.
How did you find so many bombers? Whenever I play the do (the b2, maybe that's the problem) I just get clapped by swarms of super corsairs, and the few bombers there are are soon killed by ta 152s :(
I did this once and for some reason the entire team was acting like they were bombing Dresden. So the enemy team was mostly bombers and they all grouped up so after my second pass I hardly had a plane to fly
Enemy switched to gunner view and forgot about evasive action. Tip: bind a key to toggle control mode so you can cycle through control modes in battle. When you're a bomber getting chased by fighters, switch to anything thats not mouse aim and maneuver your plane using keyboard while in gunner mode.
A Do-335 once went head on against my Ki-102 otsu. Big mistake - there's always someone with more firepower - 57mm in this case. Frankly speaking, I was lucky. Had I missed that shot, well goodbye to me then.

Actually, Not really. I play this plane so many times for 3-4 years. But using single engine is just little bit more power than gliding.
I believe it's only a certain orientation that means you can fly with only one propeller, I think it's the rear gone but the front still intact.

Its a completion clip. Most of games I only saw 1 to 2 bombers. Played 20 to 50 games for make this video.
