the pe-8 is a monster against bases if you use it right. use the 40x100kg bomb loadout, and it's a guaranteed 2 bases destroyed. i always manage to land, rearm, and get at least one big drop on the airfield too. paired with boosters, it made grinding almost nonexistent for early ussr when i was going through the tree

The A5 saber,Javelin and the French plane that tries to be a saber (can't remember the name) are faster . The ammo pool is low and after that one update that nerfed cannons the 37mm just sparks people and you need to hit them 3 times for it to give you a "Critical damage" which is like damage of the right flap or some bull shit

8:03 over here, I recommend get Su-9 first cause its very good. Then grind and aim for Yak-23. That plane is monster when it comes to out turn fighting enemies. OR if you dont have Yak-23 then you can go for the Mig-15 and the Mig-15 bis. I recommend directly to get mig-15 bis cause the performence difference between both planes are very significant.
The yak 7B and the yak9K are my personal favourites they don't turn as well but with flaps and those 20 and 37mm cannons they can rip things apart easy
Mig 15 is a reasonably good fighter, getting up to speed may be hard but it retains that speed great. The cannons are hard to aim but one hit will melt anything.

Bruh I was so fed up using USA tech tree. It's absolutely impossible for a newbie to get kills.. But I gave USSR tech tree a try and man, I got 8 kills and 5 assists in that match😂
I use two gunpods next to the cockpit on eachside and then 4 s5k rocket pods. They are enough for one base and give a lot of points. And then 2 missiles. U can also use 6 rocket pods if you want to kill more groundtargets/ bases. I hug myself against the ground I try to stay with fighters so if you and the others get attacked the fighters fight eachother and you can fly to your base and maybe shoot a missile on someone unexpected. There is one desert map that’s pretty small. That map is op.
"mode for advanced players" in my experience that just isnt true, its just full of assholes that are extremely easy to annoy, arcade will always be more fun but realistic is nice for the rp

Overall, it's hard to play without premium planes. If you want, you can buy Su-25K or Mig-23, but it depends on whether you want to grind or play normally.

if you got the su25bm from the summer grind use the kh29t TV missle with the kab500 tv bombs. if you didnt you are shit out of luck and honestly instead of grinding the tree just use the su22 squadron vehicle. apparently the soviet union forgot what a strike aircraft was after world war two so the earliest one you can get after rank 4 is in rank 6 which is like a 5 br difference. so basically if you are playing in any ground battle rating between 5 and 10.3 you are fucked.
I have to say I disagree with lots of this. MiG 15, 17 and 19 are some of the best dogfighters at their BR. 15 and 17 just vertical loops and whoever follows is dead meat. Hitting needs some practice though. Custom battles and test flights are worth spending time on. Once you got a feeling for where you need to aim (I'd guess 25% more lead than average) youll be sniping people left and right. Also Yak line isn’t a smart choice in the long run currently
Bro the reserves are the best in the game. It took me 515h in total but only 350h with premium account (no planes) to rech the mig 23. but I also have rank 4 Germany planes and tiger and panther tanks and all rank 2 Sweden planes and half rank 2 Amerika plane and tanks and I also have ussr tanks rank 1-3 everything spaded. So in total u need 300h with premium account to reach the mig 29 and another 50h to get to the su 27 I think. So 400h for almost the entire Techtree. 😊
