Don’t you have that auto deploy troller motor thing, that would have turned that into a Boss mode type situation in a quick hurry… but respect for posting your mishap, makes it easier to connect with people thru videos when they are humble. Tight lines brother
I ran a Bravo on my triton for a while after running a fury 3 25 pitch. I ran a 28 bravo at the same RPM WOT. I lost a few MPH but like you discovered it would take a corner harder than my partner felt comfortable with. He was hanging on for dear life until he realized it wasn’t going to blow out. I also discovered that prop liked to run higher, almost even with the pad running wide open where the fury ran better 2” or so below the pad.
1. There is not proper on the market, no matter brand, no matter price they are not balanced. 2. Different outside detentions play a big roll. Think the fury 4 is like 14 3/4. 3. Your blow out holes make a big difference as well. On the 4 blade no matter the brand I start out with all the plugs out. That differs with 2-4 strokes as well. I would definitely play with that. 4. Rpm’s are everything! I only tune them in in cooler water then usually drop one pitch in the summer. If your not within 200 rpm’s of the rev limiter in ideal conditions, I would say you could always gain some more performance. 5. Every hull is different!
I've been on the water since I was a Infant . And at one time was the Bass fisherman to beat in my area ! I hung out with one of the store and slip owners ( Reed Scott) on the water and he raced on the weekend all over the south in the Bass boat class ! Reed was crazy ! 98 MPH with both of us in the boat ! And I've seen A LOT OF crazy ! But I got to say ,,, You,,,and that boat is like watch magic ! I've never seen a boat handle that well and you having Total control and knowing where " That Line" is ! This Video would be Great to Advertise Loop in a " Falcon " or "" Bravo" or Mercury Dealership ! That was Bad ass !
Mac from Anderson. 2021 F20 predator. 4 blade 24p Fury. Two Saturdays ago running up Seneca, trim on 4 - 4.5, Atlas jack plate up on 5, chimming a little bit, got 73.
Run a 20TE with the fury 23p 3blade. Out of the hole it’s worse than the 4 but I get better top end 73-74 consistently. And since the Friday nighters are shotgun blastoff I need that top end! Lol better handling in turns for sure with the 4 blade. 24p is too much for my boat, tried and removed quickly
I’ve done it once brother and yes I went swimming for my boat smh. I’ve also try to boat flip a 4lber and the line snapped and their goes me falling backwards into to water Worst part about it. It was during winter and it was cold. The fastest fishing trip I’ve ever had.
Not running a falcon but same size boat and motor, went from a 3 blade fury to a bravo1 and it was night and day between the holeshot and midrange. I dont care too much about top end as I run a heavily loaded boat.
Bravo is an excellent prop and is what I run as well! I tried the fury 4 and for me it felt really stiff in corners and didnt really perform that much different than my fury 3 but slower…. This is on a caymas cx20
I have that same prop on my boat. Im running a 2023 tracker pro team TXW 195 with the Mercury 150 pro XS and im getting 55 to 58 mph all day long. Its just fast enough to get me where I need to be.
07:10 what is that rattling noise? Is that prop chatter? I have the same thing happen with my motor it seems to happen during turns and when slowing down some
I run a stainless 4 blade on my little 60hp. I don't have a killer hole shot because I don't feel hole shot means much . A second or two difference means nothing to me. The top end cruising speed and how well it grips and doesn't blow out os everything.
We had a high school tournament a few weeks ago on Chatuge a few weeks ago and it was hot. Late in the day, full tank of gas, full live wells, and 3 of us the boat (Caymas CX19 w/ 225 Pro XS) would barely get out of the hole. I was worried that something was wrong. Took it out the next morning and it ran fine. Have you ever seen the air and water temp affect a boat like that? I have not had the boat out when it was that hot before.
Hub sizes are different, usually 4 blades have smaller hubs. If I were you, I’d send your 3 blade off to Mark Croxton in Indiana. He’s the best. He can make that factory Merc 3 blade balanced and run great. No two props out of Mercury are the same
I just watched the video and never heard what your rpm were at wot. Do you remember what they were? I have a f20 with the merc and have been run the 3 blade fury that come on them. I have tried a couple of the cheaper 4 blade props and I don’t like the feed back I get in the steering wheel.
I run the Fury 3 blade 24p. Falcon 21TE Merc 250 PROXS. I get 69mph in the summer. 72mph in the winter. Hole shot varies on livewell water etc. The Predator runs completely different. I notice even on mine, when i turn, i lose grip. I hate it.
My brother, a bit of boating wisdom I will bestow upon you… Tag Line your boat when launching on your own and NEVER go for a swim to retrieve your rig. Tie a rope just long enough to clear your trailer by 6' and it can go all the way in the water and you just grab the end off your trailer and tie it down. But I know… Where's the fun in that??!?? LOLOL
That's about all your going to get out of that boat if you run a heavy load.If you want to have it worked for better top end, send it to Croxton. But you won't gain much
@@CameronCox_Fishing 80mph on public water with no training or markers is more difficult than the average Joe can handle. Have you not seen or heard of boat fatalities?
@Tea4Texas I have, and most of them are younger people. I'm 16. I got a bass boat that'll get well over 80, if your not stupid, nothing should happen. You just gotta know how to drive them correctly
I respect a man that admits he went swimming for his boat. Love your content man. One of my favorite s

On a workday after a long holiday weekend, I stopped work and watch this video… The intro made me laugh out loud thank you Brian😎🎣🐟💦
Great video!! We need to hear that Merc work. Mount your cam next to motor. BLat for the win

had that same prop on my stratos-bravo1 fs- it was an awesome prop for everything but top speed and reverse
That's a damn good prop. I'll take hole shot and control over top speed any day of the week.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
The boat was ready to go and the captain was not ready to go. LOL!!!

Me too, V-18 Tracker Tournament with a 150 pro xs 2 stroke. 55-58mph, but the hole shot is unreal. Not much can touch it from start.

Holeshot, and grip 4 blade, top end, 3 blade.

Do you not trim down when u want to tighten up ur turns? Let the fins of the boat pull u around
What hub kit did you get with that prop?
I’ll take two please!😅

I don’t like the 3 blade on this boat. My best props are the fury 4 and this one in the video. If money ain’t a think I definitely suggest the bravo.
@@BrianLatimerFishing marks propellors has a great 4 blade also razor xlr is the name
mark mostly closing after the end of the year also fyi

drop the poles when it comes off the trailer next time!
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾Man !!!!
@blat what prop size you running?

The 3 blade sucks on out hill in my opinion. This one stays hooked up all the way through turns
Hurricane creek???

He said i cruise at 40 to 45. Shit, my boat max speed is 40. Lol😂
😂😂 same! And then if I have passengers, they telling me slow it down. Been tryna tell them 40 ain’t nothing compared to how pros run
My props are made by Nike
I don’t believe you, let me test drive it. 😅😅😅
that dude running down 6&20 like a scalded dog!!!! lol
Wax the bottom of your boat
That actually slows it down. It creates more surface tension on the hull
These boats are ridiculously dumb and dangerous for everyone.
How😂
