Small correction: While a light year IS a measure of distance, that distance is how far it takes light to travel in a year, therefore CAN theoretically also be used to measure time.
So, barring God’s ability to do whatever and however He wishes with His creation, if a star were 12,000 light years away, then it took 12,000 years for that light to reach us, and any light it produces today would not arrive for another 12,000 years.
As such, it is LIKE looking back in time when we look at the stars.
a small correction for you: distance between stellar masses do not remain constant for the most part. this is due to gravity and expansion of the universe. within the local group of galaxies, the expansion is not apparent but the gravity can cause the objects to get farther away or get closer towards each other. for example, the moon is moving away from earth by about 3.8cm per year. between groups of galaxies, they are getting further away through expansion. in fact, some are getting further away at a rate faster than the speed of light so we can never get there even theoretically. so that star that is 12,000 light years away NOW may not have been 12,000 light years away 12,000 years ago. so what you see NOW is not exactly 12,000 years ago.
A scientific model is a best interpretation of the available data. When new data is verified to conflict with that model, then the interpretation must be adjusted to account for that data. Somtimes there is no current unification of data into a single model. For instance classical, relativity and quantum physics are all accurate interpretations of physics based on what they are describing. Relativity dos not disprove classical physics, and quantum physics does not disprove relativity. They all describe different phenomenon. Yet they don't line up together at the edges where they might have overlap. Obviously, I'm not a scientist, but thats my understanding of it.
New and conflicting data should always be welcomed, because it ultimately means a greater understanding of the universe.

It is possible to do IVF and produce only a limited number of eggs. It is also possible to carry all the embryos one by one and have that number of children.

Not even 3 minutes in, and we are already wrong about physics and general relativity. Pretty easy thing to show too. Light moves at a constant speed, it does not move any faster and neither can any material reach the speed of light. To say that we are looking at something that is X # of light years away, you MUST consider how long it took the light to get here from there, meaning that you are by default looking at that thing as it was when the light left it however many years ago. Space and time are thus connected and are two parts of the same thing. The speed of light can also be viewed as the speed of causality, as information cannot move any faster than the speed of light either. Honestly simple stuff, that you so adamantly propose that we are ONLY looking at things that are so far away and that we are NOT looking at how they are back in time means one of two things: Either 1, you do not understand the bare bones basics of relativity and causality, &/or 2, you are intentionally misleading people. It's rather easy to prove the Bible through science. I'm not sure what you're referring to, but there's a lot of ways to prove it through animal formation to irrevocable complexity, the sun moon being able to eclipse I can go on. History proves the Bible even more with archeology being extremely (almost perfectly) in line with Biblical accounts including the parting of the red sea, the mountain on fire, Noah's ark etc. Even those that seem like a stretch have the ruins of a ship in the mountains with the exact measurements of the Ark, a mountain with rocks burnt on one side and with archeological carvings of bulls below it, and Egyptian pottery and chariot axles in the middle of the red sea corralled over from the thousands of years.
Human ribs are unusual because they can heal and regrow on an exceptional level when removed. They are often used for bone grafts because of this. Things just kinda formed from earthquakes and things bumping into eachother until one day this factory was complete to how we see it today”
Everything about the universe is orderly and perfect and precise. If gravity was just a fraction of a percentage weaker, everything would float away and be chaotic, if it was slightly stronger, everything would crash into eachother,
We are perfectly distant and yet perfectly close to the sun,
And lastly the idea of free will… if everything truly was random and chaotic and we just formed, the idea of free will just doesn’t make any sense. We would ONLY be programmed based on instinct, but we aren’t, we can chose to do literally anything and think critically, even many animals to an extent.
You might argue “no, they only rely on instinct” but many people who own pets know that isn’t true. We’ve seen our dogs and cats do odd behaviors and really interesting things that clearly aren’t instinct.
Everything in this universe is way too perfect and systematic to be random
Since we live in a systematic universe it’s impossible to imagine an oposite one. I have an idea in my head but it’s hard to put it in words

Yes, he has no clue what he's talking about.
@@teks-kj1nj Actually, he knows what he's talking about, you either don't understand what he's referencing or you don't believe he's correct in what he's saying. When God made Adam on the 6th day, that became Adam's "birthday" as far as humanity is concerned, though he wasn't born in the traditional sense. If you were to have seen him, Adam I mean, a week later, he would appear to be a (30 year old?) human and you would never be able to reconcile that he's only 7 days old by using a naturalistic world view. JWST is seeing farther into space than we've ever seen before and what it's showing us there, completely debunks the theories currently postulated by the naturalistic and evolutionarily world views. The "big bang" cannot be the start of the universe once you compare the findings of JWST to the best models available and that sends science right back to the drawing board looking for a way to explain what we're seeing without allowing any room for a Creator. The biggest assumption that current science makes is that they believe "things are, as they've always been, and that things have always been, as they are" (things like the speed of light and gravity I mean). I'm not saying that the speed of light has changed because I have no way of testing that but if it has changed, that would completely throw off all our models and it would also mean we could never arrive at the truth. We'd forever be second guessing ourselves. So, I believe he's saying, at moment 2:44, what is stated in Isaiah 40:21 that, "(God) stretches out the heavens like a curtain". Now if you look at it from that point of view, the amount of time that's transpired for the light from those distant stars and galaxies is called into question and pulled into focus. Because if, like Adam, the heaven's were made and set on their course by God, then we will never arrive at the truth through science and observation because we were not there to observe the things that are different than what we can observe today/now. We are and will always be second guessing. The only thing left for us to do is to take it on faith and since the only Witness to those events left us as much information as we're ever going to get on the subject, I place my faith in Him. You may say that you don't believe in the creation account and it would be a gullible fool who did, but understand we, all of us, come from the same position; we all believe in how we got here by faith. You believe that Neil DeGrasse Tyson or Richard Dawkins, or Darwin have the truth of it. But, if you're being honest, you have to take their word for it (take it on faith) because it's very unlikely you did all the necessary research and fact checking to ensure they didn't get it wrong. What it all comes down to is either God (not subject to time, space, or matter) spoke and created from nothing, all that we see OR, that nothing (without time, space, or matter), acted on nothing and created all that we see. Those are our only options and both require faith. I'd say that second actually requires considerably more faith than the first.

The problem with IVF is it removes the natural selection process of the healthy sperm getting to the egg. Often people can't have kids, because there is a health issue, or a genetic issue that makes it not possible to have a kid, which is why IVF often leads to a lot of genetic defects. So you could argue that selecting a specific egg goes somewhere to getting back to helping decrease the risk of IVF. That said, given it is a viable embroy, it is all a bit dodgy. The speed of light is the one constant. That was Einstein's main discovery.
Well their are three idea I have...
1. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters," how much time has passed between God creating the universe and God being about to start the 6 day creation of life on earth? So when people say earth is billions of years old, heck could be. As according to scripture earth was created at the beginning with heaven. It predates the 6 day creation. Or in other words enough time passed for light from far away stars to reach earth.
2. "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth...And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." How old was Adam to be charged with multiplying and dominating the earth? It's safe to say he was not a newborn, nor was anything else God had created as even the fish and birds he commanded to multiply thus they had to have been of maturity to do so. So if life was created fully mature and functional, would it be safe to presume (hypothesis/theories) that all aspects of creation would also be accelerated in their development? In other words stars were created already casting light to there furthest reaches.
3. "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." Is it possible that photons were created in this instance being accelerated by the command of God for his purpose to be exactly as we would need them to be on earth as according to scripture God was on earth as he formed it to support life. Or in other words the light originated from here before even being cast from the stars.
The fact it takes light time to travel is objective fact, but the idea that light has always traveled at the same speed is not so much. As we know for a fact gravity and water can slow down light, thus we already know the speed can be affected. It is possible just like so many other things we have found to be true that were previously not known or thought to be impossible, that we may have simply not found an effect or material to speed up light... yet.
This doesn't really invalidate secular science, it just shows the current understanding was wrong. The answers to why will bring new discoveries. Science can't really make fully accurate conclusions because there are simply things we don't fully understand yet.
Concerning the IVF discussion, I'll have to disagree with you in part. Yes, freezing eggs, I believe is a unnatural way of forming a baby. But that being so does not negate the fact that selective breeding occurs. Selective breeding occurs before the sex act occurs which is in mate selection. We are choosing the kind of child we desire in mate selection according to what we like in our spouse. Furthermore, the attributes of our children are determined (partially) by our spouse (intelligence, skin tone, interests, height, etc). Two things can be true:
1. Genes are determined by one's parents.
2. Eugenics are wrong to create children in unnatural ways.
Tolerance? God is so tolerant he wiped out the world with a flood. Come on folks. Tolerance of evil is not love….
If he's good, he'll punish evil.
But when he punishes evil, he's evil?
Where in the Bible does it say YHWH God is 'Tolerant'.
Don't make the mistake a lot of atheists make by trying to quote a book you do not know. It just proves the ignorance of those that try.
As I recall, YHWH God is very strict, and for a reason! Look what is happening to the world right now. It's called 'Evil' folks! ☝️❤️
She speaks as though she can speak for God. God doesn't have a secretary and he doesn't need a translator for truth. God forgives our sins through Jesus Sacrifice. Therefore we should not nor do we have the power to judge others sins. If a soul has a connection with Christ our saviour than they shall be forgiven for their sin. Homosexual, unrighteous, sexually immoral, or not, if you believe and seek a relationship with Jesus, YOU ARE FORGIVEN. These people or anyone of us for that matter, do not have the right to attempt filling God's shoes and decipher good and evil, sin or not sin,or what's love and hate. The church serves the purpose to praise our lord and bring believers together, no matter there sin. How are we to know if allowing homosexual clergy could save a homosexual, by bringing them to know and love Jesus? This is, there for it is also part of God's plans. Each and everyone of you in this video are sinners in your own way, as we all are. Thank you God for Jesus and for allowing his sacrifice to give each and everyone of us a second chance to be in your grace, no matter which sin we commit. Don't help the devil spread these ideals that take God from anyone, anywhere. Be a true christian and spread the love of God, even if you personally disagree, don't let your ego dictate your actions, let God. Always.

@@Savagized_CoversAh yes, those ignorant atheists are who choose not to believe a fairytale over concrete scientific evidence. The Bible was written hundreds of years after the supposed death of Christ. Meaning the stories where passed down by word of mouth, and if you payed any attention in history class, means the stories are extremely unreliable, and the would be vastly different than how they started, but still you follow, and use this book as a guidance for life. Clearly you can’t be the ignorant one
Ugh, as an atheist and skeptic, i am not "panicking."
same, its science. And a whole lot of misunderstanding of the science here.
Non humanist/secularist here, agree with your assertion
@@nikorn24 she said that " hottest year of earth on record" is dishonest because we've only been recording since 1880s. It's not saying ever on earth it's saying since recorded.
That's willful gaslighting right there.
Climate change stuff has data problems but to willfully gaslight people is absolutely disgusting.

The JWST hasn't discovered anything remotely relevant to the Bible, so the whole premise is silly.
I guess the one day of Sunday school... even though I hated going. Was more profound in my lessons on life. More than 5 days a week in public school....but.. we still had the pledge of alegence when I was in elementary school...so...I was good on that part.. a time when people actually cared about each other.
Your video was muted until I replayed it in my videos. This has happened before.
The James Webb just confirmed that the oldest galaxies are like 13 billion years old.

It's what they do.

The one way speed of light means that those objects aren't a particular age, just a particular distance.
Why does this confirm the bible?
Because thery want it to.
It doesn’t
What's your theory of the world was formed etc? Is it thousand of years or billions of years?
The fact that a light year is 58 trillion miles long and takes our solar system 1,500 years to travel a light year doesn't really prove the existence of a young universe....
Considering the fact that the edge of our galaxy is 2 million lightyears away from the closest known galaxy.
And traveling only 6,960,000 miles a year, galaxies have took a heck of a long time to be that far away from eachother....
So yeah, and the telescope you are using also is the same telescope that is making scientists believe the universe is even older that they previously thought.
So yeah, not a lot is adding up there.
And as for the Diamonds, last time I checked the universe doesn't randomly have specialized scientific equipment, the universe only has random change and too sparse materials to make diamonds faster.
Also the Diamonds that scientists made are only the size of a Microscopic Virus, which still would take quite a long time for them to make fully sized diamonds.
I will leave that there and I will not be having any arguments here.
So I will just disappear now since I will be likely getting attacked in the comments.
YaY! I'm the guy who posted "James _Hacksaw"_ last week. Glad to know my posts are read.
