You realize these videos are fake, right? The dude just puts dirt on his consoles and says they're broken. If you want a REAL restoration channel, watch Odd Tinkering. He doesn't make clickbait thumbnails and he shows the arduous process of cleaning the console.

Great job. PS1 was the first console I ever opened, but I just replaced the shell, didn' t fix it because it was functional. I liked the UV light part, and the sabling device, the screwdriver you are using was my first type of screwdriver that I got, I have it as a set and mine is called 'Impacter'. Keep it up.
Just this second acquired a supposedly working psx pal from my uncles loft. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the power or the A/V cable or a controller, but I’ve been assured it’s up there with a yellow memory card. After a quick spruce, I’ve found some yellowing. So undecided on to treat it, or make a custom psx. Definitely gonna be dropping a PixelFX G.E.M mod in like my n64.
We kinda have the same model number but mine is a 7501 model without the av ports. I already fix mine just replace the laser that's it an easy fix. the only issue I hate is the overheating that it has
Ironically, back in 2000 when I had my PS1. I also put a Pikachu sticker on it not knowing it was a Nintendo exclusive IP. I only watch the animated show but I was never a Nintendo fan, just a pure Playstation gamer.
This looks very fishy, no dirt or dust or lint inside , the parts look very clean, but the outside looks dirty but not, looks like its painted on you can see brush marks , iv watch a few from Restoration EG and they looked genuine ,but this one looks 'fishy'?
I was going to say the same. We can clearly see brush marks all over the console shell and if you take a close look at the memory card slots you realize they aren't dirty at all.

Xbox jasper kronos with internal memory. It randomly lose power no matter if it was boot into xell or dashboard, with or without DVD/HHD. Sometime, the fan turned of, no image out, but the yellow power light still on. Push the power button will turned it off and another push will not turn it back on. I needed to unplugged powersupply for about10 seconds and plug it back before it can be turn on. HDD made more screeching noise when it lose power than when it was shut down properly. What do you think is the problem? Tried switching between rgh 1.2 rgh 3.0, and high wattage xenon power supply didn’t fix it. If you could I helped me, I would be very thankful and a jasper will be saved from junkyard. I worked on it for 3 months and out of idea now.
PSA: If an electric device starts smoking when you provide electricity, don't knock and push it around for a few seconds like an ape. Pull the fucking plug. ☝
Yes, Isopropyl alcohol removes oils, adhesives, fingerprints, soldering flux, and other contaminants, making it ideal for cleaning electronics. However, it is important to note that only alcohol with a grade of 90% or more should be employed on circuit boards and other internal electronics. Commonly, 99% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is used on electronics for cleaning circuit boards and reworking components (removal of flux). In the US, 91% is common at pharmacies and some use 91%, being careful to dry the board thoroughly, removing any excess water, using canned air or a conditioned air compressor line.
Why did you deliberately add the "dirt" on the outside and small stones on the inside? Just to make for a more obvious transformation? You'll lose credit fast walking down this path. A shame really, because your restauration methods are pretty decent.

Tell me you haven't watched fake restoration videos without telling it... This PS1 had a faulty capacitor which CANNOT happen by just "putting dirt on it". This is called "dielectric breakdown". The insulation between the + and - foil plates is cracked
So did the original owner swipe the console along his/ her butt crack to create those nice brown bits for you to remove? Just have to ask as I have my PS1 from September 199? when it was first released in the UK and it has absolutely none of these markings or shite on it to this day.

The strange housing and PCB is the SCPH-1002 model, and sold with the SCPH-7502 sticker 😳
14:57 funny, but this is not SCPH-7502 as shown by the sticker. It is SCPH-1002. Cinch connectors, antenne out, and laser it's closer to PSU.

Was that a DK oldies sticker? Cause then it makes sense 😂
