Man I just bought a couple of new era 9forty.. it seems to have the hologram…. It the stitching around the headband there’s x2 where my older one there’s x3 (your video seems to have genuine ones with x2 rows also?) The main issue that’s lead me here is that the new hat I’ve purchased (compared to the older one x3 years ago).. the build quality seems to have gone done hill a bit..

Yes when I feel some of dad older hats they just feel heavier and softer and just better quality the only thing a can say I do like about newer hat they have very nice embroidery work and creative designs.

Thank you for your video. I've had a 7 3/8 for over about 15 years and have decided it's time to replace it. I bought 2 used online because they were cheap and one is way too small and one is slightly tight so I was wondering if any of them were fakes. Looking at what you've mentioned all 3 seem genuine so I don't really understand the size difference.
@@HatCentral it's crazy that they're sold as a specific size when they don't actually have that circumference. I measured about half an inch difference between the largest and smallest caps despite them all supposedly being 7 3/8 🤔
I don’t care about this guy what he says about the video but I think it’s better to buy from China suppliers because they’ve been doing way better quality than the new era brand. I’m not sure if you guys noticed but they’ve been using cheap shit and the quality of bad, I’ll never buy from them anymore. I will just keep buying the replicas because they do last more
@@HatCentralobviously someone that tries to justify spending $5 on fake crap rather than $40-$50 on a real one. There are literally people out there that thinks anything over $10 is overpriced. Hence why all the websites selling Chinese crap is so popular lol
3:32 fake (the hologram is horizontal and it is very different from the original one!) holograms should be placed only vertically, from about 2020 it was done at the top, until 2020 at the bottom on the tag! on the original tags, all vertical lines are made in waves, on non-original ones, all strokes are flat! but there are also fakes similar in lines, only they have the main new era tag inside on the sports tape white and black, when it should be black and white!on a black background is a white flag of the new era and on a white background is a black inscription of the new era! on the tag where it is written what is made of, there is a check mark in some words, if you look at the tag 3:32 where the fake is there they are not there! and it's not just that it's made somewhere dark, so that it's not so obvious! the tags on the originals where the composition of what it is made of is all embroidered and there is a sustained distance and there are such small stripes in the letters and the font is special, it is simply printed on the fake and very close to each other! there are still many differences there! sox and low profile original!(3:12-3:29)
The shiny strip under the sweat band as well as the invisible “ne” logo on the hologram tag on the brim that’ll only show up under UV light. I promise you no fake seller will ever put the effort to copy that lol. It’s sad how people are buying fakes with no shame now. Last but not least…. They can copy the design all they want, but the quality as well as texture will never compare.
only green/grey/black have any history to actual ball. it's so the blue sky glare doesn't interfere with your vision since you're wearing a hat. Everything else is just a trend for fashion with all these fruity colorways.

What website do you buy the Original newEra hats from?? You should also so a wash test on fakes and real
I either buy at new era,lids,but have recently been using Hat heaven a lot great sale prices $20 hats If they have sales.

Are there caps that don't have the hologram thing? I have a New Era Stussy cap that I'm 99% sure is genuine, but it doesn't have it.
