I’m interested in on how you made your hat molded out of the tape. Instead of buying one I would like to make one myself the same as you did what materials did you use? I can see you used brown plastic tape, but what’s under it on the inside?
Hello!!! can you help me? I have a Gucci velvet baseball cap and they crushed it. I don't know how to remove the marks from the top of the brim because it is silk velvet. help please successes
Might have been a hat form. I bought a wooden one on eBay. I think they were typically used to make cowboy hats. And you have to wrap them in something like you see in his video here. Otherwise the wood bleeds into the fabric when you apply the steam. I have mine wrapped in tin foil, but I’m sure there are other things that work.
I'm from Colombia (Bogotá), and some people, (not all), can kill you just for your old school cap, because this clothing is considered very underground and of great value to certain urban tribes, although obviously there is its loyal audience who Collect and share your caps out of hobby or love of this art of the collection...
New era The 5950 aun venia. Con la etiqueta Made In Usa, de Los Bravos de Atlanta en una tienda de segunda mano y aquí estoy para aprender a restaurarla es hermosa ... saludos
Urban tribes? More like thugs. Bogotá literally created a whole new economy of old caps by attributing values way over the minimum wage of the country to them, ironically most of the people who do care about them are mostly gang members who as you said: will kill to steal and sell them. It's funny cause once you get out of Bogotá the caps are almost worthless to most people and return to their real price, it's a whole new ecosystem in Bogotá. There are some collectors who are normal people but for the most part this Is a YN type of business
You can get killed in America over a cap sunglasses a chain a dollar bill in your pocket or anything else too. This is part of our culture not just hip-hop culture but American culture and many others, etc..
