at least they have a last happy footage of his son, his voice, happiness...where they can remember him. Many people forget to record their loved ones and then start to forget their smile, voice, sound....
They say that we hold these memories of loved ones for thirty years, but I think that it can be longer.

He went over the falls and drowned from what I hear. It's super easy to get caught in current that is like a washing machine under falls. There was a kid that died near me after going over dam that is 4ft tall. Everyone was in denial and shock over his death and refused to accept what happened. Especially since it's such a small drop. But low head dams are notorious killers
I love swimming there and I live like 15 mins away from it!! It’s a rocky place and the water so damn cold so he probably got hypothermia and then wasn’t a good swimmer bc it’s pretty deep trust me!! But rest easy bro!!

It was likely discarded because of water damage. What matters is the memory card was intact.
@Joe Casson yes I ASSumed when they showed the RUclipsr holding the smashed GoPro at the end talking about how he was glad he could help the parents of the deceased man get some closure. 🤦
If anything, the parents might have told him to help them get the videos off the card and save them intact and he can have the broken gopro if he wants it. Its def no use to them and they would throw it out. The thing could be resurrected in the right hands for pretty cheap.

If you have absolute clairvoyance, power, knowledge etc. saving people or anything in general from terrible situations hardly seems like a daunting task, more like a side hobby at most. So why not do it? No reason not to. And if it's somehow too much for you, simply delegate. The way god is described, sounds like an irresponsible and lazy father.
Scientists can create life as far as I know, on a limited scale. But if you're implying all life came from a lab, that's just silly.

Wtf are you really talking about? That comment makes no sense. That family wanted answers for years and finally got them. Also they got to see their son happy before he died. They probably didn't watch that final clip all the way through, but rather watched him being happy in his last days. I'd be happy to and celebrate with whoever found it.
