This same effing sh*t happens if you take too long to defeat the bk ("too long" being merely 6 effing turns when he has bs defenses and regen while you deal max 9 damage per phase and CAPPED STRENGHT) and it pisses me off because I was ONE hit away from defeating him, but Nasir has to stroll in like a jackass Leeroy Jenkins style and give me the bad ending
I was glad I defeated the Black Knight on my first run in Difficult mode. What got me was that I didn't use Mist much at all, which added a bit of a challenge.
Yeah, I had to do this on my play through, Ike wasn’t gonna be able to do ANYTHING to the Black Knight, he’d get killed instantly. I always assumed you were meant to flee. I mean everyone was like “don’t push yourself Ike” so I assumed they were making the player make the choice to flee to make it more impactful (which it totally was, I was distraught lol) but then I was really disappointed Ike never got a rematch with him (in PoR at least, only just started RD)
Funny how fates says it has paths to choose. But older games like ike and marth and alm show the consequences of the war and people reactions if they die
ivanbluecool despite some of fates shortcomings i feel it did show some consequences of war better than some games, look at how the nohrian and hoshidan siblings react when corrin chooses the other, xander and takumi in particular lose their fucking shit simply because of how betrayed they felt. Not to mention that in this case of path of radiance, despite the consequences it ultimately doesnt do much in the end result of the story. Sure nasir dies, but they move on, defeat ashnard and save crimea and the game only really give a few extra scenes of dialogue to show for it that can be easily skipped
James it was hyled up like the choices you make and the decisions in each path would affect the story. Its only three paths and not choices. While valentia and shadow dragon have the characters reactions to events happening instead. I still like fates. Just stating the let down of the false promise. Like with Tokyo mirage. Good game. But it was so different from their original idea
Jacob Tailleur I know right. Also ryouma loses it as he would let Elise die just to get corrin back. A little girl who can't fight but only heal die. Takumi has a reasons to get pissed as he was built up to get mad at corrin. The fire emblem cd shows saizo helped spread this mindset when he sees you in the first chapters. Xander I see as angry but following orders. If he was truly crazy. He would march straight to corrin and get him back. He couldn't as he is a man of his duty. Camilia becomes dilusional and thinks corrin will come back home one day and holds that hope and belief. Hinoka plans to get corrin back. She is in denial. Sakura is sad as she just wanted to love you and gets captured and scared to near death and starvation as she is afraid for her life. Elise takes this and works to stop her family from fighting. She gets close as she stops camilia and forces xander to not kill in the theater. Also Leo if she had more time. Elise got the closest to getting both families to work to not fight as she is the last light of norh. But the choice corrin makes kills her and xander. Sad part about this is xander has to choose his duty to his family and die as well. If anything. It mostly affects the main 8 in phychological ways
ivanbluecool some people really dont give fates enough credit, sure its story is its weakest point but i honestly feel that they had among the most memorable characters excluding lords
Jacob Tailleur awakeings was better to remember as everyone was friends before or became friends after. Also we got to see them have fun in the dlc. Fates was just thr main siblings and retainers. Sucks we never got the dlc. I wouls have pay
I just got to this chapter, then fled like the coward I am. I hadn't used Mist at all, so she was completely unprepared, and I wasn't sure that my Ike could take the Black Knight, so for fear of having to restart the chapter, I fled.
Yeah I did this. Ike got Speed screwed so BK could double. In fact Ike was still too slow to avoid the double from Ashnard at max level...until Ike activated Resolve.
wait, i think this scene happens (or a very similar one) when u fight agaisnt black knight and some turns has passed and no one died (it seems theres a turn limit to beat him)
Hey, could you do "What happens if Chrom isn't married by Chapter 12(I'm pretty sure that's the chapter) or what happens if Chrom's wife dies before chapter 12 in Awakening" if you don't, that's okay. I understand. I love your content, BTW. Keep up the good work
I can confirm even a maxed out Ike may have difficulties with the Black Knight because of Luna. Can't say how many times Black Knight triggered Luna on me... -_-
BK has Luna, and if he activates, it takes 50~80% ike's health, so he still survives (assuming you at least trained him a bit). And Ike has Aether, which is extremely broken and two shots BK.
Anderson Pitoli black Luna is different, when you activate it, the defense of foe was reduces in 80%, with the attack of B K, the defense and HP of Ike, it one shots Ike, dealing 48 of damage, and ike has 42 or 44 of hp
@@paperluigi6132 literally blame the japanese version for that, since in the japanese version Eclipse is just Luna (Black Knight), which was turned into black Luna for heroes
giwrgos mpartsiwkas Kinda late, but he did used swords, but due to him promising not to wield one after doing something he thought unforgivable he cut his tendons, that why he just used Urvan and rejected Ragnell to fight the Black Knight

Coward actions have consequences but brave actions means death
What a dilemma

I love the animation of this Black Knight critical hit. The movement, the flow of the cape... I've looked for this everywhere.
I just got to this chapter, then fled like the coward I am. I hadn't used Mist at all, so she was completely unprepared, and I wasn't sure that my Ike could take the Black Knight, so for fear of having to restart the chapter, I fled.
You could suspended the game.

-NAZIRO- NASIR DIES
Had to do this unironically in a recent playthrough, actually. Got all the way there and realized we forgot to give Ike the occult lol.
oooof, you dont give him one as soon as he promotes?
@@andrewrisser5770 I fucking forgot lol. Played through this game almost 5 times and never once did I forget. Idk what happened haha.
Ashnard: "I don't care what happens to Ena just don't bring her near my dragon"
BK: "king said you gotta die"
Why does this man wanna kill so bad
He told Petrine to kill Ena lmao he just gave the same order to BK now that Petrine died

I couldn't beat the Black Knight, cuz I never used Mist & removed her staff before. A rly awkward moment.
Wait I just beat Path Of Radiance and did this cause Black Knight kept one shotting me, can you actually beat him?
Its possible with a lot of luck and 24 speed, proc Aether or you're screwed lol
The only way is to either have aether activate or a critical to activate which is impossible unless you have wrath equipped. Either way it’s luck.
2 Ragnells
I only Know that, Black Luna one-shots Ike
Zeruz 014 it’s not Heroes, it’s regular old Luna on him, not even eclipse. And Luna doesn’t one shot him unless he’s under leveled af
