I’ve been playing the core original FF set for that’s 5 or so years and this release finally got me into deck building and I’m so excited. Picked up the gateway bundle and system update 2021 and it’s a great jumping on point. More NISEI streams please!
ICE stands for Intrusion Countermeasures Electronics, it's from Neuromancer, the novel that started Cyberpunk. Unless it stands for something else in Netrunner but in any case it's an obvious homage to Neuromancer :)
Man this was so great to watch, I literally looked up Nisei after I saw this stream pop up and got my starter ordered. I was just starting to get into netrunner when it ended with FFG, so hearing how good the Nisei stuff is makes me pumped to jump back in

I bought the core FFG set a LONG time ago and the game never got to my group's table though I was excited about it. Eventually I forgot about it. Recently I rediscovered it and really wanted to get into it again only to discover that FFG had their license pulled and WOTC was apparently just sitting on the license. THANK YOU for pointing me towards Nisei - didn't know it existed.

Netrunner is my wife and I’s fav card game... then it kinda died out around 2016. Bought the nisei gateway and got it to the table tonight and we are addicted again. So cool that this exists, I hope It comes back to big events like gencon etc.
I think Steven was playing Conduit slightly wrong a couple times. Conduit's trigger is slightly different than Medium's; it says "When a successful run on R&D _ends_ ", which is the same window as a Dirty Laundry trigger. That means that if you make a successful run on R&D with Conduit, you get the multi-access _before_ you put a new virus counter on it-the run hasn't ended yet!
Just stumbled across this after watching you guys previously for other games and having just picked up the Nisei bundle thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm based in New Zealand and also going to pick up some of your tokens. Just need to convince my board gaming group to try it out

Yeah they give a brief explaination. But I would recommend finding the fantasy flight how to play video. If you can find it, its perfect. If not, Team Covenant has their own how to play videos which are also phenomenal
at around 47:20, the agenda has the text "when this agenda is scored, draw 2 cards". This does not apply to the runner, as the runner does not score agendas, they steal them. the increased hand size though I believe applies to the runner.
Your Netrunner tokens (i bought the deluxe metal set as well as the standard set) were the first and only product I bought from you. I don't live in the US or EU and don't have the disposable income to be able to buy any of your subscription packages. However this product was fantastic and I decided to deal with the shipping and import fees. I hope you create something similar for the next big game, maybe Flesh and Blood?

When using the starter decks you only play to 6 points instead of 7 because the decks are smaller than normal. It would also make for quicker games for someone just learning how to play.
Netrunner is such a gem... IDK, its just a good game. But yeah, its has some flaws for me - agendaflood/starve (but I liked how different values of agenda change game ratio, like when you put Government Takeover in your deck and now you just feel like you deck is empty in case of agendas, runner could run R&D every turn and get nothing) and that sometimes it could be too brain-melty for me and super-math based, like situation when all ice face-up and you just need to count - "can I/they get in or not?" and the fact that there is no instances or something that allow you to say "meh, screw it, I run it and just gonna see how it rollout"... IDK, I actualy don't like instances that much, but this kind of situations when you play-play-all fun and fluid and then "ok... And now let's count this all up"... I just don't like them that much. But atleast there are still almost always some hidden info involved - you usually don't know what on the server or what exactly protect it, so, again, this is a minor complain and, hey, sometimes we all need to count something up. So yeah. Netrunner is still awesome and I glad that NISEI and Jinteki keep it on good level, hope that they continue to do so. And yeah, this Corp deck definetly need more tag-punish or just throw fun-house out :D Because Pharos is just enough for "couple of tags to treaten resources or surpise snipe-out", but with FH... Well, we saw - runner just take all tags in the world and this way even Pharos became less treatening because now you just take tag. But maybe against more resource heavy runners it could still perform better... And who knows how game could turns out if Zach could just get all SWDestr. Out, he then would GO DRIPPIN, BOY! So... Yeah, Netrunner is good. And throwbacks are amazing! From Russia with love.

Those are probably Katanas. Katanas or Dragon Shields. Almost certainly Katanas. If there's not much space at the top, it's Katanas.

Absolutely possible - at least the original "Android: Netrunner". The Netrunner CCG is different enough it'd probably cause dissonance.

Hey, why did the first game end at six points? Doesn't it go to seven?
