I have a nephew that is a SEAL and a stepson that is a green beret/special forces soldier, I am very proud they are fine young men. So is my son (a very special young man) I am a lucky man!!!
that would make 3?
Outstanding.
I saw this footage in Great Lakes Illinois during Boot Camp, amoung other footage in the 70s. It came out in the 80s on VHS Film. I missed my calling. You got to give these Guys tremendous credit!!!
Anymore? That would be awesome!🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
This is awesome! The UDT/SEAL training of the students is kick ass.
Very motivating material.. thank you for sharing.
Unbelievable..Thank GOD for MEN like these!!!
Check out Harry Constance’s memoir titled
“Good To Go” you won’t be disappointed. One of the best, brutally honest battle memoirs out there.
I would never be able to be special forces, or even a para, get vertigo just watching them parachute. Thanks for sharing 👍
You find out just how far your body can go when the sh*t hits that fan.
Original GI Joes right there
I‘ve NEVER seen those jump masts although I‘m quite educated in the topic!

These are the guys uou call going against the odds.Bet they will smash wills and hearts.. Even in defeat
inspiring.
Awsome men.
Special operations win special wars. Damn straight.
I know a retired VIETNAM SEAL> he showed me his polaroid photos of his group> they look like natural born killers !!! bad ass
Ask Don Shipley to verify him
To bad they're not secret no more, along with alot of other special ops groups. But they're could be other groups being kept secret maybe they could be be kept that way.
bwbam777, sometimes it pays to have the existence and reputation of special forces and special operations forces know especially to your enemy, it makes them less willing to take you on. As long as the actual abilities and procedures stay a closely guarded secret, along with the identity and disposition of those units then they remain an effective weapon.
There are so many that the public has no idea about.

Them old leather combat boots wet and full of sand makes it extra hard
That was back when you could have a beer and talk about brother hood ..now days every one is suspect

I respect the seals, but there are a couple of things I don't understand:
1. Seals spend most of their time operating on land, so why are they part of our maritime military service? Couldn't men in the other services just be trained just be trained to do more in the water?
2. If a person wants to be a land based combatant, why not join the Army or Marines and become an infantryman?
There just doesn't seem to be much connection between these men and the rest of the Navy.
You're definitely right about one thing......you don't understand.
It's the skill set that's used on land (Sea Air LAND ). They rely on the Navy for all kinds of support (among the other branches). Theyre very versatile, that's why theyre used on land.
As far as joining the Marines or Army, only a tiny FEW become SEALs.
This had been invented bt England in WW2. Its just you lot took over 20 years to catch up .
Navy scouts and Raiders..and UDT. look it up
quit trying to be Marines they are the best
oh, there was a contest?? lol
My step became a marine, he's an absolute panzy. Marines aren't nothing special, unless you're maybe recon.
