  • UNTIL it HURTS, the documentary. Is a visually alluring tale of the heart of our Navy SEALs, an intense story that takes the viewer back to the 9/11 terror attacks on America and our SEAL losses after the towers fell. UNTIL it HURTS shares an incredible message of honor, sacrifice and hope from the heart of our American warriors. As well as bringing awareness to our civilian losses. Along the way you will meet a young teen striving to become a Navy SEAL, a retired New York City police officer paying tribute to his friends he lost in the towers, the artist that created the art piece UNTIL it HURTS, the civilians that purchased it and a wounded SEAL warrior Jason Redman that is giving back to his community.

I had the absolute honor and privilege to meet the mom of fallen hero, Danny Dietz. I am a Navy veteran myself, so I knew the Operation Redwings story extremely well. She was able to talk about Danny and sign the book she wrote in his honor and personalized it to me. She even wrote the words “Never Forget”. These guys are all heroes and I am so thankful for their sacrifices.

REMEMBER OUR OLD MOTTO:Fate whispers to the NAVY SEAL, "You cannot withstand this storm", and the NAVY SEAL yells back, "I AM THE STORM"! GOD BLESS!

Comments made to this page that are negative in nature or defamatory will be removed immediately. This film is about America and the good we can do. It is not about the thoughts of small people. Please respect the men that gave up their lives, the people we lost in the towers, and the civilians that work to be great Americans.

Its hard to find comfort. What this video did was help re-instill what we've really know since he started... he is loved and he is with family where ever he goes. He will never be forgotten and someone will always have his back. Thanks Senior.

Wow! What a beautiful film and amazing story. Thank you so much for this wonderful piece of art, both the video and the actual art work. I served my country as a Navy fighter pilot (F-4 Phantoms) in/above Vietnam. I went on to become an airline pilot, and was airborne between Anchorage, Alaska and Seattle on 9/11. I'll never forget the respect we all had for each other in the days and weeks following. I think about and grieve for all those who have fallen since then. None stand higher in my heart and mind than our fallen SEALS. I love each and everyone of them, and their families, and will continue to do so until I myself move on to join my fellow warriors. Once again, thank you for this!

As an officer I was there in New York during 9/11. The van I was in just made it across the Brooklyn Bridge as the first tower was coming down. We were ordered not to come any further. You guys are my heroes. I had to do more so I began to volunteer at VA hospitals. make donations when I can. Thank you is what one says to God. I feel it's the greatest compliment to give to man. I have never served in the military, but many family members have for many generations. One commonality I have found with most all of them is that they don't want to talk about their service very much or at all. Because I have not served in the military, I feel it is my duty to learn as much as I can about those who have served our great nation, and when they have been lost, I grieve for their families and their Brothers. Starting with the Navy Seals, I began reading every book I could get my hands on, the first one randomly chosen was "Lone Survivor" about Operation Redwing. Many times I was so shaken by what I was reading I would sob and think I couldn't read any further and then gave myself a slap in the face and thought of all the tears these real heroes and their loved ones have shed. Incidently, I have read so much to this point that I recognized every name at the bottom of that amazing Target artwork. My gratitude goes out to the talented people who produced this documentary -- it is so well done. I understand and respect that lots of people object to war and I hate it too, but I wish everyone would watch films like this or read the books to at least gain more understanding how incredibly brave our service men and women are and maybe a good number of the hate war also, but if not them-- who? They have been called to duty and they go.You can hate war but please love those who fight them for youRespectfully ~ suz.

Wow- powerful message, and, mostly- well presented. Proof that there are no coincidences. A single SEAL sniper trying to change( feelings, perception, the world), an artist with a sense of intent, and, focus on the message, NOT the mess. Another SEAL creating T-shirts, an angry native New Yorker, a successful businessman and his wife. NOT random, nor the beginning of a joke.
I hope the piece "Until it Hurts" ends up at ground zero after it travels the country being freely displayed in miiltary and other appropriately respectful locations, so, all of us- civies included, can see it, touch it, feel its power and remember the true cost of freedom.
Freedom isn't free, but, safety shouldn't cost us all of our civil rights either. What a wonderful touchstone for America, how painful yet inspirational- captured in a single piece of work. I'll share this with both friends and family, and, if you will too- everyone will be touched, properly motivated and re-centered as well.
My next purchase is a wounded wear T-shirt (or two), and, a donation to the GMC "Unlisted" program to help create smart homes for those soldiers who gave so much for us to maintain our lifestyles- whatever that means to each person.
Sadly, words just don't work here. A tearful and humble "Thank you" is all I can muster along with a "Hoo Raa" that starts from my toes, comes out inappropriately loud and ends with full attention. Those who know, already get it. Those who don't- try it and see if you feel the brotherhood.
Thanks again for putting "Until it Hurts" out for all to see- what a gift to anyone who comes across it. Best one hour investment I've made in a long time.
    D

Not just in the heat of battle but in the months and years after... after 9/11, after traumatic injury on the field, after losing a loved one that made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The memory of those lost is honored by the ingenuity and dedication of their brothers and families that soldier on to ensure they're not forgotten. I'm an Army vet and son of a decorated Vietnam war Air Force Veteran so I do know. My prayer for everyone who has sacrificed so much in body and soul is will they find solace in the knowledge that there IS a grateful nation who has their back and is pushing back at the VA to see they get the best possible treatment. That there IS a God who has their back that they can run to finding comfort and mercy. God bless and keep everyone of them, in Jesus name.

A moving and inspiring piece of work. We owe much to these warriors and I for one am forever grateful for their sacrifices. Let us hope that our so-called 'leaders' can learn from the book of honor that our heroes continue to write with their blood, sweat, and tears. Mahalo!

What a great tribute. Thank you to all of our fallen heroes and their families. For those that gave this a thumbs down, I can only imagine that seeing such selfless, patriotic and honorable men make you realize what a shitty human being you are.

Excellent documentary. Thank you to everyone that had a part in making this and to the ones that made the ultimate sacrifice so that we as Americans can continue having the great freedoms we have been afforded. Thanks again!

These people made the supreme sacrifice and it's really sad how people doubt them, instead of thanking them. Soldiers are soldiers, no matter where they fight and under which flag. I wish I were 1 percent of them.
