thanks for the detailed review. It immediately interested me because I would also like to use the gimbal for my GH4. So far I could not be sure if this would be possible (with Lumix 12-35 /2.8 lens which is less heavy than your Canon 50/1.4 lens). But one question is still open for me. It concerns the dial wheel on the side. Which GH4 function can I control with it? Focus? Exposure? Zoom? The FeiyuTech compatibility list only covers camera WiFi software functionality via app which is of less interest to me.
The gimbal has a bug in the firmware. Using zoom on the thumb wheel and pressing any physical button it does both zoom and tilt control. Creates cool effects, but definitely a bug.
Helpful video. One problem. I balance the camera on the gimbal but hear a clicking sound on moving the camera. Not a vibration. Seems to be coming from the motor on the roll axis, but others as well. Any thoughts? Thank you.
Hello, have you noticed that it pans to the right when the gimbal is stationary? Very slow but noticeable. Have I set up my camera incorrectly or do you have this issue too?
Did feiyu finally fix the panning of the gimbal? Almost all of the other reviews and samples had this problem where the panning was very linear (not gradual) and it looked really bad. In newer reviews including yours the panning seems very smooth now. Would you show a sample video of it or based on your experience is the panning smooth now?

Try going in to the payload settings and try the auto adaption.

Try a calibration
when the camera (sony NEX 5) can not connect to gimbal wifi, the funtions of gimbal like (pan, tilt, roll), or button still work well?? Tks bro 😍
Yes of course, WiFi is only needed to connect to the app.

It seemed normal to me, maybe it was updated in firmware.
