Had mine for the past 4 years. Woke up one day in the middle of the night with a very itchy body. Tried going back to sleep but I couldn't. Went to my parents room to see if that changed anything but it didn't. Took a hot shower then put on tea tree oil and that stopped the itching for a couple of minutes. Then my mom gave me medicine. Since then, got them on and off weekly. To this day I have to take medicine just so I don't randomly break out in hives/lower the chances of me getting them.
This week I have to stop taking my medicine since I'm getting allergy testing tomorrow (which I was supposed to not take any medicine for 1 week prior to this appointment). First day nothing happened. Second day I broke out in hives and a headache. And day 3 was the worse because I was broken out in hives, dry throat, headache, and a red chest. Day 4-5 nothing much happened. And today as of writing this comment, I have small spots of hives over my right leg .

Me and a couple of friends when on a camping field trip during spring break about 3 months ago. We all came back with hives.. which is weird because none of us are allergic to anything. My hives went away in the span of two weeks and i was all fine and dandy until 3 months later i got them again. They were not as bad as the first time i got them but in areas where my clothes were more tight there were bigger. The big hives went away in the span of two weeks. My friend also reported having them for a bit about three weeks ago. I don’t have hives anymore but i still have spots that itch. And sometimes when i itch the spot it becomes raised later. I’m worried it might be chronic. Currently i’m not itching whatsoever and i hope i don’t itch again

I had this for A year and a half after getting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. It went away over the winter and I had 3 good months without any issue, but I got a tick bite Recently and doxycycline as a preventative just in case I got exposed to Lyme. Well the itching around the tick bite has set off my immune system and I'm breaking out in hives if I dare touch or scratch my back. If I scratch anywhere it starts the HIVES ATTACK and it spreads everywhere on that limb and itches and burns and gets very hot then within an hour and usually a cool
Shower it fades away until the next HIVES ATTACK. 🥺

Dxed CU w/dermatographism in 1979, while attending intensive military training. Was told repeatedly that stress DOES NOT cause CU. Because the standard meds for CU then caused drowsiness, I was booted out of the Service.
In retrospect, my psych issues being misdiagnosed as a skin condition fueled a drive in me to learn more about my health - and these gods we call doctors.
It has been such an abused diagnosis in the US Department of Veterans Affairs arsenal against granting veterans benefits that getting kicked out of the Service for hives has been a running gag since WWII. YOU CAN TRUST THAT SUCH INTENTIONAL MISDIAGNOSES HAVE RESULTED IN THOUSANDS OF VETERANS SUICIDES.

I broke into hives after losing 10 kgs over 8 months of exercise. I am pretty sure it was the exercise which triggered it.
There are two symptoms I face. One is my soles and palms get super itchy and swell, sometimes making it impossible for me to walk. Second symptom is I get welts so big that I can actually see my skin pores. However, this one is not itchy at all, it just looks ugly.
I now take anti histamines, and that completely stops the first symptom but not the second one. If I stop the drug, the second symptom stops completely and but the first symptom comes back with full force.😢
On the flip side, the itches give a heavenly feeling when I scratch it, it just feels so good. People without hives will never understand the pleasure of scratching a hives itch.,🥹
