It’s the compromises the companies make when creating the shoe. Air Max Tn’s destroy me in my true size because there’s some kind of ridiculous narrowness close to the top. I either have to beat the thing into submission or go up a half size so I won’t be crushed. Then, once I picked up a Vapormax 360 in-store. I absolutely HAD to have this release. But the last pair they had was on the shelf - a 12 (my size is 11). I try it on because why not, and it feels perfect, like it was an 11. I don’t even know how the 11 feels or performs. Wish we didn’t have to do this extra work but it is what it is.
I like them because it gives me continuity since I grew up in the 70"s to 80ish . It is some sort of an upgrade to our original nike waffles of our generation :)
Sweet! Your videos scream my sneaker style haha! Subscribed. Really tempted to buy this pair on crater cream/white/orange/black color way. Now i’m convinced to get this pair.
Defs wanna cop one after seeing your review!! Was wondering about to size cuz they say its a snug fit..Im usually a size 8 on most shoe brands but I have wide feet so I was wondering if I should go for an 8.5 or stick to 8..cuz I would be buying my pair online. And can they be used for running, Gym workouts exercising or is it more of just a lifestyle shoe? :) Thanks!
My friend has wide feet, and he went half a size up which worked for him, but as much as possible try them in store first since many stores restocked. I would use them only as a lifestyle shoe though. The most I would put them through is a short walk on the treadmill before hitting the machines and free weights in the gym. I would not use them for leg day exercises as well because they’re not flat. Hope this helps!
I found them to be the opposite I'm always a size 8 always but I bought a size 7.5 in a different colourway (by accident) and they fit perfectly idk, i recommend just trying them on in store to see what works
Yeah it felt a little long for my liking. My usual size for Nike lifestyle is 9.5, and I feel like true to size would be the best option. Since you’re a wide-footer, a whole size up would be way too big. Please remember that the upper is mostly mesh, it’ll also stretch more than full on leather. A buddy of mine is a wide footer who also has flat feet, and he was fine going up half a size from 9.5 to 10. 😬
@@zackisme111 yeah cause I don’t want to return these and pay for shipping if these don’t fit me well. Would mid blazers be a good similar shoe to find my size with this shoe?
@@reif1v Waffle One’s will definitely be easier to fit in to since you have wide feet. The Blazers are kinda weird fitting for me. Really snug, but run just a little long, and leather’s a little stiff to start off so I do feel like the Waffle One’s will be more comfortable for you overall
@@reif1v I would suggest up half a size if you want to get Blazer Mids, since you’re a wide footer, but that’s if you don’t mind them feeling a little long. Not as long as Air Force 1’s, but just something to note.
@@zackisme111 Cause I wear af1 in a us8 and they are a bit tight for me, I also wear the Nike mid blazer ‘high’ in a size us9 which is a little bit loose for me but when I tie the shoe laces they fit snug, Should I stick to a 9 or 8. I also don’t really like too tight of a fit
I don’t think the shoe overall will be much good if you plan to use them for basketball. I personally wouldn’t use them for sports. It’s alright for everyday casual use though, but that’s mostly me wanting to get the most out of my money.
Lol imagine caring about what “hypebeasts” think. Basically the dumbest demographic trying to flex while they have nothing else worth a dime n what they do have is of theoretical value. Ive worn many Nikes that aren’t exclusives n just very random n shoe guys still were very interested in what they were.. n they usually cost like $80.
I would sell them to you, but I already sold them to a buddy of mine! Sorry about that. There are a lot of sellers on facebook marketplace though if Nike doesn’t have a 10 anymore!
Not actually dragging any sneakers, matter of fact I think it’s a great everyday shoe as I’ve mentioned in the video. I’m quite against people talking down on sneakers that others wear just because they don’t know of them 🤷🏽♂️
Amazes me that people will get a sneaker up to a size difference if they can’t get there size. If it’s not in my size I would never get it.

The top where the laces start dig into my skin when the toes bend. Does anyone else have this issue?
torn between waffle one and new balance515 and new balance 237. Which is the best among the 3?
