- Magdalena is a patient at Loma Linda University Health's Diabetes Treatment Center. She was depressed and immobile, having difficulty navigating the complex health system-but a community health worker was able to help. For more information please visit: news.llu.edu/academics/commun...
Please keep posting on CHW... There’s not much updated info anywhere.😥
How great to able to have someone that cares for you but most important that cares about your feelings and is able to help out when you most needed. Great job to both of them! One for helping out and the other for putting her efforts and do the right thing for her body. Congratulations to her because she no longer needs to depend on her cane to walk. God bless them both, and you reading my message yes you may God bless you, Family, Loved Ones and Great Friends. 😇🙏
Am a community Health Worker in Nigeria, how do I work abroad. Primary health care is our concerns
Thank you. Great story I will share with my fellow CHWs
Being a CHW is just what was said "the eyes and heart" of the community they live and work in, because we too come from where they are. It's like we are able to get down in the dirt with out getting dirty and help pick them up. We are community!
