I’d honestly take almost any skyline. They’re so beautiful and always catch your eye no matter the color. Unfortunately I’m a broke boy and only have a 92 3000gt sl till I can afford something this timeless
Jon-John Pinckney bought it last year a couple days before my 20th birthday. First car I’ve ever bought with my own money. you bet that ass I’ll never sell her.
Happy to see this. Everyone was up in arms over what my blue GTST I had from you guys made saying there was something wrong wit it. People seem to forget these cars made 235hp at the crank from the factory. My GTST with the Japan chipped computer, ISR down pipe, catless, 3" tomei CBE, Blitz intake, split fire coil packs, and HKS front mount, on 10lbs was 207 RWHP on a dyno dynamics with a low 11 AFR.
Mikes RC World I want to get a jdm car and was thinking about the gtst but the power isn’t enough when you compare it to a 1j car that makes 280hp stock
What happened to the rest of the numbers? My old 32 made 326 bhp with pretty much the same mods, but I was running a rb25 turbo, 3in turbo back, apexi intake, larger rad, fmic, splitfires, walbro 255lph, nistune...
Hmm.. Mine has turbo back catless exhausts, blitz intercooler, HKS pod filter, and the same coils, and a Walbro 255. Stock turbo but is on 10 pounds. No boost controller and no idea if it is chipped at all. Wonder what it actually makes.. lol
Anyone who’s care made more they’re tuner has the dyno tuned more then the car... everyone claims these care make all this cray power with bolt ons yet no one has ever back it up with a 1/4 mile slip... no ETs or trap speed or anything. This stock car is about right when you figure in loss through drive drain and the type of dyno. Same with me car
Nice car indeed...looks pretty clean! About the HP rating...since it's an US company the rating is not imperial so SAE 176hp US are DIN 179hp in europe then...thers nowhere said what kind of hp it is...at wheels or corrected to engine hp? I guess its at the wheels so adding the drivetrain loss of about 15% we get approx 206hp at the engine... Thats what Nissan advertised a 1990 R32 GTS-t.
Vast majority produce 150-156whp (110-115kW at wheels) in stock form here in Australia. Obviously the US Dynojet figures come into play here. A stock R33 GTS25t (RB25DET) produces about 130rwkw (177whp). Mine produced 127rwkw when stock and then 140rwkw with another 2psi boost above standard (7psi).
I'm trying to save up for my dream R34 GTR but from the looks of cost it may not even be realistic. If I make it I'm only going to you guys for the car and mods. My worry is where I could go to get work or maintenance done on the car since I'm not in Virginia. I'd be scared to let just anyone touch something so rare.
You posted this 8 months ago, and it must seem even more impossible today. R34 GTRs have spiked enormously in value in the last few months. A VspecII Nur edition just sold at auction for $400k, and some of the worst condition models are still going for over $100k. I saw a high KMs base-model GTR posted for over $100k recently, it had faded paint and the headlights were scratched up to the point of being totally fogged over. My guess is that most R34's are going to be in their long-term owners possession in the next little while, and we're going to see much less of them for sale until the economy recovers. I owned a 1990 R32 Skyline GTR back in 2006, and R34 GTRs were selling in Japan for $20-30k. My plan was to buy one, but they shot up to $70k+ as soon as they became legal to import to Canada in 2014-2015.
My old 32 was running 326 bhp on an rb25 turbo with fmic, splitfire coils, apexi intake, 3inch turbo back, bigger radiator, tuned on a nistune ecu they're solid engines!
Add an intercooler bigger rad, uprated coils, fmic, and upgrade your ecu if you haven't and can easily make a reliable 300/330ish, add a hybrid turbo bigger injectors and upgrade the fuel pump and I've been told they will do 400 easy unopened, and if you forge the internals you can go bigger again 😎
I hope you will be able to help me. I'm about to buy the same front bumper as this r32 has and I was wondering. Do I have to cut the front reo bar to make this bumper fit or do I have to get a n1 front reo bar?
That should have a 10,000 RPM rev limiter stock. 2L in an inline 6? It would be a waste of money but I would love to throw $80K at the engine to have a 12,000rpm low boost supercharged or Turbo engine.
@@DriverMotorsports Just messing mate. Would love to experience an RB20. In the right hands, they're very capable and cheaper to build than their bigger counterparts.
Wheel horsepower vs crank horsepower. This was done on a chassis Dyno so it's the horsepower that the car puts to the ground. If the engine was on an engine Dyno and didn't have to turn the clutch, pressure plate, driveshaft, rear diff, axles, brake rotors, wheels, and tires, it would show more horsepower. All these things use power. It's refered to as driveline loss

Yea, they all are pretty amazing!
3000gt?! You lucky you even have that, boi! Better not sell that lemme tell ya.

Keep the 3000GT (this is completely biased)
Even in stock body, the R32 is still gorgeous. A testament of its designer.

1:30. You're welcome
What are your thoughts of the power of a R32 Skyline GTST?? Good daily or needs moaarr powwa?
A good daily, but it could use MORE power.
That was wheel HP right? What would crank HP be?

Don't need to cut the rio i believe. If your going front mount intercooler yes you would have to cut it unfortunately
@@samc784 Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting an OEM N1 gtr bumper and N1 reo bar instead. :)

167ish whp... let’s see after I watch the video.
I was close.
Wow that’s shocking. I have an rb25 turbo and made 321hp on a mustang dyno with just 14psi
That is a super high reading dyno, with a bigger turbo and more boost mine made 270hp.
Where's the dyno sheet
I found a r32 gtst with like 83000 miles for 22,000 ish plus a 2000 delivery fee
rb does not stand for Race Bred, its just an engine code.
I made 295rhp /220rkw 14.4psi /1bar, vg30det turbo, big radiator, shitty exhaust, front mount, remapped ecu. Luv it.
That’s 176whp??
are they not turbo?
This one is a turbo model
On the wheels or?
Marketed as 210hp (engine).
Wheel
@@DriverMotorsports Ok. So what is it on the engine then?

Probably 220-225

Ayyy 100th 🙌🏻
RB does not stand for race bred. its just a name they slapped on it.

@@DriverMotorsports Just messing mate. Would love to experience an RB20. In the right hands, they're very capable and cheaper to build than their bigger counterparts.

Not the RB20. More like 300 to the wheels. The RB26 in the 32-34 GTR yes.
Rb20 is capped out 400 I believe which is perfectly fine.
RB20 in Australia pushes 700 whp 10,000 rpms
310
Rb literally doesnt stand for racebred lol its 2 random letters to designate engine sequence. just like SR, CA and so on.. means nothing.
Twas a joke:)
176hp is absolute horseshit my man
How do you mean? We put the car on the dyno and tested the power level. These were the results. Please explain why you think it's "horseshit" ?
Why doesn't it make 212 that is stock even look on google
