    I just purchased this vac in white for the wife.
    The build quality does not disappoint being Makita.

    Well done ! I’ve been checking this cordless vacuum in all different video in Japanese & Chinese. Yours is the best and solid. Looking for your follow up.

    Just bought the vacuum charger and 2.0 battery in a set $99 on the home depot app and the cyclone attachment all in $ 150 nice

    This model has no brushless motor, but indeed cheaper. I notice that the cyclone option also excist in a 'click' version. The one used here is no-click version (191D75-5 in Europe). I suppose that the click version is not useable here?

    3 years on, how much cracking has happened around the dust collector nozzle?
    Mine is only 2 months old, and has many cracks in it.

    Thanks for the video! I'm considering the DCL286ZWX1 and I wondered if that may be your buddy's white version? I don't know if there are many differences between that and your one, as you mentioned. At a cursory overview it seems like the power/trigger is different, with the DCL286ZWX1 having more of a 'house appliance' design compared to the tool feel of your one, and it's also brushless. I'm not sure if there are many significant other differences. Thanks for the vid anyway!!

    Thanks for the review! Which kind of cordless nail gun would you potentially opt for since the makita needs improvement?

      Thanks Brian. I've heard better feedback on the Makita 16ga cordless gun, but I dont have any first hand experience. They haven't been out as long as the 18ga either. I would look hard at the Milwaukee. I have a buddy who has one and it all around seems like a better tool. Better balance, responsiveness for sure.

      Framer or trim I or 18 g brad?

      I LOVE THE 15 G DEWALT FOR THE SOFT TOUCH BETTER THAN MY PASLOADE TRIM NAILER. THE DEWALT FRAMER NEEDS A LITTLE WORK UNLESS YOUR USED TO HOLDING THE TRIGGER LIKE AN AIR NAILER

    How the vac has been holding up?

    • @williams6262
      @williams6262  2 года назад +1

      Great question. I need to do a long term follow up video. I'd say mostly good with one problem. The plastic on the dust bin on the vacuum itself is fairly brittle, and has cracked twice where the extension wand fits in. Makita warrantied the first one no problem, and I am about to submit another claim again. That is my only complaint. With the cyclone separator, it makes a really good every day vacuum around the house for light/medium pickup.

    Checking out this vacuum for the house, having Makita tools already. You have pets in the house? How does it handle pet hair?

    • @williams6262
      @williams6262  4 года назад +2

      No pets, but 3 girls... handles their hair just fine. The cyclone attachment allows the vacuum not to clog up and maintain suction.

    For what is that cyclone separator? it has some problems without?

    • @RayTeerlink
      @RayTeerlink 2 года назад

      The cyclone separators capture more of the fine dust that will plug your filter quickly. So that you don’t have to change filters as often. I use one on my dust collection. It works so well

    Is this the brushless model?

    • @williams6262
      @williams6262  3 года назад +1

      No. The BL version was $100 more. I think the BL version had a very very minimal increase in CFMs and likely a marginal battery life improvement. With a 5ah batt? This thing gets almost a week of daily use, at least 5-10min at a time. I'd say about 45min total run time.
