I love these cars and I think a massive misconception everyone has is that they are ELEGANT FOR THE ELEGANT. These cars are like FANCY SWEATPANTS, they're so relaxed and comfy to run your most boring errands in the best cars ever made! Sexy video fellas!

Hi Al, as a man (like pedro) that accompanies a well made individual like you. I've had the chance to go through the Rolls Royce bespoke car scheme that they do. What they do best is look down on you and point you the directions into making you're very own, just like they own you. They'll be like "Oh, hi there Mr New-PopStar, We really enjoyed you're new song and we came up with an idea to decorate you're new dawn! Here is the idea: the veneer panels will include the notes to your finest piece, it will be done up in squid ink from the very depths of the Atlantic Ocean near the British Columbia, it is only a mere £50,000 per gram that we will use when decorating the fine panels, that's if you are happy with it! Are you happy with this?"
If you say no, they have got 10 more thinking that it'll get you out of the $300 Audi VIP plan.
Wait for some time for some one to sell their bespoke Dawn that matches your taste, my friend had to wait a year to come across a bespoke one that made him REALLY HAPPY. Cause in the end, he only spent about half as much as he would from the factory and was very happy.

I hate people that dress like idiots ( e.g sweatpants and hoodies ) and ride in cars like these. It just doesnt look... proper.
PS: I also believe sweatpants, hoodies and running shoes belong only to tye gym.
Mr.PetrolHead I agree with you 100%, have some class, elegence and pride for God sake. This is why I laughed at Salomondrins comment at the top about what he thinks Rolls Royces are about, damn peasants.
Analog instruments are much better anyway. Digital is cheap to build and will age quickly.

I'm fascinated by how the hub caps stay still while the wheels turn.
Exquisite lines and attitude from every perspective. The Corniche successor has arrived, assuredly yet elegantly. RR need to work the gorgeousness of the exclusive context into the infotainment system. This is not an option...the vehicle clearly has a weak spot that must be addressed.
There's an old story about a RR engineer accompanying a test drive of a Roller, several generations ago, and the driver/reviewer commented that the car was so quiet he could actually hear the clock gently ticking. The engineer instantly responded, somewhat annoyed, saying, "Yes, we must work on that damned clock".
I do think you can make comparisons the Rolls Royce just wins (once you ignore the price, which most people don't)

Whatever is digital shows it's age very fast. On the other hand analogue apart from classy is also timeless. RR were clever not put paddles on the car for gear changes and they also made a good choise by being able to cover the info screen.
Throw away your iPhone, it's made in China by feets.

Which is ironic since you don't have to be rich to have one. Some people combine their life savings with a loan and spend their retirement with little money driving a Rolls-Royce.

Rolls used to be all about the phantom. Now, they're all about the 7 series ghost. They lowered their standards when they lowered their price
I don't know, but I find the Phantom Drophead much more 'butch' and elegant. maybe it's those boxy good looks. The Wraith is a very elegant car, but the Dawn doesn't look better than the car it's supposed to replace.

i own a Bentley continetal GT 2005. i wanted to add this to my collection but still even second hand 300k € at least... But then again i dont want a wraight or a ghost
I love Rolls. Particularly the Ghost and the Wraith.
I really hope one day Rolls Royce shock the world by releasing their own badass monster of a sports-car/GT, like Bentley and in many ways Aston Martin. A loud, aggressive looking, fast beast. BUT retains its class and luxury in every way, can switch back to being silent and soft. It would obviously have to be of a different size and weight and shape, but can you imagine it? Rolls Royce just laying down their top hats, rolling up their sleeves, loosening their ties and saying "Very well then chaps, let's show these other gentlemen we are top dogs here" and switching on Metallica or Motorboat and picking up their tools.

Beautiful cars. but it just bothers me that it shares stuff with a 7 BMW.
For some strange reason, as i watched this video, towards the end, somebody start firing gunshots or loud firecrackers nearby, not sure y, I care not, except It kinda echoed how I feel a gun salute of sorts towards a classy car & fittingly appropriate review. The extacy of the inspired me to move myself via a cool walk soaking up the scenery. however the visual & aural ambiance of my locale doesn't match the scene that inspired it. a nice rush of serene anyway, if benz expect to topple that with the S class coupe of put the fear of God into rolls royce engineers, they''ll have to try much harder. as it is, I wouln't cross shop them, one is agressive & the other is serene. i literally dont get the notion of competition, I don't know how to quantify it, If I had the money & my frugal conscience would allow me to splurge, feeling sufficed that I am doing enough to help the less fortunate & not short changing future efforts i would probably by one. This Dawn is sublime & very livable for more occasions than the traditional sterotypes suggest, This Dawn may very well be a need for some ppl
