The new Logic update released while Seth was out on a trip, so he decided to record this video for you from his hotel room! He goes around the hotel, taking samples of various sounds with his phone, and then he loads them into the brand new Sample Alchemy plugin from Logic!
Sample Alchemy is a powerful new plugin that allows you to manipulate sounds (really any audio sample) to use in your music and tracks.

Apple has updated Logic Pro for both Mac and iPad, introducing several powerful features to enhance music creation. Isn't this already in the pre update version of Alchemy? You can drag and drop samples into Alchemy? What makes this different?

You could add samples in alchemy but the controls with the older alchemy were kinda limited and most of them were buried and hard to find. The new update brings granular modification along with 3 new modes. Checkout logic's full walkthrough of alchemy and you will understand thats its way more advanced and better than the old alchemy. Now you no longer have to purchase a expensive granular sampler
