Hello Both, wow 5 attempts to find a park up, what a shame, We have that kettle in shiney blue, its great isnt it. Beautiful views. The doggies were hungry bless them. A nice walk to Bruce's stone, lovely video, take care x Julie and Tony x
Thank you J&T. Hope you are both fit and well and Blue too. Just noticed tonight it’s getting much lighter late afternoon. Before you know it the warmer weather will be here. Can’t wait. Stay safe you guys 🧙🚐👍🙏 xx
My partner and I have been watching your channel since the early days - just wanted to say how impressed we are. You've both clearly grown in confidence in front of the camera, and the editing and camera work is really good - that's not to say it was ever poor, but with time it's clear expertise has grown. Scotland is our favourite place, so lile that you tour there.
Oh what an absolutely lovely message. When we first started it was all a bit daunting but now we relax and I think it comes naturally now. Appreciate you taking the time to tell us. Stay safe. 👍🙏🧙🚐
We stayed at Black Loch. We had EE in our router, I was on O2 and Alan was on Vodafone, and we didn’t have a signal on any of them. It was beautiful and quiet.
Yes it was a lovely location. We were very disappointed we had to move on. But we still found a nice one. Do much choice in Scotland 🏴. Thanks for your comment and hope you are all doing well xx 🧙🚐🏴
Great Vlog as always guys. Re phone signal. We have a Nighthawk M1 Router with a Pointing Ariel on the roof. We have always had a signal wherever we go even on the outer Hebrides. If you want any further info just let us know. Take care and safe travels.❤❤❤
Pleased you enjoyed the vlog. Thanks ❤️. We don’t mind if the signal is weak but do need a bit! Have you used your Nighthawk in Wales at all? It may definitely be something to consider going forward. Safe travels 😊👍❤️
Hi guys , another relaxing vlog. Not certain that we would be comfortable staying in such a remote location. We get the tranquility and the amazing scenery but to be totally out of communication is something that we would not want! There's always the chance that things can go horribly wrong and you need assistance. BTW the sculpture is incredible. Both Nicola and I are risk averse. Having worked in law enforcement we are always mindful of where we go. We often let our "Spidey sense " guide us! Stay safe guys!
As you know that’s why we didn’t stay there. Otherwise the more remote the better for us. Ellie’s phone does have an emergency satellite connection which showed up as available but that would only be for the emergency services. Thanks very much for taking the time to comment and stay safe both of you xx 🚐🧙🏴
Lots of potholes on the road, reminded me of Skye 😀 shame it took you so many attempts to find a stop - the tower sculpture was interesting and wonder what happened with the visitors centre. All the best, David & Rachel 🙌
Yes it was very unusual to not find a suitable spot. Usually very easy. The sculpture was amazing. All in all a great place. Hope you are both good and of course. Roxy xx
Oh, what a splendid spot that Black Loch was! The surrounding with the loch and this impressive art (reminded me a bit of Barad-dûr, the tower of Sauron in Mordor, LOTR) and this silence, just wonderful. I would have stayed there overnight, even without any signal. I don't mind about that and have a great trust in my fait, thinking always positive ... 😇😄 Thank you for showing us such magical places, take care, Gabriela 👋
Thanks for you lovely message. Yes the loch was really wonderful. We are so lucky having Merlin to get to visit these places. Long may it continue. I hope things are good with you and so pleased you enjoyed the video. Take care. G and E xx 🧙🚐👍🙏
Really hope all goes well with your Pet scan results. Our thoughts are very much with you Gabriela❤️🙏🤞Not easy waiting for the results. You sound like such a positive person despite everything❤️. Where do you think your travel plans might take you? Take care of yourself ❤️🙏xx
@@Wizardinthewild Thank you so much for your kind wishes. 🌼❤🌼 And yes, I am indeed an optimistic person with always positiv thoughts. ☺All that negativ stuff helps nobody and is good for nothing. My travel plans are the middle part of Germany, later the northern part of France and after the summer holidays (during that time I stay at home and leave the places to the families and it's too hot for me anyway) I will travel to Rumania for three months - if my health alllows it. 🤗🤗🤗 Take care ❤, Gabriela
❤️. Loving the sound of your travel plans Gabriela! All places we’d love to visit. Like you, we stay home most of the summer. Fingers and toes are crossed for you getting some positive results over the next few days xx🤞🤞😊🥰❤️
I've said before but Scotland has some absolutely beautiful scenery. Can't believe it took so many attempts to find somewhere to stop. That road or should I say pot hole trail 😂😂 looked fun to navigate.
Thanks Tim ( why does my auto correct keep calling you Tom 🤣) yes we don’t normally have problems off grid 🤣. Scotland is so beautiful 🏴. Thanks for your comment. 🧙🚐👍🙏
We would stay at Black Loch because we have a 4G Wi-Fi antenna on our roof so would probably get a signal but the peace! Definitely stay. Hope your both well Cheryl x
@@Tugga74 yes I put our van WiFi Ariel out but still nothing. It usually works ok. Judging by the comments it is a very poor area. Was so peaceful. Thanks for your comment 🧙🚐🙏👍🏴
Snap! We have the same kettle in purple! Did you know Clatteringshaws is a 'dark sky site'? It's worth visiting there on a clear night. Thanks for sharing N&Nx
You can see why it’s called the Black Loch. My immediate thought was I’d stay there without signal as long as I’m with Steve, my husband, and our completely non ferocious Cavapoo Max. Then I remembered we don’t go ‘wild’ camping as I’m a bit scared of trying it. 😂 Glad you found somewhere suitable to stay. Loved the story of the Bruce stone. Shame about the cafe. Take care Gill
The (FLS)shut the cafe down due to lack of utilities security concerns and poor accessibility apparently 🤔 great vlog though new every inch you travelled lol. 😁💜💜👍
Yes I think we were just following in your trail. Fantastic area. We will be back. Thanks for explaining about the Visitor centre. Makes sense I suppose. Stay safe in this wind Chrissy. Where are you hunkered down? 🚐🧙🙏👍🏴
Hi guys 👋 I'm with you, such a lovely spot, but with no phone signal, it would have to be a no no, especially with my health track record 🙄 That looked a lovely walk to Bruce's Stone, it's a great area. "Nice to see you, to see you nice" 🤣🤣 Take care 👍 🐸
Good game good game 🤣. Yes you do have to think about these things. Also with yo being on your own even more so. As recent events for you prove. 😩. Thanks for watching and commenting 🚐🧙👍🙏🏴
Tesco and o2 is the same carrier so possibly look at a different provider, we run Vodafone, EE and Smarty (3) and usually do ok for one of them, I wonder if you might invest in Starlink if it’s important you have signal? Glad you found something eventually though.
@@RickandHeather yes I was with a different provider, Virgin which was Vodafone but they got taken over by O2. Trouble is they gave me a very good deal that’s difficult to walk away from. Have thought about Starlink but to be honest it isn’t often we have the issue. I think it’s quite expensive. Thanks. 🧙🚐👍🙏
We stopped int the Clatteringshaws Car Park and Black Loch. So that is two of my videos LOL. That's right blame the dogs LOL We would stay, but we had a signal at the other side of the car park. Oh no you missed the Faces. The Raiders Road was shut when we were there. Bruce has a few stones and caves, the spiders disowned him. Our weather was not as pleasant as yours but we had a great time. Take care and stay safe.
