    Anthony,
First, thank you for having the courage to talk so honestly about yourself.
I'm so sorry about you losing so many people you cared about. Don't be too hard on yourself with regretting that you didn't tell them how much they meant; as you yourself said you were forced to focus on surviving and working on your job as a musician. It's very hard to think about other people when you are struggling figuring out a career and source of income.
I'm not a pro musician like you and I haven't had your immigration problems but I can relate to your struggles figuring out a career, dealing with family issues, struggling with self doubt, the meaning and purpose of life, etc. In my case I ended up in a career that I did not love or even particularly like but it paid the bills.
FWIW I and many other viewers admire and respect your skills as a bassist. Whatever else is happening in your life, nobody can take that away from you.

    Great video man.
Honestly, what would be of life if not a constant overcoming of challenges? I mean, sometimes we just want a break to grab a breath and move forward, but spiritually wise, we are tested to the extent that we can handle. Many think that the neighbour’s grass is always greener, and that other people are living the good life that we are not. But as soon as you enter their space, you will surely find what you couldn’t (or didn’t want to) see.
As a musician, I believe our role is to provide to society a form of communication that is only reachable with music. You can read a book, watch a movie, or look at a painting, but none of these do what music can do to you in only a few seconds. Sometimes, just one chord already sets a new mood to the listener, something almost instantaneous. We are here to help people connect with what they can’t see.
Stay strong man! Financial problems are common among musicians, and we need to take care of it. However, we shouldn’t think that a material stable life would fulfil the gaps we have. By the way, as you mentioned, one day you talk to Frank, the other Frank is gone. Thus, stability in the end is just an illusion. Enjoy the ride man!

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! I recognize a lot you are saying, like that we as musicians seem to be able to heal ourselves through the power of music, but at the same time, we don't solve our emotional problems truly because music also functions as some kind of escapism: Like some sort of rich space where we can reside and function on the highest emotional and intellectual levels, but we always go back to the "real" world where we need to cope with stuff. My condolences for your losses. Also, last week, my first bass guitar teacher passed away. His name is Charlie Angenois and he was a well-known player here in the Netherlands. He always taught the first-year students. Anyway, thanks again for your honesty and keep on going! I admire your work!

But after viewing one of your previous videos in which you spoke of not desiring to chase the abundance of money but to be comfortable, I heard it. Thank you so much for this. It must have been a very hard video to record, but you did good sharing it. It is a lesson, despite your beginning - one way more important than the rest.
Don't be afraid to take breaks if you need to prioritize yourself either. The amount of effort you put on this channel only and the consistency of its quality are incredible and I think we all take each one of your videos as a gift. I'm sure your loved ones were and are proud of you, don't be too harsh on yourself as someone else commented here.
You are an inspirational force, keep being awesome and take good care!

You're welcome man. It's hard and at one point was a daunting task to just get myself out of bed every morning. But, there's no use in sulking or letting the burden get to you. It's all about trying to find the balance between powering through and occasionally wearing yourself out. Learn to listen to your body and mind. Cheers man. Take it easy

Your channel became too pretentious -- your flexing at the beginning of each video instead of cutting straight to the chase, and all those faces you make at the cam. Your life baby, but I am unsubscribing. Sure it's not loss for you, but just thought you'd like the feedback.

@@crapadopalese Well... yeah. Trump’s ok for those who agree with him, and you’re evil to them.
The things we get annoyed by the most are usually the things we do ourselves but on the other spectrum.
Your passive-aggressive post calling out Anthony as well as your sarcastic reply to me is just as pretentious.
Me calling you out and responding is just as pretentious as well. That’s the kicker.

@@baszm I don't think you understand what passive aggressive means. You might say I was aggressive, but definitely not passive. The last line of your comment about boredom is a much better example of passive aggressiveness.
And, I think it's fine to give feedback. Wasn't saying anything about him as a musician, I think he's great, but was explaining why I wouldn't be consuming his channel. He is presenting me with public content, seems completely normal to me to criticize it.
