Eb/F, C-/Bb, Eb/D-, C-/Db-, F/G, C-,D, F-/G-, C-/D, F-/G-, F-/G, C-/Ddim, C-/Bdim, Ab/G, Db/G, C-/Bb- are some useful triad pairs over C-. I spent some time on this (thank you Jazz Duets!) & also used a half step below or above any of those triad notes to create 4 note cells which makes for some superb tension/release ideas. I wrote several pieces though didn't record them. It's easy to spend a whole lifetime on this stuff...;-))
Anthony you've got a gift for teaching you really don't know how many people are learning and finding themselves with thanks to the stepping stones you've given them. Lot's of Love from UK
Anthony, thanks for another great video. Your channel deserves to be on all Quora/Reddit/etc. lists on "best" bass content. I appreciate the simple ideas to practice the instrument delivered in a very clear and concise way. I found your channel a couple of weeks ago, and I'm happy to see that you are still creating new content. As others have said, your attitude and skills as a teacher give your channel energy that others can't replicate. I usually don't write comments on RUclips, but thought I would leave you a note just to say how much I appreciate your videos (and I'm sure that there are a lot of other silent subscribers like me that feel very fortunate to have access to little pieces of materials like this one).
Enjoyed this so much my friend...I understood what you said about life...my favorite line on that one is from John Lennon, " Life is what happens to you while you're making other plans." Your tone is fabulous.
This is a ''Top 1%'' RUclips Video from a Master Bassist and Teacher Covering Wide-interval Permutations Using Triad Pairs. - Thank You for Such a Educational Lesson, Anthony!
Hi Tony, im Anthony too. Iv played drums, I play guitar and tenor sax.( since ' 70's ) I practise jazz. Straight no chaser, or watermelon man. Help me with improvising on jazz. Thanks
Hi Anthony, I hope all is well with you and that you're staying healthy. I'm curious, is that sustained chord that you're riffing over a backing track of sorts or how are you using a program like Ireal pro to play that?
"Still fumble" isn't what you were trying to say. All these exercises are just things we do then move on. No one sits there going through the same old tired scales everyday with the same routine. It's all stepping stones, once you've done it then you integrate it and move on.
Hi I just wondering if I can have a shoutout on your channel I'm trying to get motivation on doing youtube and having a shoutout on your channel would help a lot

Inspiring. I remember in the 70's, triads were a scary unnecessary thing. Chords were ok, as was melody. Great content.
I had been waiting for your content for so long!

YES! FIRE
Can you do more videos on triad pairs?
Bonjour, Votre jeu est magnifique ! Mais comment faites vous pour avoir un si beau son ? Quel matériel utilisez vous ?
Legend!
Anthony, that pad you were using at the beginning, how can I find it? Which DAW has it?
Thanks Sir :)
You're welcome!
I want to learn🤲🏾
What's with the NS back there?
💖
Are triads the only groups of notes you can pair up like this?
Not necessarily!
into the shed I go

I dig this guy due to.his knowledge and because he only uses one bass for his videos. Too many vids of thousands of basses. You only need one lol!!
i love 7:52 😂😂😂
