I LOVE how u can walk to walgreens and the dollarstore. everyone calls it the party place but ive lived here a month now and have basically never seen a party. also the laundry is on the first floor of the building and rent is so cheap I love it.

Patterson Court is definitely newer than The Commons!! It was only opened just before our International College Programme in 2009. The Commons has been up longer but wasn’t available for American CPs and it used to be international CRPs only. I lived in Chatham too and absolutely loved it, you are lucky 😍

I did my Disney College Program earlier this year and I got my first choice of apartment. I was in a 4 bedroom 8 person apartment (Chatham Square). My only real complaint about it and the same goes for the roommate I shared the room with our bedroom was extremely hot especially at night. My roommate would some nights sleep on the sofa. I mostly ended up sleeping in just a t-shirt and covered up with my flat sheet. My program was supposed to run from February through early August, but early on I decided I was going to extend it, but that never happened because of Corona Virus canceled my program (just like all DCPs for this year). I remember the field Chatham not being as big as I thought it was going to be.
I know this video is literally 2 years old and it's not gonna do much BUT you could always use that extra space to put in two more beds facing each other (if people want to bring their own bed frames). It is less private but it's a give and take situation
I did the DCP in 2015 and I stayed at The Commons and I got to choose between Patterson or Commons but The Commons has the washer and dryer in the room so I chose that for that reason and most of my friends stayed at the commons which was good

i know you asked this a long time ago lol but she had first checkin so she got to choose her bed/room and she chose the single bed
Whoever got check-in fist, Emily was lucky and did get first check-in that’s why she doesn’t have a bunk bed.
