- This video is only meant to showcase times when Hayley Williams has pushed her voice too much and strained while singing. It is not meant to invoke anger or suggest she is a bad singer.
at least it adds to the emotion tho. that oh father outro in the beginning is my fave vocally.
Yeah I'm not saying they're bad vocals, some of them are some of my favorites from her actually. The video is more just a look at times where she really pushed herself vocally.

When she dropped the mic at the end of that, you can tell that that’s an intense part for her emotionally
Thing is, the sign of a good artist is knowing how to work with a bad day. For a singer, knowing how to use your strained vocals to your advantage and create a new sound without killing your throat is an incredible talent, and takes a lot of warming up and training your voice etc. She takes such good care of her vocals and knows when to push herself and when to give herself a break.
Love her so much. She's had great vocals. Bad vocals too? But I know she also had strained vocal cords at one point in time. But I honestly love how gritty and raw it is. Especially in new album.. ugh it's so good.

this is a really cool video! tho a good chunk of these videos i don’t think she’s straining? from what i hear she’s just using a beltier mix on higher notes but it sounds safe and not strained to me? idk lol the only way to know would be to be hayley (if only!) but nonetheless this is a really cool showcase of hayley’s voice you’ve put together; love your videos!
