Well, here's one Malay superstition for you guys then. If the palm of your right hand suddenly felt itchy, it means that money is going to come into your hands.
Yup I have never heard about any of those malaysian superstitions except for the 3a replacing the number 4. Although I still make the other bed messy so "ghosts" wouldn't occupy it (even though I actually don't believe in them) but I thought I was the only one who do that.
In the USA we have... - The umbrella one - The knock on wood (only it doesn't matter how you knock) - The penny one - The salt one (and the reverse to it) - The mirror one - If a black cat crosses your path it's bad luck - If you walk under a ladder it's bad luck - Crazy things happen and people act strange during a full moon (this is actually scientifically true we had to learn about it in health science) - 13 is a cursed number so often hotels and buildings skip the the number 13 - The number 666 is a sign of Satan - Placing your purse on the floor means impending poverty - Hurricanes that start with "I" are usually the most devastating - Step on a crack break your mothers back - Step on a line break your fathers spine - Friday the 13th is an evils day and awful things happen - if a groom sees his bride in her wedding dress before the wedding it's bad luck
I live in America and never heard that the hurricanes starting with “I” are the most devastating. But now I’m like, “what if it is true?” Because Hurricane Irma was the most devastating hurricane of 2017.
I think we chinese believe that if a black cat jumps over a dead body, strange things will happen. In Malaysia there are also a lot of superstition regarding the jungle as well.
fujigoh asking permission from any tree before peeing in the forest, not saying the names of any animal, instead calling them by names so as to avoid an encounter.
there's actually many superstitions in malaysia like you cant sing when you cooking otherwise you will marry a granpa. (theres a reason tbh. yeah like if u cooking n sing your saliva will get into that food. and its reeeeally inappropriate ait..??) *only apply for girls* never cut your nails at midnight you will lose your money. never talk so arrogant in the jungle or we said it 'mulut lancang [or lancau] / mulut tak bertapis or berlapik' something like that. if you still doing it there will be something bad happen to you. (actually this kind of logic cuz.. yeah you know. we in the jungle anything can happen.) if you wear your shirt up side down you will get money. if you buy a new knife and you got hurt by it. the next day and so on you or anyone who use that knife will never get hurt by that knife. (we call it 'makan pisau') if your feet is itchy you will have a looong travel or you want to kick someone ass *lol* if your palm is itchy, you will get money. if your plate and your family plate 'berlanggar'... collide (??) means someone will come to your house. if a bird enter your house you'll have a good luck or malaysian people said 'rezeki masuk' *only apply for boys* you cant eat on double plate / 'makan berlapik/makan atas dua pinggan' otherwise you'll get married two /kawin dua/ if your pencil is shorter than your pinky finger then your parents will die (and i trust this shit when i was in elementary school the fck..) if you lie down face downward dont and never lift up your legs if not.. your parents will die also. (i also trust this shit... elementary.. Aㅏ~) if you have any plate or glass or saucer or what ever (what u call pinggan mangguk in eng.. im so bad in eng la hahahaha) that was 'sumbing' / cracked a bit. better throw it out. it brings bad luck to you. i dont remember the fish name but if you put 'em inside or outside your house, thief cant enter your house. i dont know why maybe as pendinding kot. entah la.. when its dawn or maghrib, you have to close all windows and doors to prevent bad spirits or demon or evil enter your house. dont open an umbrella inside your house if not you'll get hit by the thunder. (this is what i heard from my olders. we have so many version of story kan. just like bawang merah bawang putih.. batu belah batu bertangkup..) [sorry for my baaaddd grammar]
amin johari oh ye eh? ive read it somewhere it vice versa. right - spendthrift left - know how to save money well at first i also think like that actually. 😄
In Romania, if a black cat appears in front of you trying to get across the street you must not let it do it or if succedes, you gotta take three steps back and start again
There is another interesting one in Hungary. If your left palm itches it's a sign you will receive unexpected money however and I think this part is less common superstition, if your right palm itches you'll have unexpected expenses.
The umbrella superstition, I saw that in C-drama and HK dramas too. The ghost will ride in the umbrella and released into your home when you open it. Most absurd superstition: Bite the new shoes before it bites you!
Here are some Polish superstitions I've heard about: Putting shoes on the table Ringing in left ear (you'll hear bad news) Whistling before sleeping (summons the devil) Putting a purse or wallet on the floor (you'll lose money) Seeing a nun Swimming before June 24th Seeing a picture fall off a wall Seeing a chubby sparrow Finding a 1gr coin on the floor Putting up a picture of a Jew on your front door Having carp scales in your wallet Finding an acorn or a chestnut and keeping it Itching nose Ringing in right ear (you'll hear good news) Dropping a utensil means that someone hungry will visit you. Having hiccups means someone's thinking or talking about you. If you drop your study book before an exam, you have to step on it before picking it up, otherwise you'll fail. Counting money too often will make your hair fall off.
To Me it seems like at lot of the european superstitions are shared. A lot of the German, the French and the British superstitions, are just the same in Denmark, where I live. Your show is slowly growing on Me, and I think I'm ready for a couple of more episodes
We in Rotuma. An island under fiji 🇫🇯 but 1.) Hanging clothings at night is not a good sign🌙 2.) Spilling salt on the floor gives you bad luck 3.) No whistling at night means calling the devil to you 4.) Sleeping in the daytime can lead you to possession but not all the time it happens There is a lot more but I forgot🤭 But anyways stay safe and protect yourself and you family and friends ❤💗💛Goodbye 👋❤💖
I love your video..I'm from Hungarian.. Petra!! : Nagyon jól beszél angolul.. Minden vidit megnezek amit találok 😁😁 Várom minden egyes videót :) Good Luck/Sok szerencsét :)
in malaysia shaking legs is considered as shaking away your luck cutting your nails at night is bad when a broom touches your leg it meant bad luck if you point to a crescent moon the moon will cut your ear you must finish your rice or else you will marry a guy with lots of pimple 4 is badluck you cant give someone pear, watch , shoe as a gift because pear ( li ) its like being apart and watch ( zhong) symbolizes death and shoe means your partner will run away from you black cats are considered as bad luck opening umbrella means inviting spirits sitting on a book makes you dumb you cant open your mouth if theres strong wind because it will make your mouth stay in that shape forever
I don't know where it originated, but there is a superstition that giving or accepting scissors as gifts will bring bad luck. So the receiver has to give the giver a penny, so that they are "buying" the scissors. However, hanging scissors on your wall keeps evil spirits away. But you have to hang them open in the shape of a cross.
I'm a Malaysian and I never heard about the door knocking and the toilet flushing superstitions 😂 The umbrella one, I was thought it'll also lure snakes to you home And another superstition I was thought, is that if a butterfly (or moth) fly into your house it means someone will be coming to your house
in france , the upside down bread was for the executionner so he couldhave its bread and couldn t be confused and be given away to someone else. if u put the bread upside down in your house, you invite the executionner to come to your house. death sentences ended in 1981 :)
The one that you should mess up the bed so that the spirit will think that it is occupied is like almost true. In my school, we have hostel. The students that their house is far from the school can live there. There was an extra bed in one of the room (of course the bed is clean). And the senior who is a weightlifting athlete just got back from the gym (it's pretty late at night). She saw someone sleeping on the bed. The next morning on row call. She asked wether someone slept on the bed or not. And everybody said no. Plus, my school is pretty popular with this sprit and possesed things....
In Hungary, at least in our region, the black cat one is present only in a different way: if it crosses the street in front of you at any time of day from left to right than it's bad luck, if it crosses from right to left, it is good luck. This is in the Western part of Hungary.
wow what a video but isn't that weird and uncomfortable to live with such crazy superstitions however I got to know a lot about the culture of different peoples as I belongs to a completely different place and culture.
Hey how about this,In Malaysia,we can not take a picture of three people together in the same time because it can be misfortune to the person who is in the middle between two others which it meant is bring a death
That elbow thing, if you touch it after banging it, your unexpected guest will be an old person, but if you not, there will be a young person, and someone you like. So its necessary not to touch it. I know it like this.
The upside down bread is a thing in hungary, It really used to piss my mum off when i was a kid. Also: Eating lenntils and pork on new years day brings financial success for the year. Or your parents just really wanna feed you lentils. Now eat your coins. Pigs meant to bring luck. Owls are the birds of death, if you have an owl on the roof, death is coming. Washing your face in the first snow of the year makes you more beautiful. If you step on a young, unmarried persons heel, you'll live to see their wedding day. Sittin at the corner of the table means you won't get married for seven years. On Saint Ivan's day jumping across the bonefire brings good luck.
For Malays/Muslims in Malaysia, before entering a hotel room you must greet or give Salam while opening the door to ensure there's no spirits living there. If you receive an answer or a return Salam, slowly close the door and and say... Nopeeeee
These are some other superstitions in Malaysia 1.Kalau gantung cermin kat depan pintu masuk rumah hantu tak masuk rumah. 2. Tak boleh tangkap gambar kat tempat gelap sebab nanti ade 'orang' yang join sekali
I don't know if this is Indonesian thing or not, but my Dad used to scold me (and he still does) if he saw me sitting on our house entrance. It is said that my soulmate will be hard to get.
In Vietnam, we don't point a mirror to a bed, my mom told me that but unclear reason And when you are going to have an exam, then you should avoid anything related to 13 and avoid eating: - eggs (because the egg shape is oval, look like zero, so you will get zero in the exam if you eat eggs) - banana (because banana peel is slippery, slippery in Vietnamese is "trượt", but "trượt" also means "fail a test") - peanuts (peanuts in Vietnamese is "lạc", but "lạc" also means "lost", so will not follow the question in the exam) - octopus (octopus in Vietnamese is "mực", but "mực" also means "ink", and "ink" is black, so bad luck) - beef (beef is meat from cow, but in Vietnam, people always say "stupid like a cow") - chicken (in Vietnam, people always say "bad writing like chicken dig up") - pumpkin (pumpkin in Vietnamese is "Bí", but "Bí" also mean "Don't know how to do something")
That's pretty interesting. Are there any foods that students eat specifically to help them pass an exam? I've heard in Japan, Kit-Kats have become a go-to food because the Japanese pronunciations sounds like the words "to surely win". Just wondering if there's anything like that in Vietnam.
wow, that wine one can be really dangerous in a rare occasion, if they believe someone in their family is expecting a baby and they only have 1 family member and their significant other has been away for a long time therefore not being theirs, lmao these are some Vegas odds
most of these are the same in America too. In the northern southern America if you put your hangbag/purse (whatever) its a sign of pending poverty. which is basically why i grew up getting yelled at for putting my moms purse on the floor. lol also, if you spilt a poll between two people when walking that its bad luck
malaysian/chinese superstitions! 1)putting chopsticks on rice represents bad luck 2)when you pointed the moon,PRAY because the moon will cut of your ear edit:(I guess?)
Actually the umbrella part for Malaysia it's only for Chinese. I don't think Malay, Indians, Indo, Merma, Bangadesh, Thai, Vietnam, Philippines have such believe. Yeah our country consists ton of races lol....
In English class we were playing a game where we had to describe superstition so that a person could guess it without saying certain words and someone was screaming BLACK CAT UMBRELLA INDOORS WALKING UNDER A LADDERRRRR HOW ARE YOU THIS STUPID NEXT TIME IM SWITCHING TEAMS AHHHHH
The number thing: In U.S. 13 is the unlucky number, and a lot of hotels, etc, just skip it all together, going straight from 12 to 14. So yeah, the 14th floor is really the 13th floor, but I guess I calling it 14 erases the bad luck? Never made much sense to me. Calling it 12a makes a bit more sense to me.
You wanna know something funny? Or creepy I’m not sure. On two occasions that I went to McDonald’s my order number was, wait for it... 444 Does this mean I’m doomed? Will I die if it happens a third time?
For philippines u cannot open unbrellas indors too Here are some superstitions in philippines ( my country ) Don't open umbrella indoors Dont clean in new year Dont cut hair or nails at night Dont take picture in three the person in the middle will die Dont go straight to your house after going to a funeral. Stop at a place far from your house first then after go to our house . If you do not do this the person which funeral you went will follow u ( ghost ) There are more superstition but im lazy to write lol
I live in America and am superstitious but only of certain things like ladders 666 and mirror but with the black cat I consider it good luck since my gma has a black cat and one day it crossed my path and later that day I found a $20 bill
I'm half Chinese and I didn't know about any of the superstitions we have...(;v;) welp, at least I know that we shouldn't wear black on CNY(cuz black symbolises funerals and death)^^;; also, pineapples bring good luck~~~
Man I see Malaysians here dissing Nelvin as if he's not Malaysian. FYI we're so diverse obviously he won't know everything. And of course he's talking more about the Chinese side of Malaysia, because SURPRISE he's Chinese Malaysian. Does not invalidate his Malaysian-ness.
you should give multiple examples for Malaysia as we are multiracial and multicultural.
Thanks for your suggestion. I have merely decided to go with superstitions I am familiar with. =)
Noted on that. Better be safe, right.
Well, here's one Malay superstition for you guys then. If the palm of your right hand suddenly felt itchy, it means that money is going to come into your hands.
Dr Rabia Bazeer I think that info comes from the Chinese guy so that superstition only for chinese
Yup I have never heard about any of those malaysian superstitions except for the 3a replacing the number 4. Although I still make the other bed messy so "ghosts" wouldn't occupy it (even though I actually don't believe in them) but I thought I was the only one who do that.
In the USA we have...
- The umbrella one
- The knock on wood (only it doesn't matter how you knock)
- The penny one
- The salt one (and the reverse to it)
- The mirror one
- If a black cat crosses your path it's bad luck
- If you walk under a ladder it's bad luck
- Crazy things happen and people act strange during a full moon (this is actually scientifically true we had to learn about it in health science)
- 13 is a cursed number so often hotels and buildings skip the the number 13
- The number 666 is a sign of Satan
- Placing your purse on the floor means impending poverty
- Hurricanes that start with "I" are usually the most devastating
- Step on a crack break your mothers back
- Step on a line break your fathers spine
- Friday the 13th is an evils day and awful things happen
- if a groom sees his bride in her wedding dress before the wedding it's bad luck
Sam B I can confirm that is true
We share all of those in France except for the hurricane and the stepping on a line/crack ones.
I live in America and never heard that the hurricanes starting with “I” are the most devastating. But now I’m like, “what if it is true?” Because Hurricane Irma was the most devastating hurricane of 2017.
Hey i have hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia meaning scared of the bad number
Wig Wig DONT CALL SPONGEBOB AT 3 AM... ill go
I think we chinese believe that if a black cat jumps over a dead body, strange things will happen. In Malaysia there are also a lot of superstition regarding the jungle as well.
fujigoh yea.. like not calling out a person's name and say im going to pee if youre going to pee
fujigoh asking permission from any tree before peeing in the forest, not saying the names of any animal, instead calling them by names so as to avoid an encounter.
i think not just Chinese, I was watched Malay Horror movie it was included too. sorry bad grammar
there's actually many superstitions in malaysia like
you cant sing when you cooking otherwise you will marry a granpa. (theres a reason tbh. yeah like if u cooking n sing your saliva will get into that food. and its reeeeally inappropriate ait..??) *only apply for girls*

if you wear your shirt up side down you will get money.
if you buy a new knife and you got hurt by it. the next day and so on you or anyone who use that knife will never get hurt by that knife. (we call it 'makan pisau')
if your feet is itchy you will have a looong travel or you want to kick someone ass *lol*
if your palm is itchy, you will get money.

if a bird enter your house you'll have a good luck or malaysian people said 'rezeki masuk'
*only apply for boys*
you cant eat on double plate / 'makan berlapik/makan atas dua pinggan' otherwise you'll get married two /kawin dua/
if your pencil is shorter than your pinky finger then your parents will die (and i trust this shit when i was in elementary school the fck..)
if you lie down face downward dont and never lift up your legs if not.. your parents will die also. (i also trust this shit... elementary.. Aㅏ~)
if you have any plate or glass or saucer or what ever (what u call pinggan mangguk in eng.. im so bad in eng la hahahaha) that was 'sumbing' / cracked a bit. better throw it out. it brings bad luck to you.
i dont remember the fish name but if you put 'em inside or outside your house, thief cant enter your house. i dont know why maybe as pendinding kot. entah la..
when its dawn or maghrib, you have to close all windows and doors to prevent bad spirits or demon or evil enter your house.
dont open an umbrella inside your house if not you'll get hit by the thunder. (this is what i heard from my olders. we have so many version of story kan. just like bawang merah bawang putih.. batu belah batu bertangkup..)
[sorry for my baaaddd grammar]
oh wait... i just taught you how to curse in malaysian slang. ㅅㅂ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Depends on which palm. Your right one means getting money, your left palm means losing money.
amin johari oh ye eh? ive read it somewhere it vice versa.
right - spendthrift
left - know how to save money
well at first i also think like that actually. 😄
kyung bae depends on who's telling. Some go left=in, right=out; others go the other way around. I learned from my mum, she's from Johor.
+kyung bae the fish is ikan puyu
In Romania, if a black cat appears in front of you trying to get across the street you must not let it do it or if succedes, you gotta take three steps back and start again
That's really interesting! I've heard of the black cat one in some cultures, but not the one about taking 3 steps back! :) Thanks for sharing! :P
There is another interesting one in Hungary. If your left palm itches it's a sign you will receive unexpected money however and I think this part is less common superstition, if your right palm itches you'll have unexpected expenses.
In Germany if you stay in a hotel you have to run all the water with the lights off and flush the toilet. This gets the sprits out.
The umbrella superstition, I saw that in C-drama and HK dramas too. The ghost will ride in the umbrella and released into your home when you open it. Most absurd superstition: Bite the new shoes before it bites you!
Here are some Polish superstitions I've heard about:
Putting shoes on the table
Ringing in left ear (you'll hear bad news)
Whistling before sleeping (summons the devil)
Putting a purse or wallet on the floor (you'll lose money)
Seeing a nun
Swimming before June 24th
Seeing a picture fall off a wall
Seeing a chubby sparrow
Finding a 1gr coin on the floor
Putting up a picture of a Jew on your front door
Having carp scales in your wallet
Finding an acorn or a chestnut and keeping it
Itching nose
Ringing in right ear (you'll hear good news)
Dropping a utensil means that someone hungry will visit you.
Having hiccups means someone's thinking or talking about you.
If you drop your study book before an exam, you have to step on it before picking it up, otherwise you'll fail.
Counting money too often will make your hair fall off.

in my country we also have the rule that one must mess up the bed in prevent unwanted ´visitor´ sleeping there

in malaysia
shaking legs is considered as shaking away your luck

you cant open your mouth if theres strong wind because it will make your mouth stay in that shape forever
Hui Lim Chee
*only apply to the chinese tho, except for the cutting nails at night and some other thing
Opening umbrella here in Singapore too is bad luck
AdamAldo Smith Mitch I am also Singaporean
Where can I read more about the French understanding of the opening an umbrella inside?
In theater, we have saying "good luck", having a peacock feather onstage, and saying Hamlet(I think) as bad luck
In the US we hold our breath as we walk past/ drive past graveyards so the spirits don't enter your body through your mouth and nose.
We have so many superstitions in Malaysia that you could literally make an hour video
A lot of the UK and France ones are so in Italy too.
Opening an umbrella indoors is bad luck because you might break something.
I'm french and I've never heard of the upside down bread thing
I don't know where it originated, but there is a superstition that giving or accepting scissors as gifts will bring bad luck. So the receiver has to give the giver a penny, so that they are "buying" the scissors. However, hanging scissors on your wall keeps evil spirits away. But you have to hang them open in the shape of a cross.
I'm a Malaysian and I never heard about the door knocking and the toilet flushing superstitions 😂
The umbrella one, I was thought it'll also lure snakes to you home
And another superstition I was thought, is that if a butterfly (or moth) fly into your house it means someone will be coming to your house
in france , the upside down bread was for the executionner so he couldhave its bread and couldn t be confused and be given away to someone else. if u put the bread upside down in your house, you invite the executionner to come to your house. death sentences ended in 1981 :)

OMG I don't wanna live in Malaysia, becouse i was born in 2004.04.04. XD And This is not a joke! 😂 That's my real birth Date 😇
To be fair, only the Chinese have bad-beliefs related to this number, some other races may find it cool! :D
wow what a video but isn't that weird and uncomfortable to live with such crazy superstitions however I got to know a lot about the culture of different peoples as I belongs to a completely different place and culture.
Where do you guys live?
It looks a bit like my home country Germany 😊
Sorry this reply came too late, but you're right, we are in Germany. :)
Hey how about this,In Malaysia,we can not take a picture of three people together in the same time because it can be misfortune to the person who is in the middle between two others which it meant is bring a death
If you found ghost , kick it , if its say "ouch !" , its a person
In the uk if you use the washing machine on new year’s eve or New Year’s Day you wash a loved one out of your life forever.
I don't believe in any of these superstitions, but occasionally I still do them for fun. 😀

You guys are awesome! You should try some brazilian portuguese words! 🇧🇷
In Indonesia if you woke up at afternoon, your good luck will disappear.BTW good video !!
so do malaysians create superstitions to stop doing chores?
Breaking a mirror in France = 7 years of Bad luck too
Never let your purse or wallet empty of money. Put at least one coin or one notes.
Some Malaysian do that.
I don't know if this is Indonesian thing or not, but my Dad used to scold me (and he still does) if he saw me sitting on our house entrance.
It is said that my soulmate will be hard to get.
And for Chinese when you sleep you can’t face the door it means like dead people and bad luck and also the spirits will haunt you
Fsr I've been taught to sleep facing the left but now that I think of it, I don't actually know why
1:30 In Poland it's the same
I actually still do the hotel thing cause i aint screwing around with supernatural shit
In Vietnam, we don't point a mirror to a bed, my mom told me that but unclear reason
And when you are going to have an exam, then you should avoid anything related to 13 and avoid eating:
- eggs (because the egg shape is oval, look like zero, so you will get zero in the exam if you eat eggs)
- banana (because banana peel is slippery, slippery in Vietnamese is "trượt", but "trượt" also means "fail a test")
- peanuts (peanuts in Vietnamese is "lạc", but "lạc" also means "lost", so will not follow the question in the exam)
- octopus (octopus in Vietnamese is "mực", but "mực" also means "ink", and "ink" is black, so bad luck)
- beef (beef is meat from cow, but in Vietnam, people always say "stupid like a cow")
- chicken (in Vietnam, people always say "bad writing like chicken dig up")
- pumpkin (pumpkin in Vietnamese is "Bí", but "Bí" also mean "Don't know how to do something")
That's pretty interesting. Are there any foods that students eat specifically to help them pass an exam? I've heard in Japan, Kit-Kats have become a go-to food because the Japanese pronunciations sounds like the words "to surely win". Just wondering if there's anything like that in Vietnam.
Daniel Joseph Rousseaux Beans, peas mean "đậu", and "đậu" also mean pass an exam
Nice! I wish English had something like this. Maybe an English speaker can eat pasta to pass?
Daniel Joseph Rousseaux Lol, good one
wow, that wine one can be really dangerous in a rare occasion, if they believe someone in their family is expecting a baby and they only have 1 family member and their significant other has been away for a long time therefore not being theirs, lmao these are some Vegas odds
what about number 40+? do you call it 30a 31a 32a????
That is the only set of numbers that does not get affected, as far as I know. =P
Yes it was 30a, 31a and others~ but some place it was A31, A32 and others.
I really wish I remembered some of the superstitions from Inuit culture.
most of these are the same in America too. In the northern southern America if you put your hangbag/purse (whatever) its a sign of pending poverty. which is basically why i grew up getting yelled at for putting my moms purse on the floor. lol also, if you spilt a poll between two people when walking that its bad luck
try Singapore please!!!
Hallo It's me I from Singapore
in the US we have the Penny superstition. We call our one cent coin a penny.
malaysian/chinese superstitions!
1)putting chopsticks on rice represents bad luck
2)when you pointed the moon,PRAY because the moon will cut of your ear
edit:(I guess?)
Never point at the moon-your ear will cut off
Lincoln Lin I have pointed a thousand times my ear is as it is and I can hear pretty well
Kimaradt, hogy ha megsimogatod/megfogod a beütött könyököd, akkor nem jön az a váratlan vendég! :D Vagy legalábbis én így 'tanultam' :D
The lion dance is a superstition from thr chinese folklore
Actually the umbrella part for Malaysia it's only for Chinese. I don't think Malay, Indians, Indo, Merma, Bangadesh, Thai, Vietnam, Philippines have such believe. Yeah our country consists ton of races lol....
I think old malay people afraid snake coming to home if you still open your umbrella in home....
In Philippines if a spoon falls you will have a female guest same with a man but with a fork
American south: placing purse on floor brings poverty
Lee M. Haha
My next door neighbour has six black cats...
In the USA a superstition if you step on a crack you are braking your moms back
In the U.S. the superstition is the same as great Britain
I always knock. Always. :D
I actually found a real 4 leaf clover in year 1 🍀🍀🍀
Also don't look at a dog while its peeing cause you'll get a bump on your eye and don't lie cause if you do you'll wake up with a bump on your tongue
You wanna know something funny? Or creepy I’m not sure. On two occasions that I went to McDonald’s my order number was, wait for it...
444
Does this mean I’m doomed? Will I die if it happens a third time?
I don't think it works that way.... xD
For philippines u cannot open unbrellas indors too
Here are some superstitions in philippines ( my country )
Don't open umbrella indoors
Dont clean in new year
Dont cut hair or nails at night
Dont take picture in three the person in the middle will die
Dont go straight to your house after going to a funeral. Stop at a place far from your house first then after go to our house . If you do not do this the person which funeral you went will follow u ( ghost )
There are more superstition but im lazy to write lol
I live in America and am superstitious but only of certain things like ladders 666 and mirror but with the black cat I consider it good luck since my gma has a black cat and one day it crossed my path and later that day I found a $20 bill
In the U.S. if a black cat crosses your path than it is bad luck.
I'm half Chinese and I didn't know about any of the superstitions we have...(;v;) welp, at least I know that we shouldn't wear black on CNY(cuz black symbolises funerals and death)^^;; also, pineapples bring good luck~~~
somebody: a black cat is bad luck
me: That's racist
Kérlek nem lehetne Magyar feliratot lehetne ?
2:13 sun god ???? We don't have a sun god it's just bad luck
The mirror is seven years of bad luck for us too
The bread and bird one is fake
Japanese also avoid the number 4 for the same reason.
That and 9 because it can sound like the word for suffering.
I'm English and I haven't heard of half of them
Not sure where it came from ( Mexican and basque/Spanish) but if a girl swept her feet with the broom you would marry a widow.
It's true
India we have a superstition that one who share the table salt directly to hands of others will develop to enimies.
