I would say don't face the sun and probably wouldn't be getting blinded and better quality video. Nice flight.

@@Eddy_zilla Don't listen to this guy!
You should always face the wind so that when you get into trouble the plane drifts back to you.
Always take off and land against the wind (Looks like you took off into a right crosswind? That explains the immediate left turn).
If possible, of course, you should avoid flying 'through' the sun. If you can't avoid that, just temporarily close one eye ;)

Some observations: The choice of the first plane was a good one as it has the 'safe' stabilisation system which is great for beginners and makes the first flight a lot less scary. I'd say it would have been better if you could have found a bigger more open field with less obstacles and fences. It would have been better to have the sun behind you if possible, you need to take off and land into the wind. The plane seemed stable in flight so the centre of gravity looked ok. Always position the battery so the plane balances at the CG mark (about a third of the way back from the leading edge of the wing). Check it before every flight. A tail heavy plane will crash. Repair, don't give up and keep practising. Good luck and don't give up.

Awesome 😎 thank you for the feedback it’s definitely a fun plane and feels very safe flying once I got the hang of it I unfortunately did crash it recently but will repair and continue practicing more frequently 😂✈️🙌 thank you for watching and for the feedback support 😎🤙

I’ve owned mine for about 5 years now and it is an incredible plane for beginners. The only suggestion with flying any RC plane is never rely or permanently fly with “SAFE” enabled. Yes SAFE is amazing and keeps her level but once you get a few hundred feet up the shut it off and practice flying for real. Always give yourself room for “2 or 3 mistakes” when doing stunts or flying full sticks for the first time.
Room for mistakes means there are mental ceilings (measured in multiples of 10-100ft) in which it is ok to fail and lose control of your plane while maintaining enough space for a recovery. Example: take off plane at 0ft, climb to 100ft, perform a loop and fail, use the 100ft ceiling from ground level as a recovery zone. The ceiling safety distance you set in your mind should be changed depending on the weight and size of model. A smaller 2oz or 56gram UMX plane will require a lower safety ceiling because it will have a more gentle glide slope etc if systems fail and a free fall begins. Many other factors affect it too. Safe flying!

Thank you, that’s very good advice and yes I still haven’t taken the safe mode off but eventually will have the ability 🙌😎

You did great for your first time flying! That was my starter plane 6yrs ago (version 1). I also crashed and fixed it a few times. I still have it and fly it sometimes; it’s not as pretty anymore but still flies great. Was going to retire it but just can’t for some reason 🙂. The nerves will fade as you get more experience and confidence. I sill get nervous when I maiden a new plane even now. My advice is to watch your airspeed, don’t get too slow especially when turning or it will tip stall fairly easily. I learned the hard way. It’s definitely more forgiving in SAFE mode. Keep flying and don’t get discouraged. 👍

Even tho some of these beginner models say 'easy to fly' on the box, for a beginner it can and does end badly for many inexperienced flyers, take some one with you who has experience would be my advice along with a buddy box 👍.

Always take off and land into wind when possible and get plenty of height which will act as a cushion if you get into trouble, and common sense is a requirement, surroundings must be clear of obstackles such as fences?. Best of luck.
